Omega Untamed (The Omega Misfits #6) by Wendy Rathbone

Amazon Link  - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Kee is a beautiful Omega and popular rent boy living in a part of Old Town called the Trenches. He’s also an untamable addict.

Wild and troubled, Kee is kidnapped by Alpha drug lords who think he knows too much.

Trapped, Kee longs for a way out of the hole he’s dug for himself...but who would rescue a crazy Omega sex worker?

One Alpha will. His name is Bast. Bast knows he can’t tame Kee through kindness, but he still wants him for his very own.

Kee needs an Alpha who will take control, hold him down, keep him from the worst of himself. Turns out, Bast is the very man for the job.

Non-shifter omegaverse, mpreg, rescue, an uninhibited Omega, a tough Alpha with a heart of gold, daddy care, bonding/knotting and HEA.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Omega Untamed, the sixth book in The Omega Misfits series, is great. Wendy Rathbone continues to entertain with this story. This can be read as a standalone, but is best read following Omega Chattel, where we spend time learning Kee's background.

Kee is a man of the streets. He sells himself, runs drugs, etc. Everyone knows who he is but his life is upended when he's taken captive. He finds himself in trouble, but luckily one of his captures is on his side.

Bast is one of the men tasked with kidnapping Kee. He's a gangster who sees something special in Kee, showing him some humanity and compassion. And ultimately he tries to save his life.

This is a story with danger, suspense, and intrigue. There's a tough to read, detailed, intense drug withdrawal.

Written in alternating 1st person pov, this is well written, with an intriguing storyline. The characters are well developed and their complex nature well established.

Omega Untamed is not an easy, happy read. But Wendy Rathbone will leave you satisfied with a happy ending for this unlikely couple. I couldn't put it down.

Omega Chattel (The Omega Misfits #5) by Wendy Rathbone

At Zilly’s Chattel Farm, Alli is seen as an upstart Omega. But in reality, he is the victim of a brutal house-dad who wants to control him. Threatened with being institutionalized when he turns eighteen, Alli runs away.

Tarin is an Alpha who runs a small school from his own home for wayward Omegas. Three or four students at a time are all he can handle and his home is full. But when he meets Alli on the streets, he is compelled to bring him home.

Alli wants a better future for himself, better than selling himself on the streets, so he agrees to be a student, when what he really wants is Tarin himself. Tarin doesn’t sleep with his Omega students, and the one exception he made broke his heart.

But Alli is persistent. And not only does Tarin have a weakness for broken young men, there seems to be a spontaneous bond forming between them. The combination is turning hotter faster than they can keep up.

Non-shifter omegaverse, fated mates, age gap, virgin, knotting/bonding, high steam, HEA.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Omega Chattel, the fifth book in The Omega Misfits series, is a delightful omegaverse read.

This is a wonderful read, as Alli escapes the omega chattel and is searching for safety outside. Meeting Tarin sets his life off on a new path.

Alli's past is well established, with the pain and suffering he saw and experienced. Tarin's past is also well explored, as he is a savior who likes to help omegas who need his help.

This one is a little different than the typical fated mates read. This isn't that instant "My Fated Mate!" moment. Rather, the smell of one another is part of what attracts them. But, these two connect when Tarin helps Alli, and eventually they realize they're fated mates. It's definitely a more realistic take on the aspect, despite nothing being realistic about Omegaverse stories. 🤣

There's plenty of emotion, as Tarin has been "in love" with a different omega. But, damn, these two are meant to be and are great together. Their story has a lot of heat once they make a move.

I continue to enjoy the author's writing style. Written in alternating 1st person pov, the reader follows the main characters feelings and motivations throughout. The world building continues to be an important part of this series, and the author does a great job with adding to this world each book.

Omega Chattel is an enjoyable read. This whole Wendy Rathbone series is definitely recommended to any fans of non-shifter omegaverse romances.

Single Omega Dad (The Omega Misfits #4) by Wendy Rathbone

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

My new financial guardian, Mathias, is a cold, self-centered, rude-ass Alpha and the son of one of the wealthiest men in the country.

To him, I am a burden on society, only fit to live on a chattel farm. It doesn’t matter that I’m drawn to him, to his ominous presence and chiseled jaw, his muscular body in his fitted silk suits. I’m a single dad with kids and responsibilities -- I don’t have time for that rich bastard.

He keeps coming by the house so I can sign documents, fine. But then he’s got cute gifts for my kids. It’s got to stop. I don’t have time to fix him. Don’t have time to fall in love with an Alpha right now.

A non-shifter Alpha/Omega love story with mpreg, a single widower Omega dad, an Alpha who cannot knot, emotional issues, two adorable identical twin boys, and an HEA.

Some characters from "Trust No Alpha" make appearances in this novel, however, this book is a standalone read.

My Rating - 5  Stars!

Single Omega Dad is a book that drew me in from the start and I couldn't read it fast enough. Sometimes the right book falls into your lap at the right time. This Wendy Rathbone book did just that for me. The fourth book in The Omega Misfits series, it's easily read as a standalone and it is amazing!

It didn't take long for Mathias and Saber to win me over. There's tension and animosity from the start. Oh, the tension is all consuming. The attraction and connection are exquisite. And that first kiss!!!

Mathias and Saber are a gruff alpha and a self sufficient omega. The alpha is a bank manager who has kept to himself too long, in fear of his secret getting out. His secret? He's unable to knot. The omega has a set of twins, with another set of twins on the way. He resents the way society treats omegas.

And then there are the kids. Omg, I love Saber's kids from the first time we meet them. He is a great dad and I adore everything about these kids to pieces. As for Mathias's treatment of them, wow, just wow. He's never liked kids, making it absolutely heart melting the way he naturally softens towards Tybor and Luke.

This is a story of two men who have never known such heat, lust, and need. And omg, I love these men. And damn, they're fucking combustible together.

The writing is wonderful, with intriguing characters who go against the norm and an emotional storyline. The pace is smooth and I couldn't read it fast enough.

I love, love, love this story. Everything about Single Omega Dad is delightful. The tension. The desire. The conflict. The sex. The kids. The pregnancy. Everything. I couldn't devour this book fast enough.

Alpha's Embrace (The Omega Misfits #3) by Wendy Rathbone

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

I am Misha.

My name was given to me at birth by the doctor who delivered me. I have never known my parents. I live in a ten by ten space with one window, a sink and toilet, a bed and a locked door. Once a day I’m taken to an outdoor exercise area. I am allowed a limited access tablet and tutored online by computer programs. I have one friend I talk to through a tiny crack in the wall. His name is Cedric and he has trouble keeping himself quiet. When he isn’t talking to me about monsters and demons, he screams all the time.

Why is my life so isolated and depressing? Because I am a Sylph. Sylphs are the byproduct of illegal Omega to Omega matings. We are all beautiful, but 99.9% are born insane. The rarest of Sylphs, like me, show no outward signs of madness or brain damage, but we live in institutions because we cannot be trusted.

All of us Sylphs who have lived long enough to pass through puberty have hypersexual disorder which makes life even more difficult for us, let alone our keepers. It is like something Alphas call the Burn, a mating urge Alphas experience once every couple of months.

But we’re Sylphs, not Alphas, and this Burn thing? We experience it all the time. It’s a huge problem and why we are kept isolated. Most of us don’t survive through our teens because of it.

One day, a handsome Alpha comes to interview and study me. He calls himself the Chief of Staff but his real name is Geo. Like magic, I fall in love with him instantly. I do everything I can to seduce him. He will have none of it because touch between an Alpha and a Sylph is taboo. But I have plans. No matter what, I intend to bond him and make him mine. Forever.

A non-shifter Alpha/Omega-Sylph love story of forbidden love, rescue, and HEA. Standalone read. No Mpreg. 58k words.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Wendy Rathbone's Alpha's Embrace, the third book in The Omega Misfits series, is a fantastic read. It's easily read as a standalone, but reading the previous books adds to the fun.

I found myself wanting to cry from the start, as Geo reminisces about being separated from Mace. My investment in these characters is immediate and strong.

Misha suffers in hypersexuality, cuffed and trapped in his own castle, as is the case for Omegas. He's a man who knows love, loving everyone he meets, but never having been in love. As as the story goes on, and we learn more about Misha, I found myself extremely impressed with his character. The way he makes the best of his situation is fascinating. He is truly a breathe of fresh air in a dark world.

This is a story with Sylphs, in a world with a saying "Take a Sylph to bed, Tomorrow wake up dead." Thus sets the setting for this story.

But Geo, the new Chief of Staff feels something is different about Misha, believing he's been wronged. His connection to the sylph is immediate and strong.

I honestly adore this story. I love that their connection goes against everything people expect. I love that their bond is all that matters. And I enjoy the fight to be together. The writing is fabulous, written with dual pov, allowing the reader to fully get into the minds of both men, which is absolutely necessary to tell this story correctly.

Alpha's Embrace is a fantastic, fun escape to a different type of world. Wendy Rathbone's Omega Misfits created world is intriguing, well rounded, and a lot of fun to explore. This emotional story of forbidden romance is sure to entertain. And the entire series is thrilling!

The Alpha's Fake Mate (The Omega Misfits #2) by Wendy Rathbone

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Blurb

The Alphas think they own everything. Including people. Well, I’m here to say they don’t own me, and I will never let one of those bastards touch me again.

The frenzy of their Burn cannot be trusted. I know from experience. My first time with an Alpha nearly ended in my death. And because of the laws which favor Alpha rights, and place a large number of unbonded, adult Omegas on chattel farms, my abuser can never be tried for his crimes against me.

Omegas are being hurt. Omegas are dying.

All Alphas are violent. Or so I believe. Until I meet Orion.

Ori is everything a guy could want in a mate. Six foot three. Beautiful brown wavy hair. Bright, dark eyes. Muscles like chiseled marble. He even says “please” and “thank you” at all the right times. He’s got it all, except he’s an Alpha.

Though he has given me a room in his home free of charge, and has signed fake paperwork saying we are bonded so I don’t have to answer my attacker’s claim, can I trust him?

But now I’m in danger. If I don’t take a real mate, my life as I know it will be over. Can I believe in the goodness of Ori? Can I learn to love again?

A non-shifter, fake mate, Alpha/Omega love story. Rescue. First time. Omegaverse. Mpreg. Healing from sexual trauma. (All books in The Omega Misfits series are standalone reads and can be read in any order.) 61k words.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Wendy Rathbone's The Alpha's Fake Mate is the second book in The Omega Misfits series. And damn, I loved it.

This is a non-shifter mpreg story, revolving around omega farms, as Ori suddenly inherits his father's farm. Having never wanted anything to do with the farm, as he thinks it is horrific, he tours it, deciding maybe he can make things better for "his" omegas.

Upon meeting Holland, he can't get the man out of his mind. Holland may be broken, but he's also tough and willing to fight back, even after being abused. The way he reacts to Ori is amazing. Ori's intrigued by the young omega, finding it refreshing that he stands up to him. What follows is a story of building trust and exercising that trust when at your lowest.

I love these men; both the broken Holland and the intriguing Ori. Holland's background is horrific, but his unwavering strength is impressive. As the two start to gain respect for one another, their story takes on a life of it's own. I don't want to give anything away, but the tension is high, the danger is real, and the love is ever developing.

The writing is great, flowing seamlessly, and the emotions are high. I could not put this book down, ending up reading it in one sitting.

The Alpha's Fake Mate is a riveting and creative read. This Wendy Rathbone story is well told and well worth a read. It's sweet and sexy and I absolutely fell in love with these men and their hard-fought journey.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Trust No Alpha is an intoxicating omegaverse romance by Wendy Rathbone. From the start, the dynamics between alphas and omegas in this world are clearly defined, and it isn't pretty.

Chris was always the family's golden child, until it's discovered that he has both Alpha and Omega genes, rendering him useless. And desired. Oh dear lord, these scenes are not easy to read, establishing early on the intense emotions that will carry on throughout the story. A riveting twist on your typical Omegaverse read, I couldn't put it down.

Thorn has always been known as a murderer and is feared by all. His character development is fabulous, and will leave you madly in love with this broken man.
It is emotionally gripping throughout, as we follow these two troubled men and their developing relationship.

Adding to the fun, there's a 32 year age gap between the men. This aspect is extremely well done and adds immensely to their story.

Their story is a wild mix of neighbors, family issues galore, action, and danger. Seriously, it's an intense and wild ride. There's lots of romance, steam, passion and love as well. I couldn't put it down.

Told in alternating pov, the reader is sucked into both Chris and Thorn's feelings and taken on one hell of a journey with them. The writing is fabulous, with superb character development and even more impressive world building.

Be warned there's an attempted rape scene that is not an easy read.

Trust No Alpha is an amazing book. This Wendy Rathbone story is one that left me on the edge of my seat throughout. As the first book in The Omega Misfits series, I am excited to see what happens next.

Romantically Incorrect by Wendy Rathbone

Blurb

“If you were mine, I’d treat you like gold.”

How to avoid being romantically incorrect:

When your eyes meet his across a crowded room and your heart jolts to a stop, don’t mistake lust for love.

Never follow him to a public restroom to tell him how you feel.

Don’t stalk him online or to a trendy gay bar in L.A.

And do not give him advice on breaking up with his billionaire fiancée who treats him like crap.

Finally, do not offer your house as a haven when the press hounds him, or your arms for comfort when the pressure all around him breaks him into a hundred little pieces.

And, whatever you are hoping for, DO NOT let him model nude for a new art series you are painting.

Artist and model. They hardly know each other. They’ve never dated. But neither can stop craving the other.

Rescue. Hurt/comfort. Nude modeling. Insta-love. L.A. scene. Dealing with fame. Angry billionaire ex. No cheating. HEA.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Romantically Incorrect is an emotional and riveting story by Wendy Rathbone.

Landyn, a former child actor, is a people pleaser and a pushover, but inside he's alone and miserable. A random meeting with Chance leads him to find someone who's finally looking out for his best. Chance is forward and doesn't hide his feelings about Landyn, leading to some great moments.

The two have a strong, intense connection. I love their story and the way their relationship progresses.

As for Landyn's ex, oh boy, he's a peach of a man. He's a jerk, pompous ass, and total troublemaker. He certainly adds to the storyline, increasing the suspense factor.

This is a story of finding someone who see the real you, who accepts and supports the real you. Their story has a little bit of heat and a whole lot of semi-serious moments. It's all well done and my attention never strayed.

Romantically Incorrect is a tough read at times with some serious stalking. I definitely like the writing style and will be adding this Wendy Rathbone book to my re-read list.
