My Rating - 5 Stars!

Blake Roland's Radiant, is the perfect start to season four of the multiple author Men of Hidden Creek series. It's immediately riveting and entertaining.

Thomas and Dalton have a long, ugly history. Back in their high school days, Dalton sat by and watched while Thomas was bullied. Now Thomas is back in town and he's about to discover that Dalton isn't what he thought. The years have matured these two and they are finally able to talk and be civil to each other.

This is a wonderful enemies to lovers romance. Adding to it's charm is the setting of Hidden Creek, and specifically the Reed and Powell ranches. The small town feel is there in spades, exploring how everyone knows everyone else's business.

Thomas and Dalton are two loveable main characters. Their story contains explanations and understanding, forgiveness and acceptance, attraction and chemistry. They try to not only ignore their old family feud, but to overcome it. It's not an easy road, but it's a whole lot of fun along the way.

Their story includes homophobia, judgements, and jealousy. It's a story of two men who both suffered in their small town while growing up. One suffered publicly, the other in silence. I love how it explored that not everything is as it seems, that even those who seem to have everything aren't always happy. It's a wonderful story of fear and regret.

The writing is great, with some good humor, and a whole crew of enjoyable characters. The development is well done, and the pace is just right. And if you like good chemistry, you'll love these two together. The family feud is done in a realistic way, adding some good mystery to the story. And the author excels with the descriptive scenery.

Overall, Radiant is a great story of putting the past behind you. It's a beautiful story of redemption and second chances in life. And it ends with a terrific epilogue. It's sweet and tender, with just the right amount of angst. I highly recommend this adorable feel-good read. I love this entire series!

Forever Home (Creature Comforts #1) by Blake Roland

Blurb

Luis Russell is used to being abandoned. Disowned by his homophobic family and struggling to make ends meet, his best (and only) friends are the dogs he helps rescue at Creature Comforts Animal Sanctuary. The lure of one perfect Cinderella evening as a handsome executive’s pretend boyfriend comes as a much-needed break from his life of loneliness and stress, and Luis can’t bring himself to refuse such an invitation. But Luis’ heart yearns for it to be more than just make-believe.

Samir Mannan never expected to love again. Still mourning the loss of his late husband, Samir is under pressure to prove he’s strong enough to run his family’s company. An upcoming charity gala is the perfect opportunity to fix his reputation, if only he can find a date. Sweet, shy Luis is the answer to his problems… if Samir can resist falling for him.

Their fairy tale could become reality, but the hurts both men have suffered might be too much for them to overcome. If they are to bridge the gap between their two worlds and find the space between their differences in which love can grow, first they will have to learn to heal each other’s hearts.
Forever Home is the first book in the Creature Comforts series about men finding love in unexpected places alongside their adorable furry friends. It has a guaranteed HEA and no cliffhanger. Forever Home features a senior rescue dog with the heart of a puppy, an interfering personal assistant who wants her boss to love again, and two men whose healing is only the beginning of their journey.

Blake Roland's Forever Home is a sweet and tender romance.

It involves second chances at love, and moving on from the loss of a lover.

Samir's background is heart-breaking and will have you falling in love with him. He's just a shadow of the man he once was, but it's not easy to let himself love again.

Of course, they have some major obstacles in their way. Doubts, fears, and meddling, as well as memories.

The animal shelter moments are so damn sad, so be warned if shelter animals are a trigger for you.

A surprise entry in a dating auction leads to amazing things for Luis.

Ultimately, Forever Home's a beautiful story of healing through love. I definitely enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who likes a good love story that has animals. Be sure to check it out when you're looking for a sweet read.

Melody is Blake Roland's contribution to the third season of the Men Of Hidden Creek series by various authors.

After having his wedding called off, Zach is struggling, just trying to find some confidence and strength to move forward. Soon he agrees to a blind date with Shane, who's just come out as bisexual.

They struggle with their fears and feelings for each other, while also have to deal with homophobia and transphobia. But together they strive to make the town a more accepting place, which is charming and heart-warming.

One wonderful theme in this romance is that you need to make trouble and cause up a stir to make progress. So damn true! And this is written into Melody perfectly!

REVIEW
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Allure is a perfect addition to the multi-authored Men Of Hidden Creek series, with this one by Blake Roland.

Blake has managed to perfectly capture the wonderfulness of Hidden Creek, with fantastic characters and all the small town charm.

I can't quite put into words how much I feel for Grayson. He's a young man, burdened with a lot of family issues. As the sole caregiver for his disabled sister, he's struggling with the burden of trying to pay her medical bills. I could not help but to instantly fall for this man!

He agrees to be a pretend week-long wedding date for Andre, as this money he's being paid will help a lot.

As for Andre, I didn't love him in the beginning, but he certainly ends up being a wonderful guy, and so darn good with Grayson.

Their story contains misunderstandings, betrayal, mystery and more, as it holds up perfectly to the sweetness and charm of the rest of the series.

I am thrilled with this new Hidden Creek book, Allure, by Blake Roland, as I suggest to check out all of the books if you haven't yet.
