An elf costume, a pair of lacy knickers, and a Christmas charity auction might make Sam’s Christmas wish come true.

Blurb

When sweet barista, Sam, agrees to be a ‘slave’ in a Christmas charity auction, he’s thrilled to be bought by the man he’s had a crush on for the last three months.

Theodore is everything Sam is looking for in a man: older, authoritative, and caring. Unfortunately, Sam isn’t the most forward person when it comes to telling men he likes them. Wearing a sexy costume allows him to be a much flirtier version of himself, but can a naughty elf tempt Theodore into bed?

As their relationship intensifies, Sam finds something in Theodore he didn’t realise he needed: a man he wants to call his Daddy.

But Theodore isn’t out of the closet, and whilst Sam is happy existing in a bubble over Christmas, he knows that can’t last forever.

Can Sam risk giving his heart to a Daddy who might not ever be able to hold his hand in public, let alone commit to him?

What Works For Us is a Christmas romance with an age-gap relationship, lacy underwear, role-play, Daddy kink, and a guaranteed happy ending.

Ohhhh...Colette Davison's What Works for Us is a delicious BDSM romance.

Theodore's a closeted businessman who just so happens to wins Sam in an auction. Theo's a relatable character, one who's always been closeted, finding it shameful to admit his truth. But with Sam, who's dressed like a girl, he is tempted more than ever before. What follows is a delightful age gap romance.

Theodore and Sam develop a deep connection before they even know one another's names. Oh course it isn't all an easy ride, as not only does Theodore struggle with the age difference, but also with the thought of actually being in a relationship with a man. I appreciate this part of Theodore's personality, as it's all written in a great manner. And kudos to the author that I could feel every ounce of his pain in my own heart. Well done.

This one has lace and dresses, oh dear god, age play! Did I mention the lace?!?!?! Theodore explores not only some of his desires, but also some of Sam's desires, including kitty play and daddy play. Oh yes, the kink is fantastic, as well as hot and spicy! What develops is a fun story of Theodore discovering his Dom side and I love it all!

One of my favorite quotes is "If someone tells you something enough, it becomes truth." Isn't that the truth? In this case, it applies to Theodore and his lack of self worth, as he was forced to hide his truth. But I am sure we can all appreciate this quote.

What Works for Us is a sweet and tender story of finding out it's okay to be yourself. The author does an excellent job exploring a variety of kinks and roleplay. And holy crap, I love the ending; absolutely love it!

Excerpt

He stood and opened the door, and his heart leapt into his throat. His whole body tingled as he found himself unable to tear his gaze away from what the young man was wearing.

Sam didn’t have the boxer shorts on. Instead, he wore a woman’s elf costume, which comprised of a short dress with a green lace-up bodice and bright red skirt. Due to Sam’s height, the skirt barely covered the top third of his thighs. The skirt was filled out with netting, like a tutu, making it even shorter. Sam was wearing candy cane-striped stockings. Theodore knew they were stockings because he could see the top of the suspenders peeking out beneath the white fake fur trim on the hem of the skirt. In his head, Sam wore a floppy hat—like the Santa ones that had been flooding the shops for the last three months—but in green to match the bodice. Theodore managed to drag his gaze down to Sam’s feet long enough to note that he was wearing black pumps.

“I didn’t think I’d be able to clean in high heels,” Sam said in a confidential whisper. He sounded and looked more confident than he had minutes before.

Theodore’s mind had turned to goo. He’d seen men in drag before, but this was different. Sam’s festive costume was tapping into desires that Theodore hadn’t realised he had. He could feel his blood pumping through his veins, racing to get to his dick rather than his heart. He had a sudden desire to pull Sam into his arms and kiss him. Hard.

Dear God, don’t let me get an erection.

Just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse, Sam did a slow twirl. At the back, the skirt barely covered his bottom, giving Theodore the tiniest glimpse of white lace. A shiver ran through him, and he let out a little gasp of desire.

“Do you like it?” Sam asked.

GRL 2019 Author Spotlight - Leo and His Lion (Oh My! #2) by Andi James & Lila Wilde

In my attempt to cover some of the attending authors for this year's GRL,
I am reviewing

 Leo and His Lion
by Andi James and Lila Wilde!

BLURB

Leo Varma doesn’t need love. At thirty-seven, he’s satisfied with focusing on his career, friends, and casual hookups. Besides, getting into a real relationship would mean finally telling his conservative family that he’s gay, and possibly losing them forever. He’s convinced himself that living in the shadows is good enough... until he meets Dylan.

Dylan Drake-Matthews might be a catastrophe on two legs, but he loves life. After taking a part-time job at the club Leo frequents, the wide-eyed nineteen-year-old dives into the kink scene with both feet. When his first few attempts end in disaster, Leo takes Dylan under his wing, and everything clicks in a surprising way.

But secret encounters can only carry them so far. Dylan’s authenticity and personal honesty make Leo wish things were different in his own life, while Leo’s family situation keeps him from being what Dylan needs. Can Leo face his fears? Or will he let the love he never expected to find slip through his fingers?

Leo & His Lion is an 80K word May/December, kitten play MM romance featuring an adorable kitten, the sexy man he calls Daddy, and superhero underwear. It is the second book in the Oh My! series and can be read as a standalone.

REVIEW
My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Leo and His Lion is a great BDSM romance by Andi James and Lila Wilde. Having loved book one in the Oh My series, Teddy and His Bear, I was excited to check out this next book in the series.

Dylan's a loveable yet clumsy young man. His drunken mishap is a hilarious start to the book. He's a charming man who's youth, looks, and clumsiness makes him adorable.

Their story revolves around a sex club where Dylan starts working and Leo frequents. Leo's a Dom (sometimes), who's instantly attracted to the young Dylan. Watching Leo teach Dylan about BDSM is just stupendous. And woo hoo, the sexy times start early on and continue throughout. And, awwww...kitten play! These scenes are adorable and hot.

Leo's closeted, causing for some fun angst. Only comfortable in the club, his relationships are limited. With Dylan, he's able to actually develop a relationship. Dylan's struggles with submitting are an amazing addition to the story. We don't get enough stories that include this.

The change is both men throughout the story is fantastic. It's always beautiful to see someone find something that fits them so naturally, and having it help them to grow, in strength, in comfort, and love.

Of course their story also includes lies and coverups, creating some good angst.

Leo and His Lion is a riveting story of claiming what you want from life. The authors do not disappoint in this story of believing in oneself and standing up for oneself. The emotions are all there, as I swooned, I laughed, and I was definitely sad. If you haven't read these authors yet, be sure to check them out.

“Meow!”

There it was.

The sound that made my knees buckle.

He purred, neck stretched, eyes half-lidded.

With those cat ears, in his hair.

And the tail, that he flicked.

A ray of sun in the drizzling rain. I’d been a traveler, floating adrift, while he’d stayed in one place. How was I supposed to know he’d become my anchor? My light. My everything. But would I ever become his?

As a standalone romance, “Black” features detailed adult m/m content, a hurt/comfort relationship as well as "kitty play.

Black is an amazing kitty play romance by Quin Perin. Honestly, I am shocked with how much I love it.

Tony's visiting his sister and is instantly drawn to the beautiful man on the bench. Dima, that intriguing man on the bench is someone who ends up throwing his world into a loop.

Tony's a wanderer, who never stays long in one place. The only family he has is his sister, and while visiting her, he's compelled to explore what's developing with Dima. His background is sad and emotional, and will leave you in love with this man.

And Dima, oh wow, Dima. He's strong, yet fragile. He's an inspirational man with a tragic backstory. It's developed wonderfully throughout and left me an emotional wreck at times. He's blind, left feeling alone and broken. He fears letting anyone get close, knowing they'll eventually leave, as everyone leaves him. Basically, he's afraid to risk his heart.

The writing style is excellent, with a great flow, extremely well developed characters, and a riveting storyline. Their story involves fears and insecurities, risks and taking chances. The relationship is passionate and playful, full of emotions and angst.

This is my first time reading Kitty play, and I absolutely adore it. It's tender, sweet, hot and steamy. Their dynamics are fantastic. The meows, the scratching, omg, I love every second of it.

Black
is a wonderful, compelling story with some great kitty play. It's beautiful and tender, as sexual companionship turns into so much more. It's so much more than I expected. Known for their superb erotic stories, this one is so much more. This emotional tale left me gutted at times, and gripped the whole time. All in all, it's a beautiful story!

Excerpt

A shove and he fell into a seated position. His hands were all over me. Squeezing at my thighs, shoving my shirt up. Stepping back, away from him, I grabbed the bottom of my shirt and pulled it over my head. I draped it over the coffee table and worked on my pants next. Kitties didn’t wear clothes after all. If I was going to be a kitty, I was going to be a good one.

Naked, body free in the cool air of my apartment, I lifted my arms above my head and stretched out. Flaunting. I wanted him to touch my cock. Heated, it swayed with each of my movements, begging for attention. That was for later though. Now we played.

Dropping to my knees, I turned my face towards him and angled my head to the side. Hands hit the floor, and I crawled towards him. Strutted as best as I could. It was like the evening before when I’d tried to seduce him. Except I’d already succeeded in my goal this time. Now it was all icing on top.

I crawled up to him, hands going to his knees. “Dima,” he murmured, reaching for my hair. He laced his fingers through, but I jerked my head away from him.

With a hiss, I narrowed my eyes and bit down on his fingers. It made him laugh, but he didn’t touch me again. If he wanted me to get into character, we were going to have to do it properly. I wanted to be something different, and he was going to have to deal with that.

Tony spread his thighs to accept me between them. I scratched and then dipped my head. With the skill of my tongue and teeth, working in tandem, I popped open the button of his jeans. The zipper was much easier, and then he helped me. While he worked on getting his pants out of the way, I showed off my body. Elbows rested on the floor behind me, back arched sharply as I waited. The skin stretched tight over my ribs, stomach a little dip. I was tiny, and I knew it, but Tony definitely seemed to like it.

“God, you’re beautiful,” he murmured.

I purred at the compliment, and when the couch stopped its faint squeaking from his movements, I was at my place between his thighs again. He’d not moved from his spot, making it easier on me. Without much ado, I dove face first into his lower stomach, brushing my nose into his tuft of pubic hair. He smelled faintly of soap and musk, sweat. A distinctly manly smell that drove me crazy. His cock flexed, the heat of it against my cheek. Too heavy to stand on its own when he was seated like that, it pointed towards his hip.

I nipped at his stomach and turned my head so my cheek rested against him. Keeping my eyes closed, I flicked my tongue against the side of his cock. He groaned and shifted, legs spreading wider.

Poor Tony.

He thought he was going to get what he wanted. One thing he would learn was kitties didn’t much care to do what other people wanted.

This time when I scratched at his thighs, I was attacking bare skin. He jerked against me, hissing between his teeth.

“Fuck,” he grumbled.

He might have caught the smirk that danced over my lips, but if he did, it was only a brief moment as I bypassed his cock and went straight to his balls. My tongue lapped across the tender flesh, tasting salt and heat. I swore I felt his heart beating as my nose brushed the base of his cock and my tongue worked him over. Curious, I mouthed at his sack before letting out a tiny “meow.” He arched so hard and quickly, I thought he was gonna jump off the couch.

If he liked that, Tony was in for a long night.
