Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me (Naughty or Nice #8) by Rheland Richmond

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Dear Santa,

I know I have a lot and I shouldn’t ask for more. But all I want is a Daddy that’s okay being a dad too.
I love my daughter, but I’m still a boy at heart. I know what I’m asking for is hard. Maybe even impossible. But I have to try.

Sebastian is happy with his life, but there’s something missing. A Daddy to call his own. When he goes on a blind date with a Daddy from his app, he never expects the whole thing is a set up. There’s no way this much younger guy is a Daddy, right?

Maddox has skeletons of his own. The last thing he wants is to be a Daddy right now, no matter how much he misses it. How much he craves it. But Sebastian needs guiding and his darling little girl touches a part of his heart he thought was long dead.

Can Sebastian earn Maddox’s trust and get the relationship he’s always wanted?

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is part of the Naughty or Nice multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many boys hoping that holiday magic will bring them their perfect Daddy, why not grab them all?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is a wonderful Daddy kink romance. Part of the multi-author Naughty or Nice series, I love this Rheland Richmond gem!

A little who's looking for a Daddy. Nothing unique there, right? But, omg, the little has a child. As for the Daddy, he's not looking for a little since he was hurt in the past. I love this!!!

Sebastian's a single father. I love how he is with his child, but I love even more that he needs his own daddy. Enter Maddox, who's previously been hurt and wasn't interested in being a Daddy again. Until he meets Sebastian.

I love the layers involved with both men. Both are well developed, flaws and all. Sebastian struggles with his needs, feeling he's too old to be a boy. Maddox is totally fighting his need to be a daddy.  But with Sebastian, everything just meshes. It's fun seeing both men find exactly what they need in the other, all their hesitations.

These men are wonderful together. They each value the other as a person, as well as for their role in their BDSM relationship. The connection between the two just makes their chemistry even better.

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me is a fabulous Daddy kink read. Rheland Richmond perfectly combines sweet with heat in this one. It's an easy and delightful read.

Holding On to His Manny (Amber Falls #3) by Rheland Richmond

A single, grieving father.

A manny with a big heart.

Two kids who need them both.

When Dean loses his wife, he wonders how he’s supposed to raise his children alone. Meeting Owen is like a wake-up call... Owen was the lifeline keeping them from drowning… he still is.

Owen loves taking care of Dean and the kids, but he's broken the manny’s cardinal rule: No falling for the father. Especially a straight one.

After six years of one-sided emotions, he knows he can't stay.

Faced with losing Owen, Dean must confront his true feelings for the man who's helped heal his family, and his heart. He only hopes he hasn't waited too long to find the happiness they all deserve.

It's time for a change — and another wake-up call for Dean, before he loses his second chance at love.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Holding On to His Manny is a fabulous book by Rheland Richmond. The third book in the Amber Falls series, it is easily read as a standalone.

Owen and Dean make for a fun couple, and I adore the way everything unfolds.

Their story is one of a fantastic and sweet gay awakening romance. Their friendship has developed naturally over the years, after Dean hired Owen to be his manny. But the years have just drawn Owen more and more to his boss, as he's now madly in love with him.

What follows is a riveting tale of both men struggling with Owen's decision to move on and leave his position. Owen is heartbroken, but he just can't work anymore for a man he loves, knowing they will never be together.

And poor Dean. He wants love, but can't click with anyone. He's clearly stunned and shaken by Owen's decision to leave. And then...well, just read to find out how everything develops.

The writing is fabulous, flowing perfectly and full of emotion. Written in alternating 1st person pov, the characters immediately come to life and the reader easily follows their motivations throughout.

Holding On to His Manny is a great read. Rheland Richmond entertains throughout this combo of employee/boss, friends to lovers, and age gap romance. I couldn't put it down.

Fragile (Strictly Off Limits #2) by Skyler Snow & Rheland Richmond

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Jack
Flying out to LA to check on my son’s new relationship is one thing, but what do I do when I fall in love with his best friend Tom?
I know Elliot wants Tom to be our buffer. I think he's meant to distract me. He definitely does that. The more I talk to Tom, the more I realize there’s more to him than a flirty, over the top persona he shows the world.
He’s real, he’s lonely and everything about him draws me in.

Tom
My best friend wants me to check in on his dad. That’s it. So why am I feeling this way?
Sure, the man’s hot, but there are plenty of gorgeous men in L.A... All I have to do is talk to him, keep him company and make sure he's occupied during his stay.
There’s just one problem; the more I get to know him the more I want him to be mine. This was never part of the plan. But I’m falling for Jack and I don’t know how to stop. I don’t want to.
Fragile has little to no angst and lots of fluff! There is no cheating, and definitely a HEA! This a short and sweet read.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

After loving Forbidden, I was super excited to dive into Fragile. The second book in the Strictly Off Limits series by Skyler Snow and Rheland Richmond, it's everything I hoped it would be.

In the first book, Forbidden, Elliott fell in love with his father's friend. This time Jack falls in love with his son's friend Tom. Yes, this time around we get to see Elliott's father, Jack, find love. And, yay, it's another May to December romance. Woo Hoo!

I love everything about this story. It's wonderful that their friendship is what develops first, as they naturally gravitate to one another. Their relationship is one of flirting and hot tension, followed by first times, spanking, and the struggle of coming out to one's son. There's heat and humor, sweetness and tenderness.

Jack and Tom are two characters who are easy to love. Each man has a past that is complicated and has fully shaped them into who they are today. Jack is one who put his life aside in order to raise his son. He's bisexual, but hasn't ever been with a man. Tom, meanwhile, has a heart wrenching past, full of a homophobic family and a life on the streets.

I love these men and the ease in which they fall in love. The two complete one another perfectly, with each bringing a sense of calm to the other. Of course, this is a story of a relationship that develops in secret, which adds a touch of light angst.

The writing is great, with alternating 1st person pov that brings the emotions out in full force. The authors excel in entwining these men with Scott and Elliott, making them ever present in this story.

Fragile is a fantastic read. Be sure to check out this Skyler Snow and Rheland Richmond collaboration the next time you're in the mood for a sweet May to December read. You won't be disappointed.

Forbidden (Strictly Off Limits #1) by Skyler Snow & Rheland Richmond

Everyone knows you don't date your best friend's son. Right?
Scott
I would never do something like that…
But when my best friend asks me if his son could stay for a few weeks until he got on his feet, the plan wasn’t to fall for him.
I know I should stay away from Elliot. He's half my age and I’m not even sure he’s gay.
But no matter how hard I try, all I can think about is making Elliot mine.
Elliot
I've known Scott all my life. He's been there for me and my dad countless times.
So why do I suddenly have such a huge crush on him?
Seeing him after my years away in college has changed everything. I can't stop looking at him. I can't stop thinking about him. His whole vibe screams Daddy and I'm officially confused.
Am I falling in love with my dad's best friend?

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Forbidden, the first book in the Strictly Off Limits series, is an enjoyable read by Skyler Snow and Rheland Richmond.

If you enjoy age gap romances, you will love this father's best friend story. Elliott is off to stay with his father's friend, Scott, as his new job is nearby. Cue the fun, as the attraction is instant. I like that their attraction is new, despite having known one another for years. Elliott has grown up, allowing Scott to see him as the man he now is, and Elliott is suddenly seeing Scott from new eyes.

Their story is full of intense want. And of course, the forbidden aspect is always there. They don't jump right into bed, instead developing this new part of their friendship first and working out their feelings.

This story includes some Daddy play, but nothing heavy. It seemed to come out of nowhere, but I just went with it, since Scott screams Daddy. Their story also includes some pleasurable sexual exploration, as Scott teaches the young Elliott some things.

Written in alternating 1st person pov, the reader is able to get into the mindset of both men. The characters are both charming, their chemistry is strong, and they make for a fabulous couple. The tension between the two jumps off the pages, and the reader will fall in love with this couple.

If you are looking for a serious forbidden element however, this book isn't for you. The forbidden aspect is certainly present, but it's a surprisingly low angst read.

Forbidden is a fabulous May to December romance. The authors excel in developing this forbidden romance into a riveting tale. It's perfect when you're in the mood for something light and fluffy. As for now, I am excited to see what comes next in this series.

Forever With His Boss (Amber Falls #2) by Rheland Richmond

Blurb

Ford had fallen for his boss—hard. All that time in close proximity, who could blame him?
But then the craziest thing happened... Sawyer fell for him too, and they had a wonderful Christmas to remember. This Amber Falls boy had never been more grateful for a snowstorm and closed airports—especially when it led to his forever.
The couple spent a few amazingly romantic weeks together—at work and at home—until Sawyer took what he promised would be a quick trip to New York… only he's not returned... and now he’s unreachable.
Maybe forever was just a moment in time and Sawyer wasn’t the man Ford thought he was.
But then he remembered the way Sawyer looked at him and Ford decided to follow his heart… literally. Only when he showed up in New York, it was to find Sawyer with a teenager, a tween and a toddler in his home.
Maybe he never knew the man he fell for, or maybe there's an explanation for everything.
Besides, there was something about Sawyer with a baby in his arms that Ford couldn’t quite resist.

This is not a Standalone, but the finale of Sawyer and Ford's story that began in Stranded With The Boss.

Review
My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Forever With His Boss is a riveting romance. The second book in Rheland Richmond's Amber Falls series, it continues with that same feel good mood.

After meeting Ford and Sawyer in Stranded With the Boss, we now get into their relationship more. They are absolutely great together; a loyal and tight unit.

Their story is full of endless amounts of love. Their relationship is strong enough to get past anything that comes their way, but it will be tested over and over. And they also have to test their trust in one another, and test it they do. But their absolute love for one another can promise you a happy ending.

The have to deal with suddenly having kids to raise, family issues, and more. They have to deal with homophobia, work issues, and a druggie parent. The chemistry between the men is smoking, and their bond becomes even stronger throughout their upheaval. And once again, there's a wonderful sense of family, as Ford's parents continue to bring a lot of warmth to their story.

I enjoy the author's writing style, finding it soothing and well developed. Her characters are lovable and the story line is compelling, with the perfect amount of angst. I definitely couldn't put this story down.

Overall, Forever With His Boss is perfect when you're in the mood for an established couple dealing with obstacles thrown their way. Rheland Richmond does a wonderful job with this story and I am excited to see what happens next in Amber Falls.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Rheland Richmond's Stranded With His Boss is a warm-hearted fluffy read.

A boss/employee romance, Ford and Sawyer find love during a snowstorm. Their story includes sweet Christmas moments and cozy sleigh rides as the two quickly give into their attraction. Ford's parents are extremely lovable, giving the reader that sense of a feel-good Christmas family together.

As usual, I enjoy the author's writing style. But there are definitely some moments that the author uses the names too often, lacking the use of pronouns. It is isn't often, but those scenes are a little strange.

Overall, it's a fast read that serves as a wonderful introduction to the Amber Falls series and I look forward to reading more about these men.

Review
My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

A Family of His Own is a great addition to Rheland Richmond's Stories of Us. The third book in the series, this one is great tale of two broken men who help each other to heal. It's a tale of two men finding a family together.

Cris has made some mistakes and now he's dealing with a stalker ex. Soon Xavier is assigned as Cris's bodyguard. Cris and Xavier are perfect together. Xavier's an ex Seal, which could explain Cris's reaction to him. However, in a heartwarming twist, it's just the presence of Xavier, the man, not the ex-Seal, that immediately instills a sense of peace and calmness in the man. Even better yet, Xavier has the same reaction to being with Cris.

The backstory is important, but it's slow and long, as it's told all at once. I prefer when we get slow snippets of a backstory, as told all at once it's a little distracting. But it still worked.

Now, for the fun stuff, Xavier's thoughtfulness starts to win Cris over and the lines start to blur. Cris and Xavier are heavy on the want, need, and heat. The chemistry is sizzling between these two.

Their story includes mistakes, fear, pain, and more. It also includes love, romance, and passion. These are two men with tough pasts. It's a riveting story of these two men healing. And it's a wonderful story of family. The reader is treated to some great friends and family banter. And even better yet, a sweet and adorable baby.

I love the author's writing style, as I feel invested in the characters from the start, and enjoy the entire journey with them. The storyline is fascinating, while also leaving me with an edge of fear throughout. Personally, I was surprised that there wasn't a heavier level of fear, but this worked well too. The focus on the importance of family is well developed and executed, and I enjoyed every moment.

A Family of His Own is a great read. The entire Stories of Us series is fantastic.
I highly recommend it when you're in the mood for a wonderful romance spun around some exciting danger and action.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Unsuitable Omega is a fun and entertaining romance by Skye Richmond.

Nick is following the path his family has arranged for him, including getting married to a "suitable" omega. His family is rich and he's expected to marry one of his own status.

But when he meets Jai, he finds himself falling for the poor omega and reevaluating his choices. Of course, Nick never reveals that he's engaged, and is having trouble finding the right time to do so. (Note - there is no cheating. Nick's engagement is to someone he doesn't like.)

The attraction between Nick and Jai is great, and their love is strong. They make a fantastic couple. They come from vastly different worlds, but they are perfect for each other. And the chemistry between the two is sizzling!

Their story will keep the readers entertained by a shallow fiancée, an intriguing plot, some steamy moments, and more. They will deal with their uncertainties, secrets, and learning to forgive. It's all beautifully developed with an excellent pace.

Unsuitable Omega is my first time reading a Skye Richmond novel, but Rheland Richmond has certainly succeeded in carrying over her fantastic writing style to this pen name. I love this story and found it to be riveting. I can't wait to see what Skye has in store for the next book.

REVIEW
My Rating - 5 Stars!

His Instant Family, the second book in Rheland Richmond's Stories of Us, is a wonderfully sweet romance.

Michael and Teo have an instant attraction when they meet, but they both think the other is taken. For Michael, Teo is the first person that he's been attracted to since his wife died.

The beauty of their relationship for Michael is that Teo helps bring the light back into Michael's life. Since his wife dies, Michael had been spending all his time working, lost in his pain and loneliness.  It's touching to see they ways in which Teo pulls him out of the darkness.

One of the things I absolutely love about this story is the way in which the age gap between Michael and Teo is handled.  They are about 15 years apart in age, and the men discuss the things that make their relationship work despite the age difference. Most novels tend to skip over the logistics, but this one perfectly addresses it.

Another special thing about this book is the thought of family. Upon reading the title, I assumed it means that Teo will be gaining an instant family when he falls for Michael and his kids. But, Michael also gets an instant family in Teo's parents, siblings and more. It is heart-warming to see them both find the family they are missing.

I definitely recommend His Instant Family, as Rheland Richmond manages to pen this feel good story while keeping me anxiously awaiting the next in the series.
