Good god, I am in awe. I didn't think the Forbidden Desires world could get any better, but damn! Peregrine is a mesmerizing romance by Piper Scott & Virginia Kelly. 

The kids are amazing and entertaining. Love them!

Sebastian and Perry are out of this world. From the moment they met, Sebastian was dedicated heart and soul to his lover. Their romance is all consuming for both of them. 

Unfortunately, their lives are full of pain and loss. It is heartbreaking and painful to the core. 

Their tale is full of child antics, family issues, secrets, and pain. It's messy and complicated and well worth a read. 

Everything about this book is amazing. The authors alternate between past and present in this emotional journey. The backstory is well explored and developed, setting up the present fully.

Peregrine is everything I was hoping it would be. I can't wait to see what these authors come up with next. For now, what a fabulous installment in this Forbidden Desires Spin Off series.

Finch, the third book in the Forbidden Desires Spin-Off series, is fabulous. This Piper Scott and Virginia Kelly story is downright fun. The authors perfectly combine heart and humor throughout. 

This story can probably be read as a standalone, but dear god, that would be a sham, as the previous books are so damn good.

Hugh and Finch make for a fantastic couple. The two are such opposites, but equally idiotic. Hugh is ready to start a family after a lifetime of loneliness. He never expected his mate to be in his employ. 

Their relationship is one of longing, secrets, and fated mates. I love the way Hugh has no clue about Finch, as well as the way Finch's secret comes out. That scene had me smiling throughout.

I couldn't stop laughing at Hugh with the accidental high. I never thought cake could be so entertaining. Funfetti. I can't stop laughing. 

If you've been following this series, you know that the writing is stellar. The world building for the series is amazing, with so many little elements that add to it's charm. And omg, the dragon jokes kill me. Add in previous characters, and wow. The Drake family continue to entertain and delight in the most fabulous of scenes. 

Finch is downright fun. This Piper Scott and Virginia Kelly read oozes quirkiness and humor. I couldn't put it down. And, ever better is the lead in to the next book. Squee!

Keep Me, Piper Scott's third book in the Rutledge Brothers series, is a sweet read, as a doula alpha falls in love with his patient's brother. 

Nate and Harrison are attracted to one another when they meet. Soon they develop a professional relationship and can't pursue anything more.

I enjoy all of this story. The pregnancy, the doula work, and the relationship that develops between Nate and Harrison. It's just a sweet story of falling in love.


Keep Me is a good tale of an alpha finding love and a family, something he never dreamt he could have.

Save Me, Piper Scott's second in the Rutledge Brothers series, is a good read. 

Silas grows an inappropriate attachment to the young omega, Elijah. Elijah is such a damaged soul, full of self-doubts and insecurities. He knows nothing other than life in a brothel. Elijah's an interesting character who's grown up believing Omegas are useless in society. 

As Silas, who's a rehab counselor for troubled omegas, longs to help out the young omega, the lines get blurred. Elijah's attracted to Silas who treats him right, and Silas is definitely attracted to Elijah. 

I love the ending, and the way they handled everything. Overall, these Rutledge Brothers books would make for an outstanding long series.

Save Me is a sweet story of healing; of gaining self confidence. This Piper Scott tale is an entertaining story of helping one to heal and to know their true strength.

I enjoyed Piper Scott's Love Me when I first read it. Upon re-reading it, I am reminded of how sweet it is.

Seth is under his abuser's control, as one of his top paying whore. Stuck working at a brothel, full of boys who were taken and forced into this life, Seth manages to escape. And Thaddeus is there to save him. 

Seth is so darn loveable, such a sympathetic character. And so darn brave. As a runaway, he faces danger, but it's never a scary thing, as things wrap up quickly.

Seth and Tad are good together, but their sex scene is way too fast. I definitely would have preferred more detail. 😜 

This story is one of reclaiming one's life, having the ability to choice. It's a story of falling in love with someone who not only loves you back, but who also saves you. Seth has a chance at a real life for a change, which is super sweet.

Love Me's a good story, but it's so short that I couldn't get as invested in it as I'd prefer. With just 99 pages, it's a super short, quick, insta-love romance.

Damn! Piper Scott's The Answer is more than I could have ever expected. An amazing addition to the Single Dad Support Group series, this book is everything I could have ever asked for with Knot's second chance at love.

I absolutely love this story, as it's fun, sweet, tender, and steamy. It has a wonderful age gap and sensational Daddy dynamics between a young man and his father's best friend. If that doesn't peak your interest, what more do you want?

Damien is as fantastic as always. I love the way he found the support group initially, and that he's been a part of their group for so long. His personality is large, and his antics are unforgettable. I could not stop laughing about the glitter wars. Omg, so damn funny. Lesson learned, don't mess with Damien; his revenge is epic!

And then there's Matthew. Omg, what a sweetheart. A single dad at a young age, he's insecure and hasn't come into his own yet. And his young daughter Emily is as adorable as it gets. 

Damien and Matthew end up being perfect for one another. Damien needs Matthew to ground him, and Matthew needs Damien's guidance and love to come into his own.

Their relationship involves many complications however. There's a struggle with acceptance, dealing with lost loves and facing fears. It touches on the struggles of youth, the pain of youth, and  the mistakes of youth. Their story involves pain, hurt, and scars. 

But don't despair, as heavy as things can be at times, this entire book is filled with humor, both light and full out hilarity. The snark and banter between the Single Dads is as good as ever, and you'll be laughing often.

As for the sex, holy hotness! The author is an expert at writing steamy scenes, and definitely doesn't disappoint with this couple. The Daddy play is more about their roles with each other in life than in the bedroom though, so don't expect some heavy Daddy kink.


It comes as no surprise that the writing is phenomenal. As usual, Piper creates an impressive storyline, with a whole lot of heart and depth. The characters are both loveable and interesting, and definitely complement one another perfectly. 

This Single Dad Support Group series is outstanding. Starting in The Problem, these strangers came together and eventually all find love and family in one another. It is beautiful, sweet, and inspiring. The comradery between the single dads is what everyone is looking for in a friend. I love the concept of this series, as well as the execution.  

The Answer will make you smile, think, and cry. And you'll love every minute of it. There's so much beauty in this story. But I think the ending with Damien is my favorite scene. It is just so perfect for these two and a beautiful display of their antics. I'm sad to see the series end.

The Promise is the fifth book in Piper Scott's Single Dad Support Group series. As usual, we get to visit with the former characters as well as getting a great new romance.

I love this series; everything about it. It's filled with humor as well as heart. It's full of complications and a whole lot of amazing couple with great children.

Poor Jayne  is suffering from the abuse his ex bestowed on him. His ex was manipulative and controlling, and Jayne can't get stop looking over his shoulder in fear. His life is tough enough, as he's raising his younger brother, in addition to his own baby. Considering himself damaged goods, he's hesitant to trust that Caleb and Everett actually see something worthy in him.

Jayne's background is heart-breaking. The abuse he suffered, and the amount of control his ex had over him is tragic. The whole thing is well developed, with a how lot of compassion.

When Caleb and Everett come along, a wonderful menage romance starts to bloom. It's tender, sweet, and romantic, as Caleb and Everett help Jayne to love again.

This triad is amazing together, as they protect, provide, and love one another. The balance between the three is perfectly written, as each man absolutely needs the other two. Everett and Caleb have been desperately in love with each other for a while, but they knew something was missing; they couldn't stay the a couple forever as they were. In Jayne, they've found the person who can connect them together, as he provides what each man has been lacking. This is menage at it's best, as they balance one another exquisitely.

The Promise is a tale of survival. Piper Scott's writing style is fantastic, as she pulls no punches. She expertly weaves a tale of ultimate love with a tale of abuse and danger. Ultimately, she tackles this tale about the power of love; both the power to destroy and the power to heal, in an impeccable manner. I am beyond impressed!
