Danger threatens Cody and the life he has with Ronan. Maybe having two Daddies is safer?

Ronan's boy is an age-gap, no age-play gay romance with plenty of hot and steamy Daddy/boy action.
Intended for readers aged eighteen or over.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Ronan's Boy is one hell of a hot Daddy romance. This JJ Harper gem is part of the wonderful world of the Escape Club series, but it's easily read as a standalone.

And omg, what a story! I love every moment of it.

Cody and Harley are amazing together and their chemistry is off the charts. From their first meeting, to their developing relationship, to their sizzling threesome, every moment with these two is fabulous.

Their story includes a lot of learning how to navigate their needs and desires. It's an insta love story that also includes a stalker element.

Ronan's Boy is a must read if you're in the mood for a hot Daddy romance. This JJ Harper book will not disappoint.

Here Without You (Cooper's Ridge #2) by J.J. Harper

Archer Hawkins and Mallory Halston literally run into each other and a true love story is born. Archer pursues Mallory with absolute determination making him fall hook, line, and sinker.

“I really would like to get to know you, Mallory.” His voice husky in my ear.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea, I’m sorry.” I’m already kicking myself for turning him down. “That’s okay, I’ll ask again tomorrow, and the day after, I’ll get you to say yes in the end.”

But just when they’re about to get everything they ever hoped tragedy strikes leaving Mal alone and adrift. Putting his past behind him Mal stumbles upon Cooper’s Ridge. Changing his name to Carter, he takes a chance, becoming a bartender at The Last Drop Inn, and embarking on a new life.

Local attorney, Dan Mortimer, has finally found and captured the heart of Cooper’s Ridge’s newest resident, Carter.

“I was coming in to see you, and maybe get you to agree to dinner with me. C’mon Carter it’s only dinner, I’m a nice guy I promise.”

But when Dan’s college friend comes to town to recuperate after a horrible car accident, it seems the most important men in his life may have something to answer for. And just how far will an evil, conniving, homophobic mother with a vendetta go to bring them all down?

This book can be read as a standalone
Here Without You is a gay ménage story with plenty of hot sex and strong language and is therefore suitable for readers aged 18 and over.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Here Without You is the second book in Cooper's Ridge series. This JJ Harper book is a delightful menage romance.

This one starts off fast, as in extremely fast, with Archer and Mallory moving in together faster than I expected. But, there's a reason for that, as this story isn't about their initial time together.

I had mixed feelings about this one. It's tough to get emotionally invested in the relationships at first. All of the relationships. Each seems to just start with the sex, and later we get the emotional attachment.

But, in the end, I enjoy the story, the twists and turns, and the angst. As for the coincidences, they're over the top forced, but I'm able to overlook that.

This is a story with a manipulative mother, a homophobic father, and some wonderful redemption. The author excels in gifting these men with character growth and helping them to heal.

And damn, I love the three together. And the sex is amazingly hot. The three definitely make each other better people. Dan heals them and brings the others back together. It's beautiful.

Here Without You is a delightful menage. Ultimately, I enjoy this KK Harper read. It's messy and emotional, with a fabulous ending.

Denver's Calling (Cooper's Ridge #1) by J.J. Harper

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

This book has previously been released in 2017. It has been re-edited and extended, but the story hasn't changed.

When Denver’s long-term partner breaks up with him, he flees his life, his career, and his bright future as one of the country’s leading trauma surgeons. Ditching everything but his dog, Denver returns to the quiet town of Cooper’s Ridge and his parents’ ranch.

Leaving twelve years earlier, Denver knew he would never be accepted as a gay man in an unaccepting town. So, when he meets Kes—an old school friend—in the bar he owns, he is shocked to find him in an openly gay relationship. Something he never thought would happen here.

What surprises him even more is the instant, mutual attraction the three men have. Accepting a job in Kes’ bar, they dance around each other, wanting them but not believing he would ever fit in with a couple so obviously in love. But, they want him. And they are not prepared to let him go.

Denver takes a risk and accepts their offer of a night out, finding a side of himself he never knew existed. Not trusting himself to be enough for the two men, the desire blooming in him is unprecedented and he can’t deny it: he wants them as much.

He finds his life falling into place, all because of two men. Is it possible he found his forever in a place he never expected it?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Denver's Calling is a delightful menage romance. The first book in the Cooper's Ridge series by JJ Harper, it's a sweet, feel good, and effin smoking read.

Don't read this one in public though! Seriously, just don't even bother trying. It's not worth it.

This one caught my attention early on. The writing is easy and smooth and the characters charming. And hot. Hell, early on the author puts a hot glory hole image in our heads.

I enjoy Kas and East a lot. They're hot and ooze sex. They are strongly committed and easily get along. I enjoy their connection.

Then adding Denver into the mix, as both are attracted to him, just makes things better.

I adore the way everything develops. There's the instant attraction, amazing chemistry, and all the fears and doubts involved with getting involved with an established couple. The emotions are well explored and realistic.

As well, I appreciate the complications and fear of coming out as a throuple in a small town. Of course, the fact that a child is involved just complicates things. And then there's Denver's past experiences also causing him some problems.

Denver's Calling is a steamy menage romance. Everything about this JJ Harper tale works for me. I love it all!

Two men, one night, and the chance of a lifetime.

After a destructive relationship ended five years ago, Leo Ritchie hasn’t trusted himself or anyone else enough to try again. He has great friends and loves his job at BAR 28, and for now, it’s enough. That and the late-night online chats with @Brunobear.

Bruno Alderton, one of the most successful male models in the world, has had enough of the constant travelling, jet lag, long hours, and no one to come home to. He spends the lonely hours talking and swapping trivia with his online friend, @Leolion.

Being summoned home to attend his sister’s twenty-first birthday party may not as bad as he thought. Bruno finds the most gorgeous man he’d ever seen. The man he wants to have in his bed every night.

Leo knows he’ll only cause the beautiful man heartache. But the temptation for one night is too strong to resist.

What happens when they both realise they can have what they want with this stranger? Who will be the one to fight for them, and who will want to run away?

This is a sweet and sexy gay romance, filled with tender moments and emotions that will make your heart happy. Leo is the third book in the BAR 28 series and can be read as a standalone. This book is based in the UK and is written in British English. Please look inside the book for TW.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Leo is the third book in the Bar 28 series by JJ Harper. And damn, this ended up being so much deeper than I was expecting.

There are some serious issues addressed, making for an emotional read. I'm highly impressed with the author's ability to balance the serious with the light-hearted. There are plenty of sweet and sexy moments to keep everything balanced.

Before they ever met in person, Bruno and Leo start an online friendship, which involves some wonderful interactions.

Later, when they end up meeting in real life, they don't know they already know one another. It's cute seeing them deal with their suspicions and trying to navigate a few obstacles.

Bruno's a model whose dealing with some career decisions and a pushy agent. Leo's a bartender who immediately hits it off with the handsome model.

I love the men together. Obviously they are meant to be together. They mesh well and certainly are head over heels for each other. Their story isn't all easy, but I love seeing them end up together.

Their story includes a slew of interesting facts, which is adorable and entertaining.

Both characters are multi-layered and have a difficult past, making both sympathetic characters. The author illustrates some of the modeling industry's problems, as well as exploring the effects of being in an abusive relationship. Add in some other issues, and damn, you just want to save both these men from their pasts. I am still in awe of Leo and all he's survived.

Written in alternating first person pov, the characters are wonderfully developed and the storyline is great.

Leo is definitely a great choice the next time you're in the mood for a hurt/comfort read. This JJ Harper will definitely leave you impressed.

Your Kind of Man (HeavyLoad! #2) by J.J. Harper

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Jem Hayes has a penchant for lacy underwear and makeup.
Nate Allinson likes pretty men and spanking, preferably at the same time.

He doesn’t want a man for more than a scene.
He doesn’t want a warm body for more than one night.
He doesn’t want “more.”

Until Jem.

With his slim body and beautiful face, Jem pushes every one of Nate’s buttons.
After one night of passion and an empty bed in the morning, Nate knows Jem is the one.
Running out was the dumbest thing Jem could have done. He felt the connection but bolted all the same.

Fate brings them back together, but their relationship is put to the test when Jem’s ex returns.
Can Nate’s love heal Jem from his abusive past?

Your Kind Of Man is an MM romance and book two in the HeavyLoad! Series. It contains lots of lacy panties, numerous spankings, and plenty of sexy shenanigans.

The book can be read as a standalone but will be enhanced by reading book #1 My Kind of Man.

Warning: This book contains a small amount of violence.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Your Kind of Man is the second book in the Heavyload! series by JJ Harper. Book one, My Kind of Man, started the fun off with a hot age play read. This time we get a Daddy relationship that's not your typical Daddy read.

The series can be read as standalones, but the characters are all friends and appear in each others books, so just read them all and enjoy!

Jem and Nate's story is hot from the start. These two definitely have some amazing chemistry. But their relationship isn't all easy going.

Everything starts with a scene between them, and continues when they run into one another again. They naturally work scenes together well, and both find it all extremely hot.

Neither man is looking for a relationship, but everything just sort of leads them in that direction.

Jem is a pretty boy who loves lace, some makeup, fancy clothes, and heels. He's also a boy who's last relationship was abusive and has left him insecure about himself. He needs a Daddy in real life, and Nate is willing to try. But he struggles between being a Daddy versus a Dom. The angst that this brings about is natural and well explored, including the way Jem's past affects him with Nate.

I am impressed with the way the Daddy versus Dom is developed. It's not something I have read much of, and I found it interesting, as well as compelling. The result of their journey is some major character growth.

Jem and Nate are intense with their love. Their need, want, and connection jumps off the pages.

This tale has a major off page trigger, so avoid if rape is a hard no for you.

Your Kind of Man is a beautiful tale of learning to balance your boy's needs. JJ Harper perfectly explores the fine line between being a boy's Dom versus being his Daddy. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a unique Daddy romance.

My Kind of Man (HeavyLoad! #1) by J.J. Harper

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

An M/M age-play romance.

Michael knows what he wants. He wants a daddy.

When yet another attempt at a relationship fails, Michael decides to find himself his daddy. The one man that will care for him, nurture him, and love him for who he is. Twenty-six-year-old and successful in his career, Michael knows he’s missing out on life. He’s a quiet, introverted man with desires that seem too far out of his reach. Until he goes to Escape one night.

Callum is tired of being lonely. He has everything to offer the right man.

When forty-year-old Callum is encouraged to visit Escape, his hopes are high, but his expectancy of finding the perfect man is low until he sees a young man nervously looking around the club. Everything about him ticks Callum’s boxes. Shorter than his six-foot frame with blond curls that cry out to be stroked, and a look of anxious longing on his face. Callum is transfixed.
With only a few words exchanged, the two men are hooked, eager to explore everything they have ever dreamed of. Is this a life they can fulfill, or will they find too many obstacles in their way?

My Kind of Man is an age-play story and contains M/M sexual content, spankings, age play, ABDL.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Good god, I love My Kind of Man!  This JJ Harper book is a delicious age play read, diapers and all. I seriously just love it all! It's everything I would ask for in an age play romance.

Mikey wants to be a little every evening and on weekends. As Michael, he's responsible and works hard. But, as Mikey, he finds his peace.

And Callum is a wonderful Daddy, super nurturing and loving.

This is a whirlwind relationship, that starts with a scene in a club. The two men mesh quickly and early on develop into a full time relationship. And I love it.

Of course, there's some conflict and a tough time being "out" as little. I enjoy the mix between emotion, heat, and decisions.

My Kind of Man is a must read for fans of age play.  JJ Harper delights throughout this fabulous kink read. With this being the first book in the Heavyload! series, I am thrilled to move onto the rest of the series!

Our Kind of Man (HeavyLoad #4) by J.J. Harper

Amazon Link   - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

All good things come in threes

Malachi
One guy. Is that so much to ask? All I want is a man to love. I’ve been alone for so long.
I thought I’d found him; only he chose someone else.
Then I see them: two beautiful men, lost in each other. It’s a full month before I see them again. They’re so full of themselves. I shouldn’t want them. I hate myself for giving in. At first. Because after that one time, I want more. It was perfect.
If only I didn’t now work for them.

Logan and Corey
We’re happy together, deliriously so. Still, we can’t give each other everything we need. And playing with a third isn’t enough. We want more.
Then we see him: snarky, sexy, and beautifully submissive. He gives us one perfect night, and we know we’ve found our man.
If only we can convince him he’s our missing link.

We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we also knew it would be worth it.

Our Kind of Man is an MMM romance, the fourth book in the Heavyload! Series, featuring a sweet boy who can be as bossy as his masters. Contains some steamy moments, therefore is recommended for adult readers.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Our Kind of Man is a delicious BDSM menage romance by JJ Harper.

Logan and Corey are a loving couple, totally committed to one another. But they've always longed for the perfect sub to complete them sexually and as a unit. In Malachi, they meet the perfect sub for them, the perfect 3rd for their relationship. And the sex is amazing. But after a night with Malachi, things get complicated when it ends up that Malachi is their new employee.

Their tale starts with some exhibitionism and voyeurism, setting the scene for what's to come.

As for the developing relationship, there's plenty of complications in their way. Logan and Corey are relentless in their pursuit, with Malachi full of desires to be respected and independent. After a tough life, he desperately wants to ensure his job isn't in jeopardy. He is strong in setting his terms, which I love.

But damn, Logan and Corey don't have it easy. The men make a lot of mistakes, and struggle for Malachi to realize their feelings.

It's a great tale, full of ups and downs as the Doms try to explain to Malachi what they want. All the missteps are both entertaining and unique.

There are plenty of hot moments too, including a hot collaring ceremony.

Our Kind of Man is a hot read. JJ Harper brings plenty of emotion and heat to this sweet tale.
