Damn, Two Minutes is an amazing addition to the Tripping series by Ariel Bishop. A second chance romance, it's entertaining with some poignant themes.

Cisco and Leo get their second chance years after they played together when younger. Thus their story contains explanations, apologies, and forgiveness. And I loved it all! 

It's a story of understanding and taking chances. I love the exploration of the change in both men over the years. Love that they need to re-discover one another, as they definitely aren't who they used to be. 

This is a story of mental illness, a story of letting go of the past and looking towards a happier future. Full of the pain, hurt, and guilt. This story excellently explores the impact of parental pressure and the struggle of dealing with stress. It's an amazing aspect to this story, and the author excels in it's illustration.

And I can't adore Cisco any more than I do. He calls his mom "Mommy." Omg, just melt my heart with all the sweetness!

The author expertly uses flashbacks, as well as conversations, to develop the past. The author's writing style is great, with fascinating characters, a compelling storyline, and amazing development.  

Two Minutes is an amazing book. Starting with Book One, Softs Hands, I love Ariel Bishop's Tripping series. As I somehow missed Book three, I am off to find that now!

REVIEW: My Rating: 5 stars! Three Man Advantage is a perfect addition to the Tripping series by Ariel Bishop. The story is fantastic. Sasha and Bo are best friends, who are also secretly lovers. When they sense that their teammate David needs help dealing with his stress, they invite him to join them in the bedroom. David has always dreamed of being with them, so he jumps at the opportunity. Things in the bedroom are HOT and steamy! And for David, this is everything he's ever dreamed. He knows it won't last though, but it tries to enjoy it while it does. What he doesn't anticipate is Sasha and Bo wanting it to last. I seriously love this book. I am a big fan of MMM, and this is up there with the best of them. I love that they are all best friends and then lovers. The love and care they all have for each other is tender and sweet. They all want to pleasure the others and to give them what they need. It is very touching. Of course, I also love it because it's a hockey romance. And what's better than two hockey players together? Three hockey players together! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a MMM romance! I know I will be reading it again!

REVIEW

I love a good romance involving hockey players.  And this one did not disappoint.

In the beginning, Jordan has a big crush on Xander, which isn't easy to handle at times since he is a massage therapist for Xander's hockey team.  

When Xander asks him out, Jordan says no.  He knows that Xander is a big flirt, who sleeps around a lot, and never does repeats.  He does not want to be stuck working with Xander after being a one night stand.  Jordan is looking for someone to marry and have kids with.  Xander is not.

When Xander's friends suggest he just be friends with Jordan, he agrees.  And they start to hang out a lot.   Eventually, they start sleeping together.   Xander still thinks they are just a short term thing.  He isn't looking for love.

In the end, he discovers that he is demi-sexual.  And now that he has gotten to be so close to Jordan, he is falling in love with him.

I found this book to be very good.  It flowed well, the sex was hot, and I was really routing for their relationship to work.

I also really enjoyed the secondary characters, Xander's two best friends.  They provided some great humor and insight into Xander's life.
