KM Neuhold's third book in her Heathens Ink series, From Ashes, is an amazing story.
It's a compelling and accomplished story of two broken men, who together can save one another. Nox's story is heart-wrenching. And the grief and guilt from losing his brother is drowning Adam.
The special meaning of the phoenix rising from ashes is wonderfully explored. I applaud the author for this addition to the tale.
Another remarkable part of Nox and Adam's story is the way that Adam reacts to Nox's scars. Seriously, this is so damn beautiful and emotional. I was so touched by this.
