Sierra Hill finishes off her amazing Smoky Mountain Trio series with Reckless Hearts. And what a fantastic ending!

Over the years, Cam, Sage and London have gone through a lot, but they remain madly in love with one another and desire living as a trio.

One of the best things about this series is the way each book was told from a different character's point of view. It is unique and so well done, getting us to understand each character perfectly.

In Reckless Hearts, we hear from Sage, who has never been able to have what he really wants. He wants Cam, who left him, along with London who could never fully commit to just the two of them being together.

The story of Cam, Sage and London is one of true love, where years have been wasted as they lived separate lives, but they are still unable to say no to each other when they are needed. They have a shared history with a love that can't be broken.

Sage's background is horrific, as he grew up in a house full of hate and abuse, and then spent three years in jail.

We learn that sometimes we hurt those we love, for their own good; we push them away to save them.

As Cam is injured, Sage and London are needed to help bring him back to the land of the living. They are also dealing with the ramifications of Cam's pending divorce.

Did I mention that this story is Hot? Well, it is. Very smoking hot!

Sierra Hill's Smoky Mountain Trio is absolutely addicting and I am thrilled with the way Reckless Hearts finished the series.

I've never read a Nikki Ash book before, but I am thrilled to have discovered her latest, Unbroken Promises. This one immediately grabbed my attention, as well as my heart, unable to put it down until I was finished.   

This story is complex, as it involves three best friends, Delilah, Cole and Xavier, following them through over twenty years. The three became family to each other at an early age, promising to always be there for one another.

Through the years, Cole and Xavier support and care for Delilah as she struggles with cancer. Their bond is strong and unbreakable, until things get to be too complicated for Xavier and he leaves. 

Until he needs to return. And nothing is the same. They had all met at a time when they needed each other, and they seem to make their way back to each other at a time when Delilah needs them the most. They had always helped her to escape her reality, but no one ever mentioned the future. Sadly for them all, Cole had made a promise to his mother than he won't allow himself to break. 

There are multiple different sexual relationships among the three, and I have to admit that the scenes are emotional and hot! We also see how love is sometimes not enough. 

Unbroken Promises will make you cry, make you smile, and make you cry some more. As in a big, fat, ugly cry. You'll get to rejoice in the depth of their love for each other, and you'll cry at the depth of their despair and their all consuming grief. Nikki Ash does a spectacular job of creating these characters and developing their complex lives over such a long span of years. This is one book I will be sure to read again!

Reckless Youth is one of those books that sucked me in immediately and still won't let go of me. I felt every darn feeling and emotion all the way to my soul.  I cannot praise this Sierra Hill book enough. 

London, Cam and Sage. One girl and two boys. Best friends since they were five. As adolescence starts to change their bodies, it also changes their feelings. But the bond between them is strong and impenetrable. 

As London starts to feel things for both of her best friends, she discovers that they reciprocate the feelings. Eventually London makes it clear to them that she wants them all to be together. Of course, a threesome between young adults is not about to go over easily. They face town rumors and bullying, all as they are about to separate for college. 

And, wow, does Sierra Hill know how to create great characters! Sage is the town's troubled boy, as he's poor and lives alone with his alcoholic father. But, to London, he's thoughtful, considerate and loyal. London wants to protect his tenderhearted and tortured soul from the cruelty of the world. And then there's Cam, who's the strong superhero of their group. Everyone loves Cam, respects Cam, and expects him to be successful. As for London, she is just their best friend, someone who would do absolutely anything for them, and would give them anything.

The whole story is written expertly in first person narrative of London, making the reader experience every thought and moment as if they were London. You'll laugh, you'll smile, you'll be mad, you'll be sad, and you'll be left with your heart in pieces.

It is so darn well written, with an amazing pace, and an absolutely gripping and emotional tale. The tone of the story is wonderful, the pace is addictive, and you'll be up reading late into the night. 

And, holy crap, the steamy scenes are positively amazing! They are HOT! Definitely don't read this in a waiting room with people around. Enjoy this book when you're alone, able to react to everything the way that you want to. I, for one, was not expecting so much heat.

Honestly, I don't have the words. I have no clue how to explain how much I enjoyed this story. Maybe I should just say "Reckless Youth, oh how I love thee!"

Be warned though, that Reckless Youth ends with a cliffhanger. So now I am oh-so-impatiently waiting for the next book in this Sierra Hill series! It can't come quick enough!!
