There are certain books that make you feel like you're coming home. Cooper Creek is definitely one of them.

I love Sawyer's Ferry; the atmosphere and the people. I love the landscape and the picturesque outings. I immediately felt like I belonged there and was one of the townsfolk. Putting Frankie into this small Alaskan town is a phenomenal concept, making for some hysterical moments. He's a sassy and sparkly big city guy who stands out in Sawyer's Ferry.

In Alaska to plan Greg and Holden's wedding, Frankie never expects to find a man for himself. Meeting the closeted Barrett, changes everything. Frankie and Barrett are complete opposites who feel an immediate spark. They come from different worlds, have nothing in common, yet somehow they just connect. And they work so damn well together.

It's just a temporary relationship as Frankie's set to return to NYC. It's beautiful the way they start to develop feelings beyond their casual thing. Neither man fits into the other's world, and a long distance, opposite coasts relationship isn't an option for them. I love stories like this, as they happen all the time.

Their relationship is one of taking chances and chasing dreams. Their options, decisions and choices are all realistic and relatable. There's some great humor involved, as Frankie helps Barrett tackle all of his disorganization like a champ.

Damn! I love the ending, as it's just perfectly enchanting and romantic.

Cooper Creek is delightful, sweet and tender. It's a definite re-read for me.

I love Cate Ashwood's town of Sawyer's Ferry. Bishop Ridge is the second book of this series. and it has that wonderful small town I love. 

Two men, complete opposites, that fall in love in Alaska. Hell yes! Logan's grown up in Sawyer's Ferry, has a solid base of friends and family, and he loves it. Jackson, meanwhile, has grown up as a nomad, and can't phathom ever putting down roots. 

Of course, meeting Logan causes Jackson to realize how lonely his life is. And when they start their casual relationship, neither expects feelings to evolve. Their relationship was never meant to be long-term, thus leaving Jackson terrified of his feelings for Logan.

I was hooked from the beginning, and loved every second of this tale. It took me on both an emotional and enjoyable journey.

Their story is sweet, with some great character backgrounds. If you like small town stories, you'll be sure to enjoy Bishop Ridge. Reading this Cate Ashwood tale is a great way to spend a few hours.

All He Ever Needed, by Cate Ashwood is a great fun, feel-good romance!

Ethan and Jase grew up together, but it isn't until Ethan breaks up with his long time girlfriend that they realize how much they really mean to one another. When Jase learns of the breakup, he whisks Ethan away to let him get a breather as he tries to recover.

During this trip away, Jase suddenly sees Ethan in a new light. At first, Jay's caught off guard by Ethan's confession that he is gay, as he feels betrayed, thinking he knew everything about his friend. But, as he gets used to this idea, he starts to realize that he has feelings for Ethan, despite the fact that he's never looked at a guy sexually before. 

Ethan meanwhile, is struggling, trying to figure out what he wants his future to look like. As the two men come together, they both have a whole lot of fears to face, and questions to consider. As readers, we get to follow along as they try to figure out if and how they can mesh their lives together. The issue of evaluating if their new relationship transfers to the real world, is well developed, and realistically explored. 

All He Ever Needed is well written, moves quickly and has a great flow.
Cate Ashwood not only gifts us with this good story, but excels at forcing the men to find their way in this new reality, both individually and as a couple.
