Finn's Fantasy (Maine Men #1) by K.C. Wells

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

A secret desire

By day, Finn builds houses on the coastline of Maine. Afterhours, Finn dreams of the hot older guy who walks his chocolate lab on Goose Rocks Beach. The man of his dreams ticks all his boxes. Salt and pepper hair. Strong jawline. Blue eyes.
His dream man is perfect fantasy material. As for actually speaking to him?
As if. Their paths won’t ever cross, and the guy is probably straight.

A new chapter

Recently divorced Joel is finally living as a gay man, but he’s not sure he’s ready to jump into a relationship. That doesn’t stop him from noticing his new contractor’s muscular build, hewn from hard, physical work, or his storm-colored eyes. Or the way he wears his tool belt slung low on his hips. The icing on the cake? There’s more to Finn than good looks. Maybe he’s the perfect guy to share long walks on the beach and warm nights in front of a fire.

But it’s been twenty years since Joel was with a man. While he’s not forgotten how to flirt, he’s nervous about making a move.

Especially with Finn.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Finn's Fantasy is a fabulous romance by KC Wells. I seriously love it all. The first book in the Maine Men series, this looks to be a fabulous series.

It's compelling from the start, with a great group of friends and plenty of banter. Damn, I can't wait to see more of them all in the future. I always enjoy a fun group of friends.

The setting is wonderful, as Wells, Maine is a beautiful beach town. Even if you haven't been there, you'll fall in love with this small town.

Finn and Joel's romance is wonderful. Joel's newly divorced, and ready to explore his gay side. With Finn there's instant attraction and some hot first times. I adore the way the men become friends, and how perfect they are for each other.

There are new starts for Joel in his life, career, and love life. His journey towards coming out includes the terrifying task of coming out to his kids. His son is angry at him, blaming him for the divorce. But he also doesn't know the truth. This is all wonderfully done.

One of my favorite aspects of this story is the way Joel and his ex get along so well. They are best friends and she's extremely understanding and supportive of him.

Finn's Fantasy is a fabulous book. I love this KC Wells story. From start to finish, I couldn't put it down. I can't recommend it enough. I can't wait to see what comes next for the Maine Men!

Merry Measure is a fabulous romance by Lily Morton. From the start, it's super fun and adorable, sure to leave a smile on your face.

There is a lot to love about this romance. It's a brother's best friend romance. It has a family road trip. And the secondary characters are fabulous.

Jack and Alto's story is adorable, which a group of guys who are extraordinarily entertaining. They set off on a family trip and end up with some forced proximity, aka, a shared bed. The premise of the trip adds a ton of charm to the story. I just loved it all.

Their trip involves a group of guys who I adore and could read about forever, as well as an ex who's an ass. As for the family, of lordy, they are crazy in a wonderful way.

This is a tale with tons of snark and banter. It's full of crazy antics, chaos, accidents, and mishaps. And it's all marvelous.

The writing is superb, with everything fully coming to life, including the setting. The author had me smiling and laughing throughout.

Merry Measure is perfectly entertaining. Lily Morton combines plenty of humor with sweetness in this totally cute and heartwarming read. I absolutely love everything about this story. I can't wait to read it again.

Teaser 2

He laughs and makes his way out of the coffee shop, the crowd obligingly parting for him like he’s Jesus with a bread roll.

I follow him, attempting not to ogle the gorgeous swell of his bum in his jeans. It’s a losing battle and one I’ve fought since I was eleven and eating soup in the kitchen of my family home. Young Arlo had looked up and seen a vision at the door—Jack in sweaty football gear that clung to his fifteen-year-old body like glue. And then Young Arlo had promptly had several revelations about his sexuality. He’d had to shelve thinking about them for a few hours, however, because he inhaled a crouton and, while choking, fell over and knocked himself out on the kitchen table.

Not my finest moment, but looking back, not my worst either.

That summer, I spent several months following Jack and my brother around, much to my brother’s mystification, as we were at that point in our relationship where he frequently wanted to batter me. I ceased my youthful pursuit of Jack when two things happened. The first was that my brother threatened to pull off my arms and legs slowly and then tell mum, if I didn’t stop following him and impeding his wooing of his crush at the time. The second was that Jack got himself a girlfriend—Samantha Hampson. I’d wallowed in misery for at least a month, and then my natural optimism surfaced, telling me that he’d notice me soon and that Samantha was a total ho and unworthy of my beloved.

He never did notice me, of course. Samantha went the way of many of his girlfriends, and then, after he came out as bisexual, his boyfriends. They were all perfect-looking, and they dated exclusively and generally looked like something from toothpaste commercials. But invariably something went wrong, and they’d vanish, only to be replaced by the next perfect specimen.

I curl my lips at the thought of his latest one. Steven, who is spectacularly good-looking but also a complete twat. He’s cold and deeply possessive of Jack’s time, but Jack never seems to notice. My stomach roils a little at the thought that Steven has lasted longer than anyone else. Maybe this is it. They’ll get married and settle down and raise children or penguins, or whatever people in perfect relationships do.

Not that I’d know. My love life is as scatty as my timekeeping, and my partners have all largely become the stuff of family legends—hilarious stories to be related at family parties to newcomers, like the time my boyfriend from university got stupendously drunk and refused to talk to anyone apart from our family dog. After a full weekend of deep and meaningful chats, Fee-Fee looked like she was glad to see the back of us when we went back to uni.

I don’t think I ever expected Jack to look at me, though. I’m his best friend’s little brother. The nuisance whose knees he patched up after a fall and who he tried to teach how to fish until he had to give up when I fell in the river. He’d never look at disastrous me.

Unfortunately, even with this knowledge, I’ve never been able to completely shelve my youthful infatuation. Maybe because it was first love—intensely painful when it happens to you, like slamming your head into a kitchen table, but bits of it linger in lines on your heart. Maybe it’s also because he’s a genuinely lovely person, inside and out. He’s kind and thoughtful and clever and has never talked down to me.

Home For Christmas, A Finding Home Christmas Novel by Carly Marie

Amazon Link  - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Chaos disguised as Christmas has arrived, and it’s brought all the Scott brothers home.

Derek is always looking for a reason to spend time with his brothers, and Jasper, Greg, and Harrison’s upcoming wedding means that they need a party to celebrate. And how better to do that than to invite his brothers to Tennessee? But what happens when his husband, Colt, starts thinking their house may be too small for so many people? Is it true that the more really is the merrier?

After a whirlwind trip to Tennessee—and a lingering hangover—there’s no rest for Ty or Declan who jump right back into life in California with their twins and work. Long hours at the office and busy days with the kids makes arriving in Oklahoma that much sweeter. But when Declan’s past comes back into his life, will it ruin the trip?

For better or worse, Jasper’s family finally made it to Oklahoma, and the house has never been so full, or festive. Spending time with his brothers isn’t anywhere near as stressful as it used to be, but a freak snowstorm is. As the storm grows and snow piles up, it threatens to keep Greg’s family from Oklahoma and Jasper, Harrison, and Greg’s wedding. The three are going to need a true Christmas miracle to pull off the wedding of their dreams. But is that one wish too big, even for Christmas magic?

Home for Christmas is the 67k word follow-up novel to the Finding Home series. Catch up with all the Scott men and follow Derek, Colt, Ty, Declan, as they head home to spend Christmas with Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. Expect naughty gifts, sexy times, and unwavering love and acceptance while the Scotts celebrate as only they can.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Carly Marie's Home For Christmas is absolutely wonderful. I have no clue how to do this book justice. If you're a fan of the Finding Home series, this book will be one of the best books you've ever read.

We get to spend time with all the Finding Home men, as they get together to celebrate the holidays, as well as a family wedding. Each couple gets their time as the focus, although all three couples are around throughout.

First we get Derek and Colt, with so many tender age play moments. These two continue to delight. It's fascinating to see them navigate between adult time with the kids, to little time. And, omg, the way all the other men accept and help with Derek's little time is just the best.

Next we get Ty and Declan, and a peak into their kink. They have to balance their love of lace and silk with their family time. Their kids are precious and seeing the men get a time away from work is as good as I was hoping it would be.

Finally there's Jasper, Greg, and Harrison. And their wedding! Everything about them will melt your heart. It's just fabulous and includes one hell of a wedding gift.

In general, the Scott family is the best! I love everything about them and wish I could be a part of the fun personally. Getting to spend more time with them is truly a gift. The chaos, the abundance of family, and all the kink adds up to be a most wonderful of Christmases indeed.

Their story includes diapers, binkies, lace, double penetration, and more. And it couldn't have been any better! Seriously, the way the men support one another, and are comfortable around each other, is truly all I could ever ask for from them.

Overall, Home for Christmas quickly became one of my favorite holiday reads. Carly Marie went above and beyond to give us a look into one of the sweetest and kinkiest Christmases ever.

When baby makes three, Christmas will never be the same for Ten and Jared.

There's not much that Tennant Rowe hasn't accomplished, and all before reaching thirty. Hoisting the Cup, marrying the man of his dreams, and becoming a spokesman for LGBTQ2+ athletes' rights have filled his world with great joy. While his successes on and off the ice have been beyond his wildest expectations, he's now wondering if it's time to add one more tiny addition to his already wonderful life.

Being a dad to Ryker and marrying Ten are the two of the best things in Jared's life, only something is missing. He always wanted more children, but with Ten and the Railers riding a wave of success, how could he even broach the subject of adoption or surrogacy with the man he loves? Jared would give the moon and the stars to his husband, so when Ten reveals his desire to be a father, they start a journey that will fill their Christmas with a new and special kind of love.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Baby Makes Three is a fantastic addition to the Harrisburg Railers series. This RJ Scott and VL Locey series is one of my all time favorites.

I love every single second of this book and series. Every time I open one of these books, I am immediately brought back into this amazing world, full of fantastic men and their families. Diving into each book is like coming home and spending time with my own family. I couldn't ask for more.

This time around, we join in as Ten and Jared are trying for a baby. If you've been following my reviews of this series, as well as the prior series, I love Ten. Love him. He is one of my all time favorite characters. With him and Jared wanting a baby, this is just pure icing on top of the fun.

Their story is heartfelt, humorous, and sweet as can be. It's perfectly charming and feel good. It's the perfect combination of surrogacy issues, baby excitement, parenthood, hockey moments, and sizzling scenes.

Of course the authors gift us with great appearances from other characters, including their hilarious teammates. Stan! And Jared! Oh dear lord, I love Jared! Not only do we get appearances, we also get updates, including a hint about Ryker's future.

Baby Makes Three is more than I could have ever hoped for. RJ Scott and VL Locey delighted me with events I never knew I needed in my life. It just doesn't get any better then this series. Simply put, one can't go wrong with this writing duo, as no one tells a hockey romance any better. If you haven't yet read this series, do yourself a favor and go back and start now!

Rhone's Rebel (The Road To Rocktoberfest #5) by T.L. Travis

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Rhone Horne, drummer for the band Embrace the Fear, bleeds rock ‘n roll. Being the son of legendary drummer Sage Horne, the first time Rhone picked up his father’s old drumsticks, he knew he was destined to follow in his footsteps. But filling such big shoes would not come easily.

Ely Pearcy, made a promise to himself on his eighteenth birthday that he would never again hide who he was. His love of lace, silk, and six-inch heels got him banned from his childhood home the day he graduated high school. Alone and penniless, Ely sought solace in a local LGBTQA+ shelter amongst his peers.

Rhone’s Rebel is the 5th book in the multi-author Road To Rocktoberfest series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why not stay and enjoy the whole show? If you like scorching tales of hot rock stars and the men who love them, then you’ll adore the untamed musicians of Rocktoberfest!

Rhone’s Rebel takes place between Derek’s Destiny, book 2 and Jaxson’s Nemesis, book 3 of the Maiden Voyage series.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Rhone's Rebel, the fifth book in The Road to Rocktoberfest, is a fun rocker romance. As TL Travis' contribution to this multi-author series, we get yet another great look into this rock festival and all the men involved.

Rhone and Ely certainly don't make a typical couple. Rhone's the hot rocker. Ely's the makeup wearing, androgynous chef on the tour. Both men are at the start of their careers. Rhone trying to make it big with his band while Ely's trying to graduate culinary school and start his career as a chef.

The opposites factor is large for these two. Ely's backstory and lack of self esteem broke my heart. The poor young man believed every word his father ever spat his way. His anxiety attacks are fully brought to life, with the reader easily feeling his pain. Meanwhile Rhone is far from being on his own. Not only does he have a large support system with his music friends, but his family is wonderful too.

I love the way Rhone cares for Ely and wants to help him. Ely's need for independence is definitely annoying, but also understandable.

As for the physical aspect, good god, the attraction is strong. Ely's virgin status and lack of sexual knowledge adds a lot of heat to their story. Add in some lace manties and wow. I seriously enjoyed the steam!

As I've come to expect from this author, the writing is fabulous. I was immediately draw to the men and their stories. The character development is marvelous and their storyline is emotional and compelling. The reader is easily brought into every thought and emotion throughout, including those suffocating anxiety attacks.

Overall, Rhone's Rebel is a wonderful romance by TL Travis. I love everything about this book and look forward to reading it again. And, omg, the author left us with a sneak treat of what's to come in the next book. I can't wait.

Always Together: An M/M Daddy Romance (The Boys of Talbert Hall #2) by Quinn Ward

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

They’ve been best friends since they were little. Can their relationship survive the secrets one of them has been keeping?

No one believes Matt when he swears he and his roommate are just friends. That probably has something to do with the way he looks at Brandon when he thinks no one is watching and the fact Brandon doesn’t balk whenever Matt teasingly calls him Daddy.

Everything changes when they go home for winter break…

Brandon doesn’t like the feeling that Matt’s pulling away from him. He’s always been the person Matt leaned on when he felt scared and alone, but he’s barely seen his best friend since dropping him off at his mom’s for the break.

They can’t hold out any longer…

Once Brandon forces him to open up, Matt finally admits he wants something more from Brandon. He never expected his friend’s reply to be a mind-blowing kiss. But just being together isn’t enough…

The more Matt reveals, the closer he pushes Brandon to his limits. Will he be able to accept Matt’s need to regress or will that be the secret that destroys their friendship?

Always Together is the second book in The Boys of Talbert Hall, the newest series set in the kinky town of Annandale. If you’re in the mood for the perfect combination of silly, sweet, and spicy, you’re going to love watching Matt try to wiggle his way into Daddy’s heart.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Holy crap! Always Together is a freaking awesome friends to lovers romance. This Quinn Ward book, the second in The Boys of Talbert Hall series, is even better than I could have ever anticipated.

In the first book, Rooming Together, we met Matt and Brandon and had a sense of their relationship. Now we get the details. (If you haven't read Jayden and Ash's story yet, make sure you do so after reading this book. It is a sexy, delicious age play romance.)

Seriously, I love everything about this book. First there's the longing and pining. There's cartoons and "daddy." Then there's the confessions and the start of a riveting romance with all the complications involved.

The friends aspect is wonderfully established early on. College roommates and life long best friends, there's so much history between the two. They grew up together. Their families celebrate the holidays together. Basically, there's a lot to lose if things go wrong for these two. It's truly beautiful how close they are. And, damn, I love the parents.

And then there's the Daddy aspect. Oh...I just love this. The two were clearly in these roles before, without even acknowledging it. But with the acknowledgement of it, and all that's involved in the lifestyle, I fell madly in love with these men. I love the way they explore, learning what's involved with a Daddy/boy relationship. And the emotions are so well written.

And omg, when they do get together, they are so damn hot together. I love the small little changes with them, and all the steamy moments.

Always Together is one of those special college romances that I knew early on would be added to my re-read list. I love every single moment with these men. Quinn Ward is an amazing writer who continues to impress me with every one of their books.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - Sugar and Ice (Arizona Raptors #4) by RJ Scott & VL Locey

Arizona Raptors Series

Book #1 - Coast to Coast - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Book #2 - Across The Pond - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Book #3 - Shadow and Light - Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

When love is on the line, the worst decisions can end up having the best endings.
Tate Collins, an all-American hockey phenomenon, was the highly marketable face of Dallas hockey. Loaded down with endorsements and playing his best game, he was a superstar and a household name. No one ever expected him to fail, but overnight, after the worst decision of his life, everything spirals out of his control. Abruptly, his reputation is in tatters, and he’s traded to the Arizona Raptors in a shocking move. Brushing off the wild and unfounded accusations that he faces on social media, and stuck on the second line, he keeps his head down and works hard to earn his spot. Tate knows he can make a difference if only his teammates would let him. Something has to change for him to earn their respect, but falling for the captain might not be his best move.

Vladislav Novikov has been called many things over his long and illustrious career, but the new nickname of Iceberg seems to fit best. Perhaps it’s due to his icy blue eyes, or the way he rams into opposing players as he defends his goalie. Or maybe it’s because of his cool demeanor when not playing the game he loves. Whatever the reason, it’s why he’s the perfect team captain for this wild bunch of puck-pushers. His perfectly controlled life is smooth as ice until Tate Collins rides into Tucson with his apple pie ways and those damn dimples. The young superstar immediately catches his eye. Despite knowing better than to start something with a teammate, the big, bad Iceberg is about to have that chilly veneer around his heart melted away by Tate one sweet kiss at a time.

___________________________________________________________________

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Sugar and Ice, the fourth book in the Arizona Raptor's series is fabulous. This RJ Scott and VL Locey series never disappoints. I love hockey, I love romance, and I love the combo. Thus, I am always thrilled for these two authors to write another hockey romance.

Vlad is the Russian captain of the team, and Tate's the young star who made one big mistake. Both men have well developed back stories, and each man is extremely lovable.

Their story is one with an intense attraction, and they complement one another perfectly. But they are also two men who can't come out publicly with their relationship.

Each man has is own issues to deal with. Good god, the mess with Tate's ex is crazy, yet so damn believable, as she is just a crazy fame whore. As for Vlad's fears of coming out, they are realistic and saddening, all coming from a good place.

Their story is low angst, with plenty of steam with some light BDSM, including some Dom/sub play.

The authors throw in some great humor to offset the troubles these men are facing. This is seriously worth a read just for the banter between Vlad and his brother. Hysterical stuff! I want a whole book of just them exchanging barbs.

Told in dual pov, the reader is easily able to be brought into the mindset of each character. The authors explore the downside of being famous, in this tale of found family. I love the continued appearances of the other players, as this is part of what makes this series so spectacular.

Sugar and Ice is a stellar read. RJ Scott and VL Locey are at the top of their field when it comes to writing hockey romances. I love this book and I love these authors. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

62k words

Story Contains: M/m sexual content, playful use of the term Daddy, BDSM elements, spanking, a mischievous switch, a fun adult toy store, and a man who always thought he was straight.

Author’s Note: There is no age play in this book, although Derek loves to drive Sean crazy about their age difference

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

The Only Way to Live is a delicious best friend's father romance mixed with some spicy BDSM. This MA Innes book is absolutely tender and exquisite.

The story of Derek and Sean, these two have a long, interesting past that includes a whole lot of shameless flirting. Derek's long been after Sean, the father of his friend Ethan.

I just love the dynamics in this story. Derek's a switch who works to wear down the older man, working for him to see what they can have together. Sean is not easy to win over, as he struggles with the age difference, which I enjoy a lot.

Their story is fantastic, with great chemistry and fun changes in their long time friendship. Their story includes some hot scenes, including some luscious first times. It's refreshing the way that the younger man is able to introduce his older love interest to the world of BDSM.

Derek, oh Derek. He's delightful as can be, full of spark, sass, and a dominant side. I love, love, love the way his switch aspect is illustrated. As for Sean, some of my favorite scenes are the awkward ones, as Derek pushes Sean into new situations.

The secondary characters are fabulous, adding a nice dose of humor to the tale. Jules, oh how I love Jules and his little side. Just being friends, Derek completely understands Jules, supports Jules, and looks out for him. And wow, Sean's scenes with Jules are absolutely beautiful. Dear god, I love Jules, and these moments make me love Sean even more.

The sex shop is awesome, including some hot moments and cameos of past characters. Seriously, I love the cameos!

The writing is perfect, with a tone and voice I find soothing. The author excels in combining romance, steam, and character growth. Written in dual pov, the reader easily slips into the minds of both men, gaining fantastic insight into their feelings. As much as one might love a lot of hot sex in their books, it's the emotions involved with this one that makes it so damn fantastic.

The Only Way to Love is a great read. It's a warm, comfy read that will also leave you fanning yourself often. It's truly a beautiful read, full of a heart-warming romance, mixed with plenty of steam and humor. I highly recommend this MA Innes read!
