Austin Steele is my idol. He’s also the guy I can’t get enough of.

Austin Steele is my idol. He’s also the guy I can’t get enough of.

Everyone thinks they know who I am—one of pop’s biggest divos. They don’t know me at all. Austin Steele makes me want to see the real me, only there’s some problems:

We’re both omegas, he’s nineteen years my senior, he’s nursing old wounds, and he wants to keep what’s happening between us a secret.

I thought a one-night stand was all I wanted. Now it’s becoming so much more. But how can we look to the future when we can’t let go of our pasts?

Unapologetically Me is the third book in Offbeat Shifters, an m/m paranormal romance series with a continuing storyline. This book includes a misunderstood and unapologetic Arctic fox shifter, a caring capuchin monkey shifter, and a HFN ending. While it’s set in an alternate universe where omegas give birth, there are no pregnancy or birth scenes in this book.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Unapologetically Me is a fabulous read. The third book in Colette Davison's Offbeat Shifters series, it's a wonderful continuation of this spectacular omegaverse world. Be sure to start with Secretly Mine to fully appreciate this stunning story.

This is Austin and Charlie's romance. And oh how I love it! It's an age gap romance, with nineteen years between the men. This is definitely a struggle for Austin. It's also a best friend's father romance, as Charlie is friends with Jesse, adding a forbidden romance aspect.

Charlie appears to be flaky and often misses his appointments. And when he dismisses Austin after a long desired hook up, that just reinforces Austin's negative opinion of him.

But there's a good reason behind Charlie's actions. He has epilepsy and often has to deal with an oncoming seizure or is recovering from a seizure. And he doesn't want the world to know.

The emotions are all consuming as Austin and Charlie slowly build an intense connection. And that connection is as strong as I've ever read.

Hot damn, the heat scene is off the chart amazing. It's absolutely mesmerizing.

And wow, the shifter scenes. Just wow. There is nothing else like it, except for the shifter scenes in the previous books. The author creates a shifting world that is all about the emotions. It's truly stunning, as the shifting in these books create calmness and a sense of security. I've never read another author who uses the shifter scenes in such an emotional manner.

The author wonderfully explores that being famous, or being in a group, isn't always what one thinks it is. One can easily find themselves surrounded by people, yet as lonely as can be. One needs more than a career to keep them happy.

Written in alternating first person pov, the emotions jump off the pages. Every look. Every touch. Every single moment.

I'm impressed with the way the seizures are written. The author handles them with care and compassion, as well as knowledge and understanding. They're an important part of this story and I appreciate the way it's all developed.

Unapologetically Me is an absolutely beautiful love story. Every moment of this Colette Davison gem is freaking amazing, and the series as a whole is superb. I can't wait to see what happens next.

“I can’t remember the last time I just hung out with someone before this week.” I laid my head on his shoulder. “That’s not true. It was right before my first album went viral.”

“That’s a long time.” Austin didn’t sound even remotely surprised.

“I guess you know how that feels, huh?”

“Yes.”

“The cupcakes will be cool enough to decorate.” I cleared my throat and stood.

We’d been having fun, and I didn’t want to drag the day down with drama about how lonely I was. Had been. Could I consign my loneliness to past tense now that I was spending time with Austin?

“I’ll help you make some icing if you want.”

“That might help,” Austin said around a chuckle.

I showed him the recipe I liked to use, loaded up a piping bag for him, and hand over hand showed him how to use it.

“You’ve gotta be gentle,” I said as I left him to it.

I carefully cut a hole out of the centre of each of my cupcakes, into which I pushed a fresh strawberry. Then I popped the top back on and began to ice them. I’d coloured my icing a soft shade of pink, much paler than the bright red of the strawberries. Using a controlled motion, I spiralled the icing onto the top of each cupcake.

“Bollocks!” Austin said.

I looked around to see that his hands were covered in icing, and the nozzle had shot off the piping bag onto one of his cupcakes. Icing dripped everywhere.

I couldn’t help but laugh. “You squeezed too hard, didn’t you?”

“It wasn’t coming out,” he grumbled.

He put the piping bag into a bowl, washed his hands, and grabbed a spoon. I watched for a moment as he dolloped icing onto the top of each cupcake. They looked anything but pretty. Still chuckling to myself, I finished mine off by sprinkling the tiny pieces of chopped strawberry over the icing.

“It’s obvious who’s won,” Austin said.

“No, it’s not. Don’t we have to do a taste test or something?”

“I guess so.”

“Get a couple of plates out.”

He complied. I cut one of his cupcakes in half and put a piece on each plate, then did the same with one of my own.

“Forks?”

“We could use our fingers?”

“I’m pretty sure that’s not how they do it on cooking shows.”

Austin smiled and grabbed a couple of forks. “We should taste the same one.” He handed me a fork. “Mine first.”

“Why?”

“So we’re saving the best until last? We’ll need to eat yours to get rid of the taste of mine.”

“They can’t be that bad.”

He raised his eyebrows. We both took a bite.

“Oh.” The cupcake was like a dry rock in my mouth.

“See what I mean?” Austin said around his own mouthful.

I grabbed some water to wash it down. “They’re not bad for a beginner. A little dry.”

“And heavy.”

“You might want to try adding a bit of milk when you’re mixing the ingredients. It helps to make the mixture light and fluffy.”

“What would help the taste?”

“Some vanilla-bean paste. It’s much better than vanilla extract,” I added, glancing at the small brown bottle of extract that Austin had bought but obviously not used in his own cakes.

Austin nodded thoughtfully before trying my cake. He closed his eyes and murmured his approval. “Now this is like an orgasm in my mouth.”

I snorted a laugh. “A what?”

“An orgasm in my mouth.” He devoured the rest of his half of the cupcake and then put his plate down. “You win.” He wrapped his arms around my waist.

“What do I win?”

“A kiss.” His lips and tongue tasted of strawberries and icing.

“Good prize.”

It’s hard to get what you don’t ask for
Noah’s world turned on its head when he discovered his new boss was the gorgeous Daddy Dom he saw at DASH. He knows he should talk to him, but how can he do that when he ends up hurting himself any time Deputy Daddy is near?

As the chief deputy, Zander knows he needs to keep things professional with the newest deputy. That becomes harder each time Noah gets hurt. All he wants to do is swoop in and make things better. Maybe if he can find the mysterious guy with the intricate tattoo from DASH, he’ll be able to stop obsessing over the newest deputy.

An accident has Zander’s personal and professional lives colliding as he discovers the man with the tattoo is none other than Noah. Now that he knows Noah’s secret, the overprotective Daddy isn’t going away until he’s sure Noah is okay.

A little communication goes a long way, but after a misunderstanding and a lot of embarrassment, will the two ever be able to talk? If they can’t, one of them is going to need a new job. If they can, Daddy and boy might just discover that they are exactly what the other has been looking for.

Zander is the first book in the Johnson Family Rules series. When the Johnson family is around, there’s no telling what might happen. They are a family who loves fiercely and wants everyone to have their happily ever after. Zander and Noah are bound to be inundated with nosy people, embarrassing moments, and a unconditional support while they find their way as Daddy and boy.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Zander is a fabulous read. As in, holy crap, I love this Carly Marie story. The first book in the Johnson Family Rules series, I couldn't devour it fast enough.

Zander's family, aka the Johnson family, is awesome and totally not the typical family next door. The family's a large, mixed marriage one who definitely aren't shy about sex. His father and step mother own the BDSM club, his brother is a little, his grandmother the receptionist, and everyone has a story I can't wait to discover.

As for Zander and Noah, well, they first notice one another at the club. But Noah thinks Zander is taken. Next thing they know they are co-workers. Awkward, right? Oh how I adore the clumsiness that follows, as Noah is just so uncomfortable. Simply put, you can see it all play out as if it's a tv comedy where he trips and falls every time he sees Zander.

There's a forced proximity aspect, as an injury results in the men spending time together. Cue the developing feelings and ultimate relationship.

The boss/employee aspect is certainly entertaining, especially as Noah has no idea that others around them are involved in kink. Oh fun!

This is a story with plenty of misunderstandings, but none of them are the annoying ones that are just there to keep them apart. Instead, these misunderstandings tend to add some humor and keeps things interesting.

Zander and Noah are truly fabulous together. Zander is a Daddy and he's wonderful knowing what Noah needs. Their romance is a slow burn, but it's well worth the wait. They are sexually on fire, and Zander is a wonderful Daddy for Noah.

The author explores that there is no one type of submission, domination, little, etc. It wonderfully illustrates that whatever works between consenting adults is fine.

And if you don't enjoy the scenes with Larson, well, simply put, I am sorry. Cause they are beautiful! Simply beautiful! I can't wait for more of Larson.

The writing is amazing, with a perfect flow and a seamless storyline. The world building is everything with this one, and I just can't wait to read more.

Zander is a must read for any fans of Daddy romances or just fantastic romances in general. Carly Marie adds plenty of heart, heat, and humor into this wonderful story. I love the Johnson family and can't wait to get to know the others better.

Chaos disguised as Christmas has arrived, and it’s brought all the Scott brothers home.

Derek is always looking for a reason to spend time with his brothers, and Jasper, Greg, and Harrison’s upcoming wedding means that they need a party to celebrate. And how better to do that than to invite his brothers to Tennessee? But what happens when his husband, Colt, starts thinking their house may be too small for so many people? Is it true that the more really is the merrier?

After a whirlwind trip to Tennessee—and a lingering hangover—there’s no rest for Ty or Declan who jump right back into life in California with their twins and work. Long hours at the office and busy days with the kids makes arriving in Oklahoma that much sweeter. But when Declan’s past comes back into his life, will it ruin the trip?

For better or worse, Jasper’s family finally made it to Oklahoma, and the house has never been so full, or festive. Spending time with his brothers isn’t anywhere near as stressful as it used to be, but a freak snowstorm is. As the storm grows and snow piles up, it threatens to keep Greg’s family from Oklahoma and Jasper, Harrison, and Greg’s wedding. The three are going to need a true Christmas miracle to pull off the wedding of their dreams. But is that one wish too big, even for Christmas magic?

Home for Christmas is the 67k word follow-up novel to the Finding Home series. Catch up with all the Scott men and follow Derek, Colt, Ty, Declan, as they head home to spend Christmas with Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. Expect naughty gifts, sexy times, and unwavering love and acceptance while the Scotts celebrate as only they can.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Carly Marie's Home For Christmas is absolutely wonderful. I have no clue how to do this book justice. If you're a fan of the Finding Home series, this book will be one of the best books you've ever read.

We get to spend time with all the Finding Home men, as they get together to celebrate the holidays, as well as a family wedding. Each couple gets their time as the focus, although all three couples are around throughout.

First we get Derek and Colt, with so many tender age play moments. These two continue to delight. It's fascinating to see them navigate between adult time with the kids, to little time. And, omg, the way all the other men accept and help with Derek's little time is just the best.

Next we get Ty and Declan, and a peak into their kink. They have to balance their love of lace and silk with their family time. Their kids are precious and seeing the men get a time away from work is as good as I was hoping it would be.

Finally there's Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. And their wedding! Everything about them will melt your heart. It's just fabulous and includes one hell of a wedding gift.

In general, the Scott family is the best! I love everything about them and wish I could be a part of the fun personally. Getting to spend more time with them is truly a gift. The chaos, the abundance of family, and all the kink adds up to be a most wonderful of Christmases indeed.

Their story includes diapers, binkies, lace, double penetration, and more. And it couldn't have been any better! Seriously, the way the men support one another, and are comfortable around each other, is truly all I could ever ask for from them.

Overall, Home for Christmas quickly became one of my favorite holiday reads. Carly Marie went above and beyond to give us a look into one of the sweetest and kinkiest Christmases ever.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Omg!  I love Carly Marie's Untamed. Can I give it 10 stars? Seriously, it is wonderfully delicious. It's a must read for anyone who enjoys age play.

It's an amazing story of a developing Daddy and age play relationship between roommates. What starts as a lie to save face, ends up introducing Kyle to a whole new world he never knew he needed. Soon Rand and Kyle are practicing being Daddy and little, as they want to be convincing in front of Kyle's family.

Kyle and Rand are not just pretend boyfriends, but also pretend Daddy and little. As if pretend boyfriends isn't good enough! Soon, what starts as a pretend relationship between Kyle and Rand starts feeling like  more.

I love these two together. These best friends and roommates are perfect together as more. I love how they fall into this new aspect of their relationship.
Kyle's natural development into being a boy is perfectly done. It's slow and just makes sense. And Rand falling into the role of his Daddy is just amazingly written.

For me, it doesn't get better than this. I love, love, love this book! It's a super sweet and fun tale of sexual and emotional lifestyle discovery. I love age play and this one is amazing.

Omg, I love Fred!!!

Untamed is a spectacular combination of pretend boyfriends, age play, friends to lover, and boss/employee romance. It's hot and sweet and I can't wait to re-read it soon! I adore every single second of this Carly Marie gem!

GRL 2019 AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT - Undisclosed Desires by Carly Marie

In my attempt to cover some of the attending authors for this year's GRL,
I am reviewing

Carly Marie's
Undisclosed Desires!

BLURB

Caleb Masterson is, by all accounts, a successful adult. He graduated college, found a job he loves, and has a place to call home. Unfortunately, he knows what he desires in a relationship is considered too “high-maintenance” for most men and he has decided to not even bother looking. He’s happy with his decision until a sexy man with salt-and-pepper hair limps into his physical therapy office and turns his world upside down.

Careful attention to detail and a need to be in control have helped Travis Barton become the owner of a successful construction company. But that same desire for control is what has pushed his past boyfriends away... Travis knows what he’s looking for in a relationship isn’t easy to find, and the last place he expects to find the man with the potential to be everything he’s ever hoped for is in his physical therapist’s office. But when Travis overhears an intriguing conversation between his cute physical therapist and a co-worker, he’s suddenly not so anxious to be back at work.

Is it possible for two men, both content in their lives, to find what they’ve both needed in a partner in the most unexpected of places? Or will their desires be too much for the other to handle?

This 83k word Daddy/boy novel contains adult topics, including age play and ABDL themes.

REVIEW
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Damn, Carly Marie's Undisclosed Desires is amazing!

It's a superb age play/Daddy play romance. I absolutely love this book. It's emotional, it's sweet, and it's super steamy.

This is a story about finding that one person with whom you can be yourself. It's about finding someone who accepts your needs and wants, and putting yourself out there. It's about the struggle of expressing one's needs. It's such a tough thing to be so vulnerable, and this is a large part of their journey.

There is beautiful growth and transformation in both men from start to finish. They both need one another, and perfectly center each other.

On this wonderful journey, the author expertly illustrates the desires of people to be a little or a daddy. She explores why each man needs such a relationship, and what they get from it. If you've ever wondered about this, you MUST read this book.

I can't explain why, but age play is by far my favorite trope. It's partially because it's not as common as others, and is thus a complete and utter treat. The reason for the relationship and the benefits both men experience from it are beautiful. And for some reason, it is a huge turn on. Love it!

Undisclosed Desires has everything I want in an age play Daddy kink romance. Carly Marie includes some powerful emotion in this riveting age gap romance.
