Coldburgh Train Station (Researchers In Paranormal Phenomenon #1) by Michele Notaro & Sammi Cee

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Do you hear bumps in the night? Get unexplained chills? Feel like someone’s watching you when you’re all alone? Don’t stay scared! Shoot RIPP a message for all your spooktacular needs!

Dane

I only go along with Rory and Thad’s crazy plan of checking out an abandoned train station because they seem so excited, and I honestly don’t care what we do for our film class project. Transferring colleges was supposed to be my escape from reality, anyway, so there’s no harm in doing a little ghost hunting, right? It’s not like we’ll find anything. I really just want to go through the motions, but these guys have a way of making me care—ugh. Even Rory’s older brother is able to get under my skin in ways I wish he couldn’t. I should stay away, but his sweet and caring nature keeps pulling me in—damn him.

Brooks

Helping Rory and Thad with RIPP is just something I do to spend time with them. Bless their little hearts, they really believe in ghosts and are determined to prove it to the world. When Dane gets assigned to their group for their class project, my worry they won’t need me anymore is overshadowed by my desire to spend as much time as possible getting to know the mysterious new man. I get my wish when we have an encounter that seems… unbelievable. As scary as it is, my life becomes less aimless when Dane and I team up to protect my brother and his best friend when they insist on returning to the train station again... and again.

What happens when two men experience something no one else sees? Can they stay alive long enough to fall in love or is seeing what lives at Coldburgh Train Station the beginning of the end?

Coldburgh Train Station is book one in the RIPP (Researchers In Paranormal Phenomenon) series. It’s a 90K word standalone MM romance with spooky fun, cute guys, apparitions, a hyper younger brother that won’t stay away from the coffee pot, a friend that cares way too much about his tan, spirits, a crazy mom, amazing friendships, love, and did we mention ghosts?

Intended for audiences 18 years and older.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Coldburg Train Station is the first book in the Researchers in Paranormal Phenomenon series. This Michele Notaro and Sammi Cee gem is perfect for fans of paranormal light.

I am not a big fan of paranormal books. Not at all. But give me a good paranormal light romance and I am all over it. And this book is just that.

I rarely talk about covers, but I have to address this one. It is simply perfect for this book. It had me intrigued and assuming it would be light and cute, as opposed to scary and deep.

Then I started reading. The writing is wonderful, with lots of humor sprinkled throughout. The characters are well developed and the storyline is riveting. I was instantly invested.

I love the men and their journey. It's a fabulous college romance centered around a fun ghost story. I love it all.

The ghost story aspect is a fabulous mix of creepy and entertaining. It's full of humor, as well as serious moments. I adore the You Tube channel and it's fan base.

And then there's the layers. This tale addresses some serious issues. It's about accepting that one can love after loss. It's about accepting that it's okay to live fully after losing someone.

Overall, Coldburgh Train Station is a wonderful read. The authors team up perfectly to create this charming story.

___________________________________________________________________________

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Kamari is the third book in the Takoda Outreach Center series. This Sammi Cee series is amazing! Kamari is not exactly a standalone, so I actually quickly devoured the previous books, starting with Heavenly Melody, to get caught up. And I do not regret it at all. I only regret that I didn't discover this series sooner.

The series is full of heartfelt tales surrounding a soup kitchen, the men that run the center, the men that use the center, and all the inspirational changes that come to the center and the men.

Kamari is a quick read that is totally riveting. Kamari takes in Lachlan to help him have a place to stay. Ends up the two aren't just compatible in living together, but they are also extremely hot for one another.

This is a story with an alcoholic and abusive father that is tough to read at times. Luckily there isn't too much time spent on the details.

I enjoy the dynamics with the men and the fear of telling Kamari's brother that they're together. Of course, that scene is awesome!

The story itself continues in the tradition of the rest of the series. I love all the people involved in the center, and the beautiful ways in which everyone has changed since book one.

Kamari is one of those books I had to read in one sitting. I seriously can't recommend this Sammi Cee series enough. The writing is great, the storylines are heartfelt and emotional, and the ongoing aspect of the center is compelling. Just read them all! You won't regret it.

Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.

These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.

_________________________________________________________________

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Loving Logan is a sweet and tender romance. This Sammi Cee novella is part of the Writing Our Love series, but is easily read as a standalone.

Logan is a wonderfully dynamic man. He's big and tough looking with his tattoos. But he's anything but. After losing his best friends, he's now raising their 2 year old, Jakey.

Creed hasn't been in an openly gay relationship before, but he's smitten with the hot bartender and can't resist him. Cue all the feelings, as he's relentless in his pursuit, and he's wonderful with Jakey.

Seriously, Creed's interactions with Logan and Jakey will win your heart. He oozes self confidence and knows just how to win them over. It's genuine and completely loving.

The best part of this story is the character growth. Both men have their share of issues that are holding them back. But, with friendship, trust and love, both men change for the better.

Their relationship is heavy on the chemistry, with some hot talk and some sex toys. There's some tattoos and the most adorable child ever.

Written in alternating 1st person pov, the reader is brought into the men's emotions, completely feeling everything along with them. The characters are well developed, the pace is great, and the romance is just perfect.

Loving Logan is a beautiful story! You can't go wrong with this Sammi Cee tale that is 110 pages of sweetness. I couldn't devour it fast enough!

“You don’t have to. Bobby, the other bartender, is one of the best, and if he says he’s got it, he does. I’ll be heading out shortly.”

Creed—not that I’d needed him to introduce himself, I’d caught his name hours ago—shrugged his broad shoulders and eased onto the stool. “Well, humor me. You finish what you’re doing, and I’ll walk you out.”

To hide my confusion, I lifted my lips in my best customer service smile. “Okay, well, let me know if I can get you anything else.”

He waved me off with a grin, so I went about my business cleaning glasses, wiping down the bottles, and restocking things to make the rest of Bobby’s night smoother. The whole time, Creed’s fingers flew across the screen on his phone. Every now and then, he’d groan, but otherwise, he appeared content to just wait. But why? He’d spent a lot of the night standing at the end of the bar. Where others went back and forth from their table to get their drinks, or waited on the waitress, he’d hung out and chatted with whoever happened to walk up. Based on the conversations I’d overheard, socializing and shooting-the-breeze came easily to him. Honestly, it had made the whole night easier for me. People loved to chat up their bartenders, especially the evening crowd, and talking had never been my strong suit.

If I hadn’t overheard his brother and his men—which, how cool was that? A throuple—teasing him repeatedly through the night about how fast he went through women, I’d think maybe he’d stayed to hit on me. Since that didn’t seem to be likely, I had no idea why he patiently sat there, without actually speaking to me, playing on his phone. It seemed odd. I guessed him not staying to pick me up was actually a good thing. While Creed’s spectacular body next to most of his friends had been larger with muscle, my sheer body mass and height made me considerably bigger than him. In my experience, any man with a body that showed plenty of time spent in the gym, when they pursued me, they had only one thing in mind: get held down and fucked hard by the big tattooed guy. So not m—

“You okay over there? I’m pretty sure whatever spilled, you got it.”

Creed’s amused voice interrupted my ruminating, pulling me back into the present. I glanced up at him, confused.

He pointed to the broom in my hands. “You’ve been sweeping that same spot for about five minutes.”

“Oh.”My face heated with my embarrassment. “Sorry, I guess I got lost in my head.”

Creed set his phone down on the bartop. “Penny for your thoughts.”

After walking my brother and his men out to their car, I went back to the bar. I had no reason to seek out the gentle giant who’d served us all night, but there was something about him, and I couldn’t leave without at least talking to him. “Did you need something else, sir?” Logan asked politely as I approached where he was cleaning up. “I’m Creed,” I said, extending my hand and flashing the cocky smile that had landed many women in my bed. “Um, Logan.” I resisted saying I know. He dried his hands off quickly on the towel at his side and shook my hand. “Was there a problem tonight?” he asked warily. I casually leaned my elbow onto the chair right in front of him, hoping to relax him. “Not at all. The food was good and the drinks were great. I overheard you and the other bartender talking though, and since you don’t normally work nights and are leaving soon, I thought I’d hang around and keep you company until you’re done.” His whole body startled, pale gray eyes widening and fascinating me further. Why did this man appear so vulnerable and call out to every protective instinct inside of me? For the second time tonight, my pants tightened. Yeah, I wasn’t going anywhere without getting to know the sweet Logan a little better.

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Sometimes all a boy needs is his Daddy.

Davis’s life has been one struggle after another, leaving him nervous and unsure. On the brink of complete poverty, he’s desperate enough to accept a job at a biker bar, even though it terrifies him. It’s not like he has a choice when the hot, older owner is the only one willing to give him a chance.

Sarge has a full life. He’s made his dream of owning a successful bar come true. He has good friends and valuable employees. If he gets a little lonely, it’s easier to just scratch the itch than to put his heart back on the line. At least it was until Davis, constantly looking to him for reassurance, melts through his defenses with his big blue eyes.

When Davis reveals his curiosity about Daddies, will Sarge give into the desire to claim Davis as his boy?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

His Someone Special, by Sammi Cee and Brittany Cournoyer is a fabulous Daddy romance.

First of all, let's talk about the cover. The authors absolutely impress with a hot cover model who will surely catch your attention.

And, wow, if you enjoy character growth, you will love this book. Davis's character growth, as he goes from timid and unconfident to a man who knows what he wants and takes it, is fabulous! That said, it is all done without much angst, but rather is a natural manner. It's a nice, easy read.

This is a story that combines a boss/employee relationship with daddy kink, an age gap, and a difference in social status. It has a biker bar and an a boss who can't help but to be taken with his newest employee. Sarge is a natural caretaker who can't turn the hungry boy away. It's just sweet from the start and never stops being sweet.

The writing is good, with two authors who combine their talents well. Their characters are well developed and absolutely lovable. The depth of Davis' nervousness is extremely well illustrated and just makes him perfectly endearing to the reader. As well, the pace is great and the storyline intriguing. They add in some good secondary characters who help round out the fun

His Someone Special is a must read the next time you're looking for a sweet daddy romance. This is a low angst book that just made me happy.

Liberating Love
Interlocking Fragments Series, Book 3
Sammi Cee & Michele Notaro
M/M Romance

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00018]

Aiden
Finding out the man I slept with is my friend’s father is terrifying, but maybe forgivable since I didn’t know who he was… right? But falling into bed with him again… and again and again is probably not excusable. Maybe if Delaney got rid of his miles of muscles and stopped being so sweet to me, I could stop. I need to stop. If only I had the willpower—or the desire. Delaney is everything I want in a man, but we have no future together, so it can never be more than this. His sons can never find out.
Delaney
Serving time for a crime I didn’t commit wasn’t in my game plan, but I’m out now and determined to live my best possible life. After hooking up with a hot younger man, I regret letting him go without even his name. But then luck is finally with me, and he comes walking into my son’s house. In order to make him mine, I have to be honest with my sons about the past as well as my desire for Aiden. But Aiden’s fear of getting involved is deeper than he’s telling me. He’s hiding something, too.
Will Aiden’s fear of revealing his private life and losing his friends keep him from the man who wants to be his everything or will he allow Delaney to help bear his burden?
Liberating Love is the third book in the Interlocking Fragments series, but is a standalone novel. Each book in the series will feature a different couple, but the couples will show up throughout the whole series. This is a contemporary romance intended for 18+.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Ohhhh...Michele Notaro and Sammi Cee's Liberating Love, the third book in their Interlocking Fragments series, is fabulous!!!!

A hot hook up that ends up being your best friend's father? Yes please!

Aiden and Delaney are damn enjoyable together. A.k.a. "Freckles" and "Old Man," these two are hot from their first hook up, and get even hotter when they get to know one another.

Delaney's newly out of prison, trying to re-establish his life. His issues are well developed and well carried out. The reader is easily able to feel what he's going through. His backstory is extremely well done and very emotional. As for Aiden, well he just happens to be a cop. That's right, he's a cop who falls for an ex con. This definitely ups the fun.

Both men are worth a read, as Delaney's newly out of prison, has some relationship issues to work on with his sons, and finds himself falling for his son's friend. The conflict of best friend's father is well explored, with some good hesitation and doubts. But damn, with a connection like the one they have, they definitely belong together.

Aidan's mother has dementia which is explored in a sweet way. It's touching, emotional, and ultimately beautifully done.

Their relationship contains a strong connection, some hot sex, and lots of sneaking around. There's a lot of guilt, fear, and confusion, as well as family secrets and work issues.

The authors' writing is seamless, with two compelling characters, a fabulous story line, and a whole lot of heat. The characters are heart felt and their relationship is beautiful. As well, I am very impressed with the way the issue of dementia is handled. The authors definitely show a whole lot of care, compassion, and understanding.

Damn, if you love a steamy May to December read, you need to read Liberating Love. This Michele Notaro and Sammi Cee read is totally sweet and feel good and will leave you 100% satisfied.

I lean my elbows on the trunk of Aiden’s car as I wait for him to walk out of the building. With him working with Jovany right now, I know his schedule, which makes tracking him down easy. The only hard part is keeping a lookout to make sure I don’t run into my asshole ex-brother-in-law and his spineless son.

Ahh… there he is. Aiden walks with hunched shoulders as he stares down at his phone. Worry prickles at the back of my neck at how turned into himself he is. He doesn’t look up at the coworkers he passes, nor do they extend a passing word to him. In just his walk to the car I see his isolation, and Jameson’s concern for his friend takes on a whole new level. He’s almost to the car before he sees me, his steps falter and his face pales as he quickly scans the parking lot around us. “What are you doing here?”

“Freckles, I think we need to talk.”

Michele is married to an awesome husband that puts up with her and all the characters in her head--and there are many. They live together in Baltimore, Maryland with their two young boys and two crazy dogs. She grew up dancing and swimming and taught dance--ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, & modern--for ten years before her kids came along. Now she stays home to write about the sexy men in her head and does PTA everything--as long as coffee is involved. Two other tattooed moms run the PTA with her, and though she wants to rip her hair out from it, she still loves it.

Paper Snowflakes (Snowed In - Valentine's Inc. #2) by Sammi Cee

Amazon Link - Available in KU

Blurb

Who knew a white-out could bring two men clarity?

Cameron - There’s something about an older man that drives me wild, but when he’s an amazing father too... swoon-worthy. After avoiding my secret crush for months, Mother Nature steps in and gives me a nudge—the question is, am I brave enough to take my shot?

Ryan - Raising a kindergartener at forty-eight leaves me no time or energy for emotional attachments, just random hook-ups. At least that’s what I think until I get snowed in with the luscious—much younger—teacher.

While snowflakes are falling, there’s a dog to be walked, a snowman to build, and a fire to snuggle by. Maybe finding forever isn’t as complicated as they thought.

Paper Snowflakes is a standalone book in the Snowed In - Valentine’s Inc. series, which are only connected by the same writing prompt.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Paper Snowflakes, Sammi Cee's contribution to the multi-author Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series, is wonderful.

Ryan's background, which includes his ex wife, his son, and the reason he's raising his grandson, is developed in a great manner. It's a serious storyline, yet it's handled without any angst.

Stuart
is a fantastic character; absolutely entertaining and adorable. I enjoy that he's a large part of the story, as it's completely realistic and relateable.

The writing is great, with intriguing characters, a sweet storyline, and some tender romantic moments.

My favorite scene is that which reveals the significance of the title. It's beautiful and memorable.

Paper Snowflakes is a perfect read when you're in the mood for a feel-good, angst free romance. You won't want to miss this sweet and tender Sammi Cee read.
