His Christmas Magic (Vale Valley Season Four #9) by Drea Roman

Blurb

Wolf shifter Darren longs for his fated mate. Antsy and impatient, he is drawn to search the forest near his family lands the night before Thanksgiving. He senses his mate close by and a crashed sleigh leads him to a grievously injured man. His wolf and human sides are in complete agreement: the tiny blond with the sparkling blue eyes is their mate. But a head injury blurs his mate's past. Are his mate’s strange snippets of memory real or the imaginings of a traumatized brain? What do the man’s feats of magic mean for their bond and their future?

Tuck is concussed and confused. One thing he knows for certain: the hunky, dark haired fireman who smells like sage and wood smoke is his mate. But his memory is fuzzy. Who is this Nick he remembers so fondly? How does he make objects appear with the simple snap of his fingers and flick of his wrist? Why does he know the wrong words to “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”? And what about the little girl who swears he has elf ears? Is Tuck really one of Santa's elves or is he just an injured man with Christmas on his mind?

His Christmas Magic is book nine of the Holiday Season (season four) of the multi-author series of Vale Valley, a small town full of magic and open to everyone in need of love and a home. Join Darren and Tuck as they figure out their future in this holiday story full of magic, love, and a guaranteed HEA.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Drea Roman's His Christmas Magic, part of the Vale Valley series, is an absolutely delightful holiday read.

I love this light-hearted and easy to read book. It has a super fun storyline that kept me entertained throughout.

Tuck is an elf who's off to find his mate. Oh yeah, and his best friend is Santa. So, yes, of course this is a great story.

Darren's a fireman who happens to be a wolf shifter. So, yes, a wolf shifter and an elf are fated mates. Bring it on! It's funny, fluffy and absolutely a feel-good

read. I enjoyed all of it. It's perfectly light-hearted Christmas fun.

Their story has some enchanting Christmas mentions, including Santa, his sleigh, reindeer shifters, and Christmas magic.

Of course, not every author could do this plot justice. But the writing is fantastic, instantly drawing the reader in. Told in alternating 1st person pov, the reader is able to fully feel every moment. The storyline is solid, wonderfully developed and has a great flow.

I love it all!!! Don't miss this gem. His Christmas Magic is perfect when you're in the mood for a feel-good holiday romance.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Drea Roman's debut novel, Loving Him is a remarkable tale of love and loss. It's a riveting, emotional journey that is completing deserving of a time. Just be sure to have some tissues nearby.

Black and Aubrey feel an immediate spark. But, as they get closer, Black's secret keep him from being able to give himself completely to Aubrey.

Their story is one of a strong connection that's kept from being absolute due to pain, loneliness, want and fear. Black's inability to open up fully is gut wrenching. I could feel my heart breaking along with his and Aubrey's.

The bond that Black and Aubrey form over parks is important. I love the conversation of people not pausing to notice the beauty and not appreciating the work that's done to create such beauty. This is extremely true and profound.

Overall, this is a tale of a closed off man learning to open his heart again. Black's past has left him just surviving, but Aubrey's love can help him to actually live again.

Loving Him is an accomplished story addressing the power of grief, guilt and loss, as well as the power of love. I'm extremely impressed with this debut novel by Drea Roman, and I'm excited to see what else this author comes up with in the future.
