The Proposal: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Ivy Oliver

Blurb

We've been friends as long as I remember, but we might be more.
I was there when my best friend proposed to someone else. Just like I'd been there for house-moving and cat-sitting, for parties and vacations and nights out. I was always the guy behind the camera snapping vacation photos for Daniel and his girlfriend, Megan. They were happy, and it made me happy. After all, I set them up. So of course I was there the night he planned to propose to her. It was all picture perfect except for one detail:

She said no.

So with plane tickets and hotel rooms booked for a post-proposal getaway, what was he to do? Go anyway and get his mojo back, and of course he invited me to tag along. What could be better than a week in paradise secretly lusting over my best friend, unable to tear my eyes from his glorious body, resisting the urge to throw myself at him? Every time he looked at me that little thrill I felt was almost worth it.

Just two guys having a good time to move past a bad night, right? That's what it was going to be, until we hit the bars the night before, and he asked me to stay over the night before our flight.

That's what it was before he kissed me.

Now we don't have to find trouble in paradise. It followed us. Will lust grow into love or just become another fading memory?

The Proposal is a fifty thousand word friends to lovers romantic comedy with an HEA!

The Proposal is a fun, quick friends to lovers romance by Ivy Oliver.

Chris and Daniel are best friends, along with Daniel's girlfriend, Megan. But when Daniel proposes to Megan, everything changes. Megan says no, and Daniel and Chris go on the honeymoon.

Soon the two guys are hooking up and it's a fun first time with a guy for Daniel. If they want more, they have a few things to deal with first, like Megan and some complications.

Their story is entertaining, flows well, and is a great way to spend a little time. I like Chris and Daniel as a couple, as adding sex to their relationship just makes things better. The little things that keep getting in their way are entertaining and enjoyable.

If you like friends to lovers, you'll enjoy The Proposal.

BLURB

My new worst enemy is the hottest guy I've ever seen.

Getting a small business off the ground is hard, but it's even harder when a competitor opens up on the same block- and he's a charming, dashing rogue. I try to despise him, but one look makes me a tongue-tied mess. All he has to do is stand there with his smoldering eyes, rock hard body, and lithe muscles that draw my eye to dangerous places, and I forget why I'm there.

I'm here to run a bakery, not fall in love, but one look at his buns and my loaf rises. Every time I see him I'm consumed driven to distraction, but this is a war and there's no sleeping with the enemy…

...until there is, and I wind up in bed with him. Our liaison has to stay a secret and I have to play hard to get, for both our sakes. As much as I'd like to surrender to those strong arms and give in to my passions, there's too much at stake.

Mister Hard To Get  is a cute little fun romance by Ivy Oliver.

Aiden and Michael, men from completely different worlds, meet when they start not only competing bakeries, but also neighboring bakeries.

Their story contains a controlling father, a weary sister, an injury, and the hardship of having no control over your own life. Oh yeah, and also a little thing about being a reality show.

Aiden and Michael are a sweet couple. and just need to get through some issues that are in their way. It's a story of self discovery, establishing independence, and personal growth.
Mister Hard To Get is a feel good, happy romance. Ivy Oliver's writing style is fluid, tender and thoughtful and her characters are admirable, alluring and complimentary.

Mister Professor by Ivy Oliver

My new professor is going to teach me a hard lesson.

Four years ago I met the college professor of my nightmares... and my deepest fantasies. Arrogant, demanding, uncompromising, he's relentless when it comes to driving a student he believes in, and he's gorgeous. I wanted him from the moment I saw him, but I didn't dare act on it.

His chiseled body, commanding demeanor, piercing eyes, and strong hands all had me dreaming of hopping on the desk for some extracurricular activities, but I didn't dare try, no matter how much I wanted to.

Then... I found out I'm working for him, assigned to be his assistant. Now I have to survive a semester under him without falling for him, and it's already too late. When a chance encounter leads to a night of passion, our secret story begins... if I dare.

Mister Professor is another fun read by Ivy Oliver; this time a good, quick Professor/Teacher romance.

Ethan is assigned to be William's assistant, as in William, the professor he's been crushing on for years. Things are even more complicated by the fact that William has also been crushing on Ethan.

William tries his best to hold off from letting anything physical happen between them. But, of course, at some point they can't hold off anymore.

The only thing I didn't love about this story is the section right before the ending. It just seemed unrealistic, sudden and forced. Other than that, I really enjoyed Mister Professor.

Mister Bodyguard by Ivy Oliver

Blurb:

Stuck in the desert with a crazy stuntman, insane script, and cheap sets, I'm the star in the world's worst movie. On top of that, I have a bodyguard watching my every move, hired to protect me -and the production- from myself.
Lucas Baxter, a six foot slab of stud with a rock hard bod, arrogant swagger, and take-no-prisoners attitude. Suddenly I'm up at the crack of dawn when I'm used to the crack of noon. His job is to keep me safe, but his role is to keep me in line... and I'm loving every minute of it. I can't think when he's around, not with his rippling muscles sweating in the desert heat.
As soon as I laid eyes on him my long-suppressed attraction to men came roaring back. Forget the script, the only lines I want to learn are the cut shape of his muscular body, and the only thing I want to know is the haunting longing behind his eyes. One look from him and my mask slips, and I'm shaken to the core.
I'm ready to take the plunge. I know if I run he'll catch me, and our game of cat and mouse will end with him taking me, heart and soul... but I might lose it all.

In Mister Bodyguard, Matt's mother wants to make a movie staring her son. To protect him, she hires Lucas to be Matt's bodyguard.

The movie is a complete and utter disaster. One crazy thing after another will keep you giggling, as well as shaking your head.

The only good thing to come out of this movie so far is the bodyguard. Both Matt and Lucass are hot for one another. Sure, they shouldn't get involved, but they just can't help themselves. The resulting sex scenes are steamy!

I found one quote that everyone should listen to and follow. '"If you see what you want in life, go for it. If you don't, one day you'll turn around and find that you can only see it behind you."'

Throughout the story, we hear all the crazy things going on with the movie.  People on set start wondering what exactly is going on. And then someone goes after Matt.  Now they all need to figure out what's going on and soon. And, rest assured, the truth is crazy.

I highly recommend Mister Bodyguard as a light-hearted, silly book. It is highly entertaining, definitely romantic, and Hot!

Mister Bridesmaid by Ivy Oliver

Amazon

What a great little love story.

It is a fun, light and quick read.

Julian has always had a crush on his best friend's brother.  He certainly never expected to have something happen though.  Colton is ten years older than Julian and is also very aloof.  But then Julian is asked to be the Man of Honor at his friend's wedding and he runs into Colton again.  As usual,  Julian is intimidated and acts stupid and tongue tied when they are together.

Then they celebrate the stag night together in Vegas.  And then wake up married.

Julian has no memory of the wedding.  And Colton is freaked out because his dad will never accept him being with a guy.

From the very beginning, I loved Julian.  He is just so adorable.  The adventures of the stag night are fun despite the fact that they are initially awkward together.   When they wake up married, the roller coaster of events that follow are romantic, sweet, mysterious and captivating.

In the end, they need to decide if they can be together despite the challenges involved.  Their road will be thwarted by meddling parents, some backstabbing friends, and some jealous cousins.

If you like the best friend's sibling trope, you will surely enjoy this story.  It has it all - the secrecy, the roadblocks and the romance.  I highly recommend it.
