Forbidden Friend by R. Cayden

At work, at home—my best friend’s twin brother is everywhere I look, tempting me.

Leo

Keep your filthy hands off my brother.
It’s Kai’s one rule before his brother moves into our condo. I tell him no problem; I can handle that.
He and River look identical, after all, and it’s not like I’m crushing on Kai.
Or anyone, for that matter. I’m a one-night-only type of guy.
And River is apparently the opposite: a hopeless romantic, totally incapable of staying single.
We’d be a disaster. So after he moves in, why is it that I suddenly can’t stop thinking about how good it feels to make him smile?
Why am I torturing myself, fantasizing about his touch?
My best friend’s brother is forbidden, but Kai is right.
I’m desperate to rub my filthy hands all over him.

Forbidden Friend is a sweet and steamy M/M romance with low angst. It features secret office hookups and two guys who keep stumbling into romantic temptation on the way to a very happy HEA. It can be enjoyed alone but is best appreciated as part of the His Best Friend’s Brother series

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Forbidden Friend is a fun, entertaining story by R Cayden. Part of the His Best Friend's Brother series, I found it easily read as a standalone.

Leo and his roommate Kai are best friends. When Kai invites his twin to stay with them, no one expects what develops.

What follows is a delightful romance between Leo and River, as the two fall for each other. Leo has never wanted a real relationship, while River has always been looking for love.

Good god, this is pure entertainment of falling for your best friend's twin. It's a roommates story with a wonderfully written forbidden aspect. It's a story with attraction, sneaking around, and heat.

Leo and River are adorable together. I just love every moment of them and the ending is fabulous. They are complete opposites who connect quickly and have a strong chemistry that can't de denied.

Personally, I absolutely love that Leo is attracted to River, after never finding himself even looking twice at River's twin. He can see the differences between the men quickly, making for a compelling read.

This is a story with self doubts, insecurities, and pain. It's a story of thinking one isn't worthy of love, until one man comes along and gives you the strength and confidence you need to accept yourself.

The writing is great, very fluid, with stellar dialogue. I love the characters and their flaws. The storyline is riveting and left me consumed throughout.

Forbidden Friend is a sweet tale. It's a quick story, delightfully entertaining, and perfect when you're in the mood for a light story with some angst.

The Geek and His Bad Boys by R. Cayden

Blurb

Can his tender heart handle their scorching passion?
Some people have to fight like hell for their love.
Striker and Dante? They come out swinging.

Frances:

I thought I was just going to get a tattoo.
It was so out of character. All of my gaymer friends thought I was going to chicken out because I’m afraid of needles.

But I was done being scared of things. I had spent enough of my life being scared.
Scared of bullies. Of my father.
Scared of every jerk who put me down.
The thing is, Striker and Dante? The tattoo artists?

They scare me.

They scare me because of how amazing it feels when I’m with them.
They scare me because, once we get together, I’m doing things I never thought I would do.
And most of all, they scare me because of how much they love each other.

Could I dare to be loved like that, too?
To be theirs?

The Geek and His Bad Boys is a 60,000+ word standalone MMM romance. It is a high heat novel, with loads of passion between our three men. Childhood bullies get faced down, a geek gets a spicy tattoo, and the story ends HEA for all three characters. Enjoy!

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

The Geek and His Bad Boys is a riveting menage romance by R Cayden.

It starts with a fight between Striker and Dante. A volatile couple, they run a tattoo shopt together and are suddenly discussing opening up their relationship. Their love is raw, intense, and passionate. Of course, opening their relationship causes rage and jealousy, and I loved it all.

Frances. Ahh, sweet Frances. Always scared of everything, he "mans up" and decides to get a tattoo. Meeting Striker and Dante scares him in a new way though. Extremely attracted to both men, letting loose just happens, ending up with his heart on the line.

And outstanding part of this tale is following Francis as he discovers that he loves the combination of pain and pleasure. Not just fun, it's also a huge development for his character.

The writing is amazing, alternating 1st person pov of all three men. Without all three povs, this story would not have been so amazing. Getting into the mindset of each man, of each connection, truly allows the reader to be invested throughout.

I absolutely love The Geek and His Bad Boys. Both emotional and hot, this is one amazing menage romance. I will definitely be re-reading this one.
