Valor: The Complete Duology by Keira Andrews

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Forbidden love in the White House—read the complete action-packed romance!

He’d give his life to protect the president’s son. But he never expected to risk his heart.

Growing up gay in the White House hasn’t been easy for Rafael Castillo. Codenamed “Valor” by the Secret Service, Rafa feels anything but brave as he hides in the closet and tries to stay below the radar in his last year of college.

It’s definitely not part of Rafa’s plan to get a hot new Secret Service agent, but he’s made it this long dateless and innocent, keeping his desires strictly to himself. Besides, it’s not like Shane Kendrick would even look at him twice if it wasn’t his job.

While protecting the president’s shy, boring son isn’t Shane's dream White House assignment, it’s an easy enough task since no one pays Rafa much attention. He discovers there’s a vibrant young man beneath the timid public shell, and while he knows Rafa has a crush on him, he assures himself it’s harmless. Shane’s never had room for romance in his life, and he’d never cross that line with a protectee.

But he's never been tempted like this before.

Even if Shane and Rafa can run away together, will their forbidden love survive in the real world?

Read Valor on the Move and Test of Valor in one convenient collection!

Valor: The Complete Duology by Keira Andrews is a collection of two M/M bodyguard gay romances featuring an age difference, Jane Austen levels of pining, first times, forbidden love against the odds, and of course a happy ending.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Valor: The Complete Duology is a fabulous read by Keira Andrews. I am thrilled that these books are being re-released in this duology, as I loved them when I first read them years ago.

This is forbidden romance at it's finest, with the President's son falling for his bodyguard. Cue all the feels. I love the way the two slowly connect, despite knowing they shouldn't. They bond on a level a bodyguard shouldn't bond with his charge. And it's awesome!

There's plenty of intrigue, danger, and action. This is Washington after all. There's romance, politics, and plenty of sexual connection. And, of course, with his dad being in the White House, Rafa has been hiding his sexuality.

Their story also includes grief and loss, and learning to make the most out of one's life. This part is wonderfully done.

I enjoy the forbidden aspect a lot, as it certainly leads to some interesting things once they are outed. I also enjoy the complex nature of the family issues.

I don't want to give everything away, but the two fight hard to be together and to be accepted among Rafa's family and Shane's colleagues. Both men get a chance for happiness and fully embrace this opportunity.

Valor: The Complete Duology is a fabulous bodyguard romance. I enjoy every moment of this Keira Andrews gem. The relationship, as well as the political factor are riveting. If you haven't yet read this one, do yourself a favor and set some time aside for it.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Bossy is a wonderful standalone romance by NR Walker.

Ohhh...two hot men, weekly hookups, and totally anonymous. Hell yes. Until things get more personal, as the fuck buddies get to know one another better.

I love Michael and Bryson and their story.
They start off with the agreement to work once a week. I absolutely love the names they call one another in their phones. "Bossy as fuck" and "Sexy and Fuck." Just pure entertainment around this, as it's on par with their typical banter.

And then they end up meeting over a business deal. Enter the craziness of being involved with someone casually and then being thrown into the shock of their world.

So we have casual to boyfriends. Nameless hookups to business associates. So much fun as they fall in love with their no strings attached hook up.

I adore these men together, especially the way they support one another, helping each other to be the best person they can be. It's perfect.

There's plenty of obstacles for these men though, including family issues and family pressure. Dear lord, I hate Michael's father.

As usual, I love the author's writing style. Written in alternating pov, the characters are intriguing, the storyline entertaining, and the pace is seamless. The secondary characters are charming and add a lot to the story as well.

And, ohhh how I love the way the author brings Sydney to life. As I miss that city so much, it's beautiful to read about the charm of Darling Harbour, and of Circular Quay, York Street, the QVB, and more. I love that city and the author fully brings me back to walking those wonderful streets. I am beyond grateful.

Overall, Bossy is a delightful romance. I love everything about this NR Walker gem. Once again she's impressed me with this sweet and fun hookup to lovers romance.

She is many things: a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who live in her head, who don’t let her sleep at night unless she gives them life with words.

She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things… but likes it even more when they fall in love.

She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.

Trusting Him
Bromley Brothers Book 1
by Laura N. Andrews

This out and proud event coordinator is about to pursue a man he knows could break his heart. But David Rossi isn’t a man he can stay away from.

Event coordinator Trey Bromley is the youngest of three brothers and is out and proud. The last thing he’s looking for is a man who doesn’t know what he wants.

After a chance meeting with David Rossi, a security guard who has recently discovered his bisexuality, Trey begins to question exactly what he wants and how much he’s prepared to bend his own rules.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Book One in The Bromley Brothers Series is Trusting Him. This Laura N Andrews tale is set in Perth, Australia, which immediately caught my attention.

Trey and David are a great couple, whose hookup leads to so much more. Their fantastic story is one of finding someone to love and trust after having your trust broken. It's a tough road for them, but it's worth all of it.

It's a fun and sexy tale. The characters are great and well developed. I love the plot and the pace flows nicely. It also has some great secondary characters. All of the Bromley Brothers are interesting, entertaining, and funny. I love the sense of family.

Trusting Him is a quick, short read. It's sweet, with just a little light angst. It's perfect when you're in the mood for a good, quick romance.

Healing Him
Bromley Brothers Book 2

An intense, sexy, and heartfelt gay BDSM romance.”
“The perfect amount of hotness!”
“A baring of souls… beautiful.”

Henry Bromley wants to find not only the perfect submissive, but he’s also searching for love. When he meets Ryan Scott, a man who seems to take control, Henry is conflicted.

However, when passion and lust ignite a spark and their flame is lit, Henry discovers there’s no turning back. He wants Ryan.

Ryan Scott has fought hard to protect himself and his desires. With his wounds freshly opened, Ryan has to make a choice: submit to Henry and allow himself to heal or continue to live the lie he’s created for himself.

Will this Dom help his sub fly? And if trust is broken, can it truly ever be healed?

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Healing Him, a fun BDSM romance, is the second in the Bromley Brothers series by Laura N Andrews.

Ryan and Henry make for an entertaining couple. Henry's a Dom who takes an instant liking to Ryan. It's sad from the start that Ryan's nervous and can't trust, after obviously being hurt in the past.

When they do start spending time together, things heat up fast. They have such a strong connection that Henry has to have Ryan even if he's not allowed to dominate. I love that Henry enjoys having Ryan on top of him, despite being the dom. It's a fun and refreshing twist.

Their story is a great tale of wanting to submit, but fearing it; of healing and allowing someone to dominate you again. And in the meanwhile, finding love. It's fast paced, steamy, and a lot of fun. It's also serious as Ryan has both physical and emotional scars.

Seriously though, there's not much hotter than a dom willing to bottom, and the feelings this evokes. Their emotional connection is amazing and they make for a wonderful couple.

I definitely recommend Healing Him, and am hoping there's many more books in this series.

Canadian born Laura N. Andrews moved to Australia when she was three years old. When she finished high school, she successfully completed her studies in law enforcement. Since then, she's been working for over eight years as a pharmacy assistant. When she's not working or spending time with family and friends, you can find her either curled up with a book or writing one of her own.

His friends may be settling down, but Jordan’s had enough of planning weddings. All he wants is some fun, and Félix is the perfect person for that… even if he is his boss’s brother.

Neither of them want commitment, but neither of them can resist their connection. While Félix is forced to deal with his past, Jordan must face his worst fears. Will they put their hearts on the line for one final score?

Final Score is a 77,000-word contemporary gay romance featuring an age gap relationship, hidden restaurants, unicorn slime and a public declaration of love. It is book three in the Off the Pitch series and should be read as part of the series.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Final Score, the third book in Charlie Novak's Off the Pitch series, is an awesome out for you romance.

If you appreciate books that start with a hook-up, you'll enjoy this hot one. Jordan's a closeted bisexual football/soccer player. After hooking up with the wealthy Felix in a hotel bar, suddenly everything changes. As they end up seeing one another again, things get more personal. And I genuinely love it all.

Jordan and Felix make a cute couple with an alluring fifteen year age gap. Their relationship is intriguing as they go from hooking up to falling in love, despite neither wanting a relationship at the start.

Distance makes for a entertaining factor in this story, as one is from London, the other from Australia.

I love the writing, which is no surprise, as this whole series is splendid. Both men are well explored, both as individuals and as a couple. The character development is supreme, the pace is pleasant, and the steam is dazzling. The banter is amusing, especially Felix's antics with his nieces.

Final Score is a great romance by Charlie Novak. This is a perfect book when you're in the mood for a feel good read. Despite dealing with some tough issues, the overall feel is light. In fact, the whole series is well worth a read, so be sure to check it out.

How do you build a relationship without honesty?

To care for his teenage sister and her newborn baby, Ben Sinclair gave up his carefree university student life, playing gigs with a band, and his boyfriend Wyatt, who he thought was the love of his life. Handling a breakup, bills, and a baby is bad enough. Then Ben discovers Wyatt was cheating on him their whole relationship, and everyone knew but Ben.

Finding out his ex wasn’t quite as honest as he thought shatters Ben’s confidence, but it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have time to do anything other than work, babysit, and stress over bills anyway.

When Ben starts a new job at a hotel and meets Eric, he begins to dream of a better life. Eric is hot, charming and funny. He’s also straight… or so Ben believes. Eric is everything Ben ever wanted but couldn’t possibly have.
Eric helps Ben find his footing and rediscover his passions. But when Ben discovers Eric has been lying to him all along about who he really is, can Ben ever forgive him? Or were they doomed from the start?

No matter what else happens, Ben vows never to make the mistake of falling for someone who lies again. There is no way he’d make that mistake a second time, right?

Honesty is a contemporary MM romance novel with some adult scenes and is not suitable for young readers

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Sandy Smith's Honesty: Ben & Eric is super sweet from the start. The second book in the Six Degrees series it's easily read as a standalone.

Ben and Eric are two men who meet at work and a friendship is born. These two are complete opposites, upping the fun factor.

Ben is tasked with raising his younger sister and her infant. He has major trust issues, after his lying ex cheated on him, and this is a main theme throughout.

Their story is one that includes issues with one's own pride and work problems, It's a story of learning that love and support is what is most important in life.

Making things even better, it's set in Australia. I love, love, love the Sydney mentions and how often the characters traverse the city.

My favorite scene is actually the review scene. So damn funny. And then there are amazingly tender moments like the way Eric cares for baby Rory.

Told in first person pov, the writing is fantastic. The writer's voice, tone, and story line kept me intrigued throughout. Written with heart, humor, and passion, the author had me experiencing everything first hand. There are some great twists and turns thrown in, which keeps the reader intrigued as well.

Honesty: Ben & Eric is completely charming. This Sandy Smith tale is a beautiful read full of inspiring character growth. I wish I could just live in this world.

Review
My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

I have a love/hate relationship with Lexxie Couper's Unforgettable, the second book in the Always series.

The book consumed me, no doubt about that, as I couldn't put it down. But, damn, I really wanted to smack Amanda. Not only for what she did, but also for how long it takes her to tell Brendon everything. Her hesitation, and keeping him waiting, waiting, and waiting, drove me insane.

But the book is riveting. There's so much to love about it. We get a beautiful happily ever after ending, with a tender and sweet second chance romance. And as for that secret, I love it. This part is precious, loveable, and absolutely heartbreaking.

The writing is great. It's just some of the storyline I got annoyed with.

Overall, I highly recommend Unforgettable. It's entertaining, emotional, and romantic.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Unconditional is a great read by Lexxie Couper.

Maci's in Australia for a semester studying koalas. She's a complex character who's greatly influenced by the fact that she has Parkinson's disease. She dislikes when people treat her differently, or want to help her. She doesn't want to ever be in a serious relationship, and she doesn't expect to let someone love her in the long run. I love her.

Ralph is a student who's famous by family relations, is pursued by the paps, and is controlled by the Royal family. His storyline is absolutely riveting. As for his family, the are amazing. I love everything about them as they are completely low-key and down to earth.

This is an emotional story, and together Maci and Ralph are an amazing couple. They have good conflict, but are extremely loving and loyal. Their story is one  with family issues that keep the tension high.

A complex and serious storyline, the author does a great job with all the topics involved. The writing is great, with the author excelling with dialogue. The plot is deep as well as romantic. There's the addition of some light-hearted humor to help lighten things up. I really love Australian romances, so this one hit me with all the feels. Sydney University. Koalas. Farm stays. Weather issues. I love it all.

Unconditional is a story of fighting for love. Damn, I love Ralph's determination to get his girl. Lexxie Couper definitely kept me intertained throughout, and had me falling hard for Ralph.

International bestselling romance author Lexxie Couper started writing when she was six and hasn't stopped since. She's not a deviant, but she does have a deviant's imagination and a desire to entertain readers with her words.
