The Fake Prince Jake by Geoffrey Knight

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

A pretend prince, a crazy king and a daring royal ruse that may or may not lead to true love… what could possibly go wrong?

Far too busy with his career to barely look twice at the hot barista who makes his coffee every morning – let alone ever dream of having a love life of his own – events manager Oliver Albright commits all his time and energy to the PR company that keeps the British Royal Family in the business of, well, being royal. But when he is charged with the job of finding the wayward Prince Jacob of Nottingham and escorting him to the tiny medieval kingdom of Zsnovania, Oliver must throw his run sheets out the window and pull off the greatest royal bluff of the century in order to prevent the utterly bonkers King Zorg of Zsnovania from declaring war on England.

With the help of his trusty assistant Audrey, his recently separated mother Judy, and a sexy American barista with an uncanny likeness to the missing prince, Oliver finds himself embroiled in the craziest quest of his career, all the while falling head over heels in love with…

The Fake Prince Jake.

The Fake Prince Jake is a 65k-word, laugh-out-loud, royal rom-com filled with fairytale romance, crazy capers and a zany cast of supporting characters. Expect to be swept off your feet but be sure to avoid the woofenschlok!

My Rating - 5 Stars!

The Fake Prince Jake is a delightful romantic comedy by Geoffrey Knight. Every moment of this tale is fun and makes me smile.

From the start, this story grabbed my attention, and left me rushing to finish it in one sitting.

Oliver and fake Jake are fabulous together. I love the way the story develops, with the slow burn romance taking a back seat to the hilarity.

Oliver is funny as can be. He's so damn oblivious to the flirting. But he takes a back seat to some others.

I love the setting and all the charming secondary characters. Oliver's mother. King Zorg. And more. Everyone had me laughing out loud throughout.

The writing is fantastic. I love the fast paced storyline and all the things involved.

The Fake Prince Jake is non stop entertainment. I love this Geoffrey Knight gem. Be sure to pick this one up the next time you're in the mood for a feel good romance with plenty of laughs. You won't regret it.

One In A Million by Geoffrey Knight

Best friends Jesse and Dax struggle to make ends meet, and while their dog grooming business might be a hit with the wealthy housewives of Las Vegas, it’ll never be enough to make their dreams of running a shelter for homeless dogs come true.

But when a lucky win on the slot machines lands them a cool million bucks, life suddenly takes a turn for the better. There’s just one thing, however, that money can’t buy—true love.

Can two best friends see past their million dollar windfall to admit they’ve been in love with each other all these years? Will the demands of their families destroy their dreams and drive a wedge between them forever? Or will Jesse and Dax discover that money means nothing when you’ve already found your one in a million.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

One in a Million is part sweet friends to lovers romance and part agony by Geoffrey Knight.

Jesse has been in love with his best friend Dax since they met. When we meet the men, they are roommates and business partners. They aren't romantically involved, but already act as a couple, always thinking in "we," not "I." Honestly, it's almost unreal the way they share everything, but they do and it makes for an unbreakable connection.

I had tears in my eyes when Jesse won the money, and my heart beat faster when they admit their feelings to each other.

Dax's motivation is well developed and his hesitation is fully illustrated. I just want to hug and protect him.

But omg, the emotions are insane with this one. My heart stopped beating when the angst coming full force. I was furious, crying for Jesse.

Written in Jesse's first person pov, the characters and story fully come alive. I enjoy the way the author introduces the characters in current times, and then brings their past to life with Jesse's retelling of events. And even better, Jesse's retelling of events continues to tease us with the future.

A large part of the story revolves around Dax's brother suffering from Huntington's disease. I don't personally know anything about Huntington's disease other than that it is horrible. I can't attest to the accuracy of the author's illustration of it, but it is all written with care and compassion.

One in a Million is a riveting tale, full of hope, despair, and love. Geoffrey Knight left me speechless through much of this journey. And if I ever meet him face to face, I will be yelling at him for the agony he put me through with this one.

RELEASE BLITZ, EXCERPT & REVIEW - The Chocolate Works by Geoffrey Knight

Title: The Chocolate Works
Author: Geoffrey Knight
Series: Standalone
Genre: Gay Romance
Tropes: Opposites Attract, Romantic Comedy, Foodie Romance
Release Date: July 10, 2020
Formats Available: Ebook, Paperback, Kindle Unlimited

Henry Dawson knew that Levi Jones was his complete opposite from the moment they met. After all, what on earth could a nerdy, slightly neurotic risk assessment analyst like Henry possibly have in common with a wild, passionate and sexy chocolate-maker like Levi? The answer is, more than Henry could ever have imagined.

Henry Dawson lives a quiet life of perfect order and routine. His job as a cross-checker at a Chicago-based risk assessment firm means there’s no detail unmissed, no error unfixed and no room in his world for curve balls. That is until the day he loses his job, finds out his apartment building has been condemned, and receives an inheritance from an uncle he never even knew he had.

Now with no job, no home and no hope for the future, Henry suddenly finds himself in the tiny dead-end town of Los Encantado in the middle of the New Mexico desert, ready to sell the small roadside diner bequeathed to him by the uncle he never met. Given the circumstances, what choice does he have but to offload the diner—operated by waffle-loving Doris Day fan, Gracie Garcia—in an effort to try and fund his way back to his old life in Chicago?

But Henry was never planning on the arrival of wild, passionate and incredibly sexy Levi Jones. Nor was he ready for Levi’s crazy plan to turn Gracie’s Diner into the greatest Chocolate Works the world has ever known. For Levi claims to be the country’s finest chocolatier… or is he?

Before he knows it, Henry is pulled into Levi’s plan to create the most delicious, irresistible, mouth-watering, knee-buckling chocolates the world has ever imagined. At the same time Henry finds himself falling head over heels for the reckless, romantic allure of a man who is the complete opposite of everything Henry holds sacred.

Will Henry succumb to the charms of a handsome stranger despite every instinct warning him that Levi is nothing but a snake oil salesman? Will the secrets of Levi’s past destroy Henry’s hopes of ever finding true romance?

Or is Levi destined to melt Henry’s heart as he discovers that chocolate truly is the food of love?

The Chocolate Works is a mouth-watering 85K-word standalone opposites-attract gay romantic comedy. Warning: Reading this book WILL make you crave your absolute favorite chocolates and demand you indulge in them while you read… one delicious, delectable, discipline-crushing mouthful at a time.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

The Chocolate Works is a powerful book by Geoffrey Knight. It's slow going but it's meaningful and packs a punch in the end.

The New Mexico setting is extremely well written. One can feel the town, with it's good and bad, as if they are there. The natives, traditions, beliefs, and culture are all well illustrated as well.

Henry's a man who's driven to NM out of desperation. Instead of finding the land he inherited and selling it, he finds the meaning to life, great friends, and love.

Levi's a drifter. At first, he comes off as just strange, with a simplistic speech pattern and a unique way of looking at life. In the end, he's a fascinating character who fully comes to life.

This is a tale full of surprises and a rare gift of making amazing chocolate. There are some serious twists and turns that I never saw coming.

The beginning of this story took me while to get through. The pace, the oddness of Levi, and the way Levi spoke all turned me off a bit. But then, wow, the story starts to set in and the things we discover made me more intrigued. I knew this book would remind me of the author's profound The Pearl.

The life lessons that are told in this story are extraordinary, and the story is beautiful in the way it unfolds.

In other words, The Chocolate Works is another magnificent book by Geoffrey Knight. He once again impresses me with the depth of the life lessons in this tale.

Chocolate, like the tender and tangled entwine of two lovers, must be many things—
It must be sweet and delicate, yet knowing of the power—and sometimes the balance—that its own darkness and bitterness can bring;
It must grant us the illusion, if only for a moment, that we are made wealthy by its richness, wicked by its decadence, and forgiven of all our sins in its utter purity;
It must be solid and firm, yet versatile enough to soften its edges and melt with grace when the moment is right;
It must bring comfort in hard times, abundance in lean times, and happiness in lonely times;
It must be made with hands that are strong yet gentle with their touch, watched over by eyes that are observant and careful in their measurement, and created by souls that have known and will never forget a need that must be fulfilled.
But most important of all—chocolate must be made with love.
For chocolate is love.
And love conquers all.
These are the things I learned from Levi Jones, a man as reckless and wild as he was passionate and kind; a man whose creative genius was matched only by his mystery; a man who added the dash of hope, the dollop of love and the sprinkling of surprises that would change my life forever.

Geoffrey Knight excels in writing some delicious taboo romances. The Pathfinders is just that!

Jack, who's newly divorced, turns to his best friend and cousin Hux, for support. Their story is one of years of secret attraction, intense connections, and of course a taboo relationship.

The author is wonderful as usual. The characters are well developed, the pace flows perfectly, and the intense emotions are front and center throughout. His use of humor always makes me smile. But more than anything, the romance is developed in a riveting manner, leaving the reader fully invested in their every move.

I love everything about this Geoffrey Knight gem. The Pathfinders is sweet, romantic, and steamy all rolled into one delicious tale.

Be My Valentine, Bobby Bryson, is a sweet, simple story by Geoffrey Knight. Mikey's adorable, and so darn loving. But, the homophobia around him is horrific. It's a beautiful story of friendship, family, and hope. The lesson in the end will leave you smiling! It's not a romance, but it's a fabulous story!

Untangling Tristan by Geoffrey Knight

Blurb

Tristan Tate’s only Christmas Wish was wishing that Christmas would go away! It’s not that Tristan is any sort of Grinch, he’s simply… busy! Busy wooing clients, busy pitching deals and way too busy to put up Christmas lights.

So it’s just as well that Tristan—unbeknownst to him—has someone making his Christmas Wishes for him.

Enter Gabe, a handsome electrician willing to do more than simply help Tristan put up his Christmas lights to please his elderly and eternally grateful neighbors.

Will Tristan let this Christmas race by him like all the others? Or will this racy Christmas Eve be the first of many to come?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Untangling Christmas is a fun Christmas novella by Geoffrey Knight.

Tristan's going crazy, as his days are too busy, too full. To say he's stressed about Christmas is putting it lightly.

Then he meets Gabe, a hot electrician who he hires. Soon, he's destressing as he hooks up with Gabe.

Since it's a short story, of only 32 pages, we don't get much more than their hook-up. But, it's a fun hook-up.

My favorite part of their story is the elderly neighbors. They are so cute and funny!

Will Matt let his feelings of uselessness and self-doubt lead him forever into the Forest of Darkness… or will this Christmas open his eyes to the magical truth that it is indeed a wonderful life?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

The
Billionaire's Wish is a wonderful treat by Geoffrey Knight.

This time around, we follow as Matt is depressed about his lack of success with his writing. We get to follow Matt, Cal and their zany adopted family on a Christmas vacation. While there, Matt experiences a Christmas Carol type adventure to help him reevaluate his life.

It is so much fun to be back with Matt and Cal. They are hysterical together, as usual, and so darn entertaining. I love this series. Absolutely love it!

Matt and Cal continue to have their usual banter and wit, keeping me laughing out loud way too often.

Thank you Geoffrey Knight for The Billionaire's Wish and the entire series!
