My Rating - 5 Stars!

More than Enough is a fabulous age play romance. Everything about this B Harmony story warms my heart.

This is an age play story with an older little who's starting to feel too old to be a little. This aspect makes for an emotional journey for Eric. It's truly a beautiful story.

If you want a story with an older little falling for a younger Daddy, look no further.

Eric and Sawyer are two wonderfully complex characters. Eric's struggling with his age and his desires. Meanwhile Sawyer struggles with his amputation, both being rejected for it, and the physical pain it brings.

Both men need healing, and both men gain it through this relationship. It's sweet, emotional, and definitely worth a read.

Their story includes plenty of tender moments, and some ABDL, which is all amazingly done.

I love that both men are thoughtful, caring, and loving. Best of all though, is the way the characters don't fit the typical stereotypes. Having the little being older is a wonderful aspect of this story. But ever better is that the daddy is a disabled veteran. Both of these men don't fit the "norm" and it makes for amazing multi-layered characters.

The author does a great job including depression in an accurate way. Everything is written with care and knowledge. In addition, the author excels in illustrating chronic pain. I am impressed by how well everything is developed and executed.

Overall, I absolutely love More Than Enough. This B Harmony tale is a must read for anyone who loves age play romances.

Special Release Excerpt:

Permission granted, Eric reaches down and begins untying my right boot, pulling it free. Then starts sliding my jeans down until they scrunch at the bottom. Carefully he frees my right foot from the denim, holding my prosthetic with the other until he can move it out of the way. He gently places the metal contraption to the side, leaning against the couch.

I stare, speechless, as Eric leans forward to trace a finger over my stump. Goosebumps travel down my arms at his touch, and I feel my eyes stinging. “You—you’re not grossed out by this?” I gesture to the mangled stump.

Eric shakes his head, his eyes never leaving the space where my leg was severed. “No, Daddy.” As if to prove his point, Eric leans closer, pressing his lips in the softest kiss right above the amputation line.

I bite my lip until I taste the metallic tang of blood. The tears I’ve held back fall unbidden down my cheeks.

Who is this boy, and how did I get so goddamn lucky to find him?

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - MF - Heartless Player (Westfall U #1) by R.C. Stephens

Heartless Player: Westfall U #1
by R.C. Stephens is now live!

He might be a heartless player, but that won't stop me from playing his game.

Rebel

Notorious heartbreaker and handsome-as-sin hockey captain, Wolfe Judd is the golden boy on campus. He could have any girl he wants... and he wants me.

He sees beyond my surface. The way his stormy blue eyes watch me... I feel beautiful for the first time since my accident. Little by little, he tears down my walls, exposing a passion that leaves me breathless and a vulnerability that could leave me shattered.

But all my scars aren't on the outside, and the ones inside whisper that a guy like him will never fall for a damaged girl like me. Turns out Wolfe is just as broken as I am. He might be a heartless player, but that won't stop me from playing his game.

Wolfe

Rebel thinks she's invisible, but I see her... even when she doesn't want me to. Even when I wish I could get her out of my mind, because falling for her is a complication I can't afford.

My reputation proceeds me, but Rebel is a game changer. And if I get too close, I'm afraid she'll see right through me. Behind the person who my family and teammates expect me to be, to the person who's been keeping secrets.

With every scorching touch, every unapologetic kiss, the rules change, and the truth unravels around us. If only we could go on living this lie, then I wouldn't risk losing the only girl I've ever loved.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Heartless Player is a great sports romance. This RC Stephens tale is gripping and will leave you riveted throughout.

Rebel and Wolfe aren't your everyday characters. These two have tough family situations. Good god, Rebel and her sister make me want to cry.

This is a college romance with plenty of sneaking around, as Rebel doesn't want the attention that comes with dating a player.

Both characters bring out the best in one another, which is always a goal in a relationship. I love the way he brings out a different version of Rebel. He helps her find herself worthy and more than her disability.

And then there's Wolf, who's family issues have caused him a lot of pain and issues. But with Rebel, he finds a calmness he never knew before.

Of course, their path isn't easy as some things try to get in their way.

I love the characters and the storyline, but don't love the present tense. It definitely was awkward to me at times. But other than that, I love it.

Heartless Player is everything I want in a sports romance. Add in that it's a college romance, and woo hoo! I really enjoyed this RC Stephens book and am excited to see what comes next in this series.

Holt's Hope (Protect and Serve #5) by Pandora Pine

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Former Army pilot Quentin Harding has finally gotten his life back on track after a devastating injury ended his military career. Flying has always been his greatest dream come true, a dream he thought was over after his helicopter was shot down. Qualifying as an Angel Flight pilot, Quentin can take to the skies once again, helping people receive care unavailable in their hometowns.

Cancer patient Holt Robertson’s only lifeline is his weekly Angel Flight chopper trip from Albany to Boston to receive treatment for leukemia while he waits on a potential matching bone marrow donor. Usually a boring trip, he’s surprised to meet new pilot, Quentin, who isn’t at all what Holt bargained for. Tall, and handsome, he’s the kind of man who could give Holt something to live for. If only Quentin felt the same way in return.

When Holt’s condition takes a turn for the worse, Quentin steps up to the plate offering him a place to stay as his course of treatment ramps up. Living in the crazy McCoy household, Holt finds himself falling for Quentin’s brothers, his rambunctious nieces, and falls hardest of all for Quentin himself.

Faced with illness, frustration, and a drop of sunshine, both men fight for love and a bright future filled with endless tomorrows.

Holt’s Hope is the final book in the Protect and Serve series. Catch up with all your favorite characters and their ultimate happy endings!

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Holt's Hope is a wonderful addition to the Protect & Serve series. The fifth book in this Pandora Pine series, it's best read as part of the series.

Holt and Quentin are two men who feel an instant connection. Holt is getting cancer treatments, and finds himself under Quentin's care.

Both men know pain and suffering. Quentin's experiences make it easy for him to feel comfortable with Holt. Of course, Holt is used to people not knowing how to talk to him as he's sick.

These men are fabulous. Quentin's past includes a mentally ill mother who couldn't care for him. He spent years in the military, leaving without a leg. This is a man who knows suffering, and yet also knows how to survive.

Then there's Holt who's sick and isn't used to a caring, supportive, and accepting family like Quentin's.

They are wonderful together, easily falling in love, with both being exactly what the other needs.

And as always, Mandy and David are family goals. They are absolutely amazing parents. And we get more Lola, who I just adore. I would read this just for her. This entire large family is amazing. As usual, the author excels in developing a strong and loving family who the reader easily wishes to be a part of.

The beauty of this author is her ability to write a tale with some extremely serious issues without ever making the story heavy. I appreciate this whole heartedly. It's a gift to keep everything light despite the trauma involved. And as a reader, I can't get enough of the way Pandora writes.

I'll admit I was a little distracted by some of the Albany info, as I wish it had been the real names instead of made up names. But that is on me, and most people wouldn't ever even notice. But, I did cringe every time the airport's name is mentioned.

Holt's Hope is sweet, tender, and cute. And the ending, oh the ending! It's wonderfully sweet and perfect. Overall, this is another feel-good, charming Pandora Pine read.

HEARTSONG BY A.E. WASP

The best music comes from the heart.

Sean Anderson has spent his life waiting to get the hell out of West Virginia. His plans got derailed when his dad shipped him off to “pray the gay away,” but he’s over it, ready to prove that he’s a grown-ass man who can take care of himself. Of course, he’d have a better chance convincing himself if he could stop lusting after his grumpy roommate.

Army veteran Cooper Hill returned to Vermont minus one leg and one career, but determined to build a new life. When an army buddy asks Cooper to keep an eye on his nephew, a junior at the local college, Cooper can’t say no. He’s expecting a sheltered kid. What he gets is a gorgeous young man whose brilliant poetry gives voice to everything Cooper’s been trying to express. He wants Sean more than he’s ever wanted anything. And somehow, miraculously, Sean wants him too.

But wanting each other isn’t the same as being good for each other . . . especially when past pain threatens to write its own verse in their song.

A stand-alone novel in Sarina Bowen’s True North world, HEARTSONG contains first love, found family, kisses around the campfire, and two caring men who discover they make beautiful music together.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Heartsong is the thirteenth book in the Vino & Veritas series. This is AE Wasp's contribution to this multi-author series.

I have mixed feelings about this story. Overall, the story is wonderful and full of heart. But the present tense writing style left me struggling to fully connect throughout most of the book.

Sean and Cooper have an instant attraction to each other, and their romance is sort of insta love since it happens so quickly. Their age difference is a great aspect to this story.

The men are both well developed, with interesting backgrounds. I enjoy the way the layers are peeled back over time.

Cooper's a totally loveable character. His disability is well explored and extremely emotional. I am impressed with how this is written and enjoyed this element a lot. Best of all though is the way Sean reacts to everything.

Sean's a sweetie from the start, but definitely has some lingering issues to deal with. His pain and PTSD is heart-wrenching. Everything unfolds over time, with one hell of emotional moment towards the end. It makes it a little harder to understand him, as it takes a long time to fully understand Sean.

In the end, Heartsong is a beautiful hurt/comfort story that I might connect with more on a different day. If this AE Wasp book was written in past tense, I would be rating it higher. But for me, that left me distracted a lot. The journey for these men is wonderful, full of emotion, both good and bad. It's definitely worth a read.

Head down against the driving rain, body hunched over the injured dog, I don’t see the taillight of the car pulling out of a parking spot until it’s almost too late. Oh fuck. I close my eyes, turn the dog away, and brace for the impact.

Strong hands clamp down on my upper arms and yank me back. My back slams against a hard, broad chest, and then all three of us, me, my rescuer and the dog, are stumbling into the back bumper of a minivan.

The hands around my arms tighten and I lean against this stranger’s body for a second. The guy is almost the same height as me, but much broader, his chest wide and warm against my wet back. The feel of stubble against my cheek and warm breath blowing over my ear makes me shiver.

“Sean?” he says, voice deep and smooth.

Oh, holy hell. Can it be?

“Cooper, get the hell in here!” a second man calls from behind us.

A’course it is.

I straighten up and try to pull away. I swear his hands tighten on my arms, tugging me back against him for a glorious but far too brief moment before he lets me go. When I look over my shoulder at him, our eyes meet and my words lock in my throat as a sizzle of electricity shoots down my spine. It’s so real, I swear lighting must have touched ground somewhere. By the way his eyes widen, Cooper feels it, too.

I can’t hear anything except our breathing and the rain pounding on the gravel parking lot, soaking my thin t-shirt, and plastering Cooper’s hair to his head.

In my arms, the dog whimpers, and still I can’t look away from Cooper’s piercing gaze. What the hell is going on?

He starts to speak, and I sway towards him, holding my breath.

Those dark, intense eyes narrow and he scowls. “Don’t you fucking know how to drive?”

Speechless, I reel back and he grabs my arm again to keep me from losing my balance.

“Jesus Christ,” the older man says. “Don’t either one of you idiots have the sense God gave a goose? Get the hell inside.”

Cooper drops my arm like it’s scalding him, and I tear my gaze away from his angry face. An older guy with dark-brown skin, grey beard, and salt-and-pepper dreadlocks tied behind his neck waves at us from the open doors of the diner.

Grateful for the save, I walk carefully to the doors and into the diner.

“What happened?” the man asks as I pass him.

“This kid hit a dog and then almost got hit by a car himself,” Cooper answers from behind me.

“Are you always such a dick or is today special?” I snap at him.

A Desperate Man by Lisa Henry & Tia Fielding

When they were teenagers, Quinn MacGregor and Aaron Larsen fell in love over the course of one magical summer. It ended in bloodshed and tragedy.

Now, ten years later, Quinn is back in Spruce Creek, Nevada, to inherit his family’s criminal cartel. His cousin Jimmy has been making friends -- and enemies -- in dangerous places, but that doesn’t mean he’s happy to hand over leadership to Quinn. And Jimmy might not be the only one who wants Quinn out of the way for good, especially if Quinn’s secret comes out.

Aaron Larsen is back in Spruce Creek to sell his former family home. Aaron lost a leg in Afghanistan, and he’s drinking too much and battling depression and PTSD. The last thing he needs is for Quinn MacGregor to drop back into his miserable life. But when Quinn is shaken by the news that he left more behind in Spruce Creek than his bad memories, he turns to Aaron like it’s old times, and Aaron doesn’t know how to say no.

The events of ten years ago cast a long shadow, and in a town where they can’t trust anyone else, Quinn and Aaron just might have to learn to trust each other again.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

A Desperate Man is a nice small town romance by Lisa Henry and Tia Fielding.

Quinn and Aaron are two men with a complicated cast. Both return to their small town at the same time, giving them a chance to make amends.

If you enjoy complicated, troubled characters, look no further.

Both men are trying to find their way, both at a crossroads. Aaron is back to sell his family home. He's an amputee and he drinks way too much. And there's a new discovery he's about to make.

Meanwhile, Quinn comes from a dangerous family and they want him to run the illegal family business now. But he wants to quit and go the legal route. It's complicated to say the least.

The danger added by Quinn's family is ever looming. It's well written, keeping me intrigued and invested throughout. And damn, this part made me so angry.

There's a lot of surprises in this story, so I am trying not to say too much.

The whole story kept me intrigued throughout. I love Lennon. I enjoy the connection and chemistry between the men. Things aren't easy for them, as they have a lot of obstacles in their way. And of course there's a fun twist, as Quinn has a secret - Ohh...love it!

This is a story with depression and PTSD issues. It's a story of resentment and anger that leads to chemistry, forgiveness, and love.

The small town aspect is well done, fully bringing the small town to life. And the authors keep you invested with some twists and turns along the way.

A Desperate Man is a nice redemption/second chance romance. This Lisa Henry and Tia Fielding read mixes second chances with family issues, danger, and a little bit of heat. It's a fun read that left me glad to have found it.

…or risk walking away from each other for good.

______________________________________________________________________

My Rating - Stars!

Everything Changes is a wonderful military romance. Melanie Hansen grabbed my attention immediately and I couldn't put it down.

Jase and Carey are two troubled characters. Former military men, they are both in so much pain.

Oh Jase. Poor Jase is so closed off, secretive and guarded. I could feel his pain throughout. He suffers from PTSD, including some detailed flashbacks, so be warned.

And then there's Carey. Carey lost his leg during his military time, but he's pretty well adjusted about it. I appreciate the detail involved with his injury. It is all well written.

They definitely make for a hot couple as Carey is suddenly having new feelings for his bisexual friend. If you like sexual awakening stories, you will enjoy this one, including the great first times.

This is a book about the physical wounds, such as Carey's prosthetic leg, as well as the mental wounds. I love the way the author describes it as "wounds on the soul." What a perfect way of stating it. A lot of care and compassion went into the details and I am impressed with it all.

Written in alternating 3rd person pov, I love the writing style and tone. Every emotion jumps off the pages. Every touch, every doubt, every dream, every look, everything. And I love the author's use of memories to reveal the past.

Everything Changes  is a spectacular friends to lovers romance. I love every moment of this Melanie Hansen book and want more! Everything about this book worked for me, and I was consumed with these men throughout!

With an oath, Carey broke away from Jase, turned, and strode off the dance floor.

Cursing, Jase ran after him.

“Carey, wait!” he called, but Carey didn’t stop as he pushed through the doors leading to the patio. It was almost empty, the chill of the late night air having driven most everyone back inside. Abruptly, Carey whirled and grabbed onto Jase’s T-shirt with both fists.

Bracing for a shove, or a blow, Jase staggered when Carey instead yanked him into the shadows just outside a soft pool of light.

“Damn you,” he hissed, his eyes glittering. “Damn you, Jase.” Despite the harshness of his tone, Carey didn’t let go of him, his fingers twisted in the fabric of Jase’s shirt. His lips were parted, breaths coming in pants, spots of color high on his cheekbones.

His heart thudding painfully in his ears, Jase deliberately took one step closer until their bodies were only inches apart. Carey turned his head away, but still didn’t let go, his grip tightening.

“Damn you,” he said again, but the words were without heat, softer, more like an exhalation. He dropped his head back to the wall, pulse throbbing visibly in the hollow of his throat, eyes drifting shut. “Oh God. I don’t know what’s happening to me.” His voice was barely audible.

Blood racing, body trembling, all Jase could do was wait him out. At last Carey opened his eyes, the normally brilliant blue dark with emotion. His gaze clung to Jase’s, his lips parting as Jase started to close the last few inches of distance between them…

Gasping, Carey shoved him back, then yanked him close again in an abrupt motion that had Jase slamming his palms against the wall to keep from crashing into him. He looked down at Carey's fists, still twisted in his shirt, then met his eyes once more.

“Let me go,” he said softly. “If you don’t want me to kiss you, push me away.”

For one heart-stopping second, Carey’s grip loosened, then tightened again. Leaning in until their lips were only a whisper apart, Jase breathed, “Let me go. If you don’t want me to kiss you—”

The rest of his words were muffled by Carey’s mouth, crushing his. Hot, slick, eager, Carey’s tongue slid deep, almost devouring him. With a hoarse groan, Jase slanted his head, his own tongue thrusting, parrying. They bit and licked at each other, bodies straining, breaths sawing in and out…

Then Carey ripped his mouth free. “No.”

Struggling to focus, Jase staggered a bit when Carey pushed him away. For the space of several heartbeats they stared at each other, chests heaving, Carey’s body tense, coiled, as if ready to flee.

Seeing it, Jase forced himself to blow out a long, slow breath, and crammed his hands in his pockets as he deliberately took another step back, giving him some room.

“I’m sorry,” Carey whispered. “I’m so sorry.”

“For what?” With an effort, Jase kept his voice low, calm. “I was a more than willing participant.” He waited until Carey met his eyes. “You think I don’t want this? Want you?”

Carey shook his head wildly. “I can’t risk it. I can’t.”

“Oh, Carey. Risk what?”

His throat worked. “Losing you.”

“Losing me?” Jase took a step forward, but Carey put up a hand to hold him back.

“Three years ago, I did almost lose you. Over this.” He made a sawing motion between them.

“That was different.” Jase still kept his voice low, despite the emotion raging through him that made him want to shout at the top of his lungs. “This is—”

“It’s what?” Carey interrupted. “Unfinished business? Curiosity?”

Pain stabbed Jase down low. “Is that what it feels like to you? Curiosity?”

“I don’t know!” Carey shoved his hands through his hair, then linked his fingers behind his neck, visibly striving for calm. He met Jase’s eyes again. “But whatever it is, it’s not worth risking our friendship over. I can’t—”

He sounded so distressed that Jase dredged deep and summoned a smile. “Then we won’t risk it. We’ll forget this ever happened, okay? Chalk it up to temporary insanity or something.”

The relief that spread across Carey’s face made his heart ache. “Yeah. Okay.” Pushing off the wall, he brushed past him, muttering, “See you at home.”
