He Made Me Do It is a fantastic stepbrother romance by Zee Shine Storm. 

And yes, the author had me at stepbrothers!

There's a lot going on in this book. Taboo. Forbidden romance. Illegal work. Risky sex. And plenty of religious homophobia.

The forbidden relationship aspect is the main aspect throughout. First, they are new stepbrothers and that certainly is an issue in itself. But to make matters worse, Zayn is Muslim and is torn between his true feelings and his religious stance on homosexuality. 

This story is tough to read. The tension is large and ever looming throughout. 

But damn it's hot. If you enjoy stepbrother romances, this is a must read. 

Asher is quite badass. He's certainly capable of a lot and very self assured. But poor Zayn struggles with his self esteem and his conscience. 

Overall, I love this book. The boys are so damn good together and you can't help but to root for them to find happiness. I questioned how the author could ever help them find their happily ever after, but damn, they did and it's a fabulous ending.

He Made Me Do It had me engrossed throughout. I couldn't put this book down. This Zee Shine Storm romance is totally compelling and wonderful, yet definitely full of the stress of what's going to happen. I love it!

Feuds and Reckless Fury is awesome from the start. This K Webster enemies to lovers tale had me hooked from page one and I couldn't put it down. 

Ohhh...I love this story. This is one of those delicious reads that had me all consumed throughout. 

Their fathers are long time best friends. But now they are a couple, rocking Canyon's world.

Canyon and Alis hate each other. Canyon's fury at his father is being aimed at Alis and it's war. 

Their tale includes plenty of high school antics, including all the dynamics you'd expect.

But the real story is Canyon and Alis. There's so much angry and hatred. There's rage and sadness. There are family issues galore and Canyon is doing nothing but trying to hurt his father. 

I effin love this book. Everything about it is awesome and works for me. The emotions are front and center throughout. The hatred. The anger. The lust. The tension. The need. The want. The fear. The devastation. Everything just jumps off the pages.

And man, it's effin hot. There are tons of hot sex scenes, with many of them being exceptionally emotional. Wow. Just wow. The sexual tension and chemistry throughout, and the first times, are amazing.

This story has so damn much going on. Soon to be stepbrothers. A mother who's spiraling. Family tension and issues. Friend problems. A sister caught in the middle. An ex girlfriend who's actually fabulous instead of being a bitch. PTSD. Anxiety.  A stalker. Danger. Action. It's emotionally gripping throughout.

I love it all. Feuds and Reckless Fury is a must read for fans of hot high school romances. K Webster impresses, entertains, and delights throughout. I was on the edge of my seat throughout.

The Job is a fabulous romance by Cara Dee. It's part of the Auctioned created world, but it's read as a standalone, as are all of the books in this amazing series. 

I love this book from the start. I think I just connect with the way the author tells a story. And the emotions in this one jump off the pages throughout, which makes for an all consuming read.

Boone and Case are forever linked as they raise Ace together. When the story starts, the two are estranged and raising her separately. Then a job brings the men together. Let the fun begin. 

Their past is complex and their future is up for grabs, if they can sort through all the messy obstacles in their way. I love the connection between the two. Hell, the enemies to lovers element proves the intensity between them. 

They are part of an organized crime family, so the job aspect is full of adventure and risk, yet always sprinkled with humor. I love it. 

Ace. You gotta love Ace. I adore everything about her, including her knowledge of and participation in the family business. And I love how easy going she is with her dads' situation in general. She's spunky, cute, and totally lovable.

I absolutely love the brothers aspect. Love it. They're brothers through adoption, but they're still brothers. So complicated for them and everyone involved. The forbidden aspect is a large part of their problem and it's mesmerizing in the way it all unfolds. 

The second chance aspect of this story is always there, as their love is deep and long lasting. The story clearly establishes the strength of their love and the natural reason they became estranged.

The Job is a great read. I can't recommend this Cara Dee book enough. It's a fabulous mix of an organized crime family, second chances, stepbrothers falling in love, a cute kid, and plenty of humor. I love every second of it.

Wow, Anyta Sunday's Rock is one hell of a read. This has been on my tbr list for years, and I finally got a chance to read it. 

Rock is a stepbrother romance with angst, angst, and more angst. The tone throughout is that of need, want, pain, and heartache. 

All told from Cooper's pov, the story starts with the anger and pain of discovering his father's double life and his parent's divorce. Upon spending time with his father's other family, he meets Jace, his stepbrother. 

This is a messy, heartbreaking tale, as the two boys go from strangers, to frenemies, to best friends, and more. Their journey spans many years and left me gutted most of the time. 

It's a tale of family, painful decisions, and truth. The author excels in exploring that one can't help who they love. It's a tale of sexual awakening, sexual discovery, and sexual exploration. It's a story of 

coming out, coming of age, and all the changes life brings. 

And then there's the rocks. Omg. I am still stunned with how well the author approaches the meaning behind Cooper's rocks and being a rock for a person. It's as emotional as it is impressive. 

The writing is obviously well done, riveting, and all consuming. I definitely don't like the present tense, as it makes the story awkward to me at times. But the way Cooper talks and feels seems to fit that writing style. His feelings jump of the pages throughout. 

Rock is an all consuming read. Anyta Sunday brings all the emotions to the table with this forbidden romance. I highly recommend this read when you're in the mood for anguish and more anguish. It will take you on one hell of a journey and will leave you completely consumed throughout.

From the start, I love Forever Better Together, an AD Ellis romance between two step brothers.

Griffin was taken into Quincy's life as a foster brother. A couple years later, the two best friends become "brothers" when Griffin's adopted by Qunicy's guardians, his grandparents. Oh man, I love books like this. 

Griffin and Quincy are the best of friends. They're supportive of one another, and I enjoy the sweetness of their relationship. But going from friends to lovers is never an easy step.


Of course, there is more to their story than just a happy go lucky romance. Griffin's struggles with things in his past. His birth parents and his experiences in foster care, have left lasting effects on him. This part is emotional and touching. In addition, both men struggle with fears and self doubts.

Please note that although they are technically related, there is never any angst about this. I actually really appreciate this, as the clearly are strongly connected and everyone acknowledges that they're not blood relatives.

And, omg, I absolutely love and adore Momma. You'll be hard pressed to find a better lady.


Forever Better Together is sweet and soothing; a total comfort read. Definitely check out this young adult gem by AD Ellis! Honestly, it's one of my favorite reads of the year.

Anna Wineheart's His Two Alphas is the eighth book in the Men of Meadowfall series. And, damn, it's a steamy one.

Spike and Kai are two alpha stepbrothers who happen to have a thing for their friend's father, Micah. Spike and Kai's relationship is heartbreaking and yet heartwarming in the end. They've physically been together a lot, which, of course, is taboo, but the emotions were never able to complete their bond. Adding Micah to the mix brings their emotions to an all time high. The scenes between them, and the lack of a mark between them, is as emotional as it gets. 

Then we get to add in Micah. Did I mention Micah's also their professor? The forbidden aspect of their relationship is exciting and riveting. Together, they are Hot, Hot, Hot! Seriously, the heat jumps off the pages. 

Their relationship consists of fears, insecurities, and hesitation. Micah's scarred from a fire, and the scenes were the alphas talk to him about his scars are so damn tender and beautiful. 

The writing's fantastic, keeping me invested throughout. It' so exciting to finally get Micah's story and to see him find love. 

His Two Alphas is absolutely riveting. I love every single second of this menage romance. This scorching hot double forbidden romance is a wonderful treat that highly delivers all the feels!

I love Stepbrother's Secret by Anna Wineheart. It's wonderfully complex, with multi-layered family issues, as well as work issues. 


The two step-brothers have always been attracted to each other, but they knew they couldn't be together. Eric and Ollie can't help but to give into the temptation, but their relationship involves lies and secrets that cause pain, hurt, and grief. 

Their relationship is complicated to say the least. Ollie's already been outcast by his family, but he doesn't want the same for Eric. This part kills me, as Ollie wants more for Eric than he has himself. 

Stepbrother's Secret includes abuse, danger, an accidental pregnancy, and insane family issues. And it's all a ton of fun! I definitely will be checking out the other books in this series.
