Within the Mind is a fantastic book by Alice Winters. I can only hope it is the beginning of a series.
Chevy and Seneca are partners who work together to go into people's minds. In their world, many have gifts, and Chevy has the ability to go into people's minds. Seneca's gift is the ability to mimic other's gifts. This makes for some crazy, scary and insane moments, as one of their cases doesn't go as planned.
As good as that part of the story is, what puts it over the top is the non-stop humor and banter between the two men. We're gifted with sexual innuendos, sass, and whole lot of laughs.
Does it get any better than the penis fly trap? And, you'll love the poison ivy incident.
If you like Pandora Pine's Cold Case Series, you need to read Within The Mind! There's non-stop action, non-stop suspense, and a budding romance. I loved it.
