Valor: The Complete Duology by Keira Andrews

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Forbidden love in the White House—read the complete action-packed romance!

He’d give his life to protect the president’s son. But he never expected to risk his heart.

Growing up gay in the White House hasn’t been easy for Rafael Castillo. Codenamed “Valor” by the Secret Service, Rafa feels anything but brave as he hides in the closet and tries to stay below the radar in his last year of college.

It’s definitely not part of Rafa’s plan to get a hot new Secret Service agent, but he’s made it this long dateless and innocent, keeping his desires strictly to himself. Besides, it’s not like Shane Kendrick would even look at him twice if it wasn’t his job.

While protecting the president’s shy, boring son isn’t Shane's dream White House assignment, it’s an easy enough task since no one pays Rafa much attention. He discovers there’s a vibrant young man beneath the timid public shell, and while he knows Rafa has a crush on him, he assures himself it’s harmless. Shane’s never had room for romance in his life, and he’d never cross that line with a protectee.

But he's never been tempted like this before.

Even if Shane and Rafa can run away together, will their forbidden love survive in the real world?

Read Valor on the Move and Test of Valor in one convenient collection!

Valor: The Complete Duology by Keira Andrews is a collection of two M/M bodyguard gay romances featuring an age difference, Jane Austen levels of pining, first times, forbidden love against the odds, and of course a happy ending.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Valor: The Complete Duology is a fabulous read by Keira Andrews. I am thrilled that these books are being re-released in this duology, as I loved them when I first read them years ago.

This is forbidden romance at it's finest, with the President's son falling for his bodyguard. Cue all the feels. I love the way the two slowly connect, despite knowing they shouldn't. They bond on a level a bodyguard shouldn't bond with his charge. And it's awesome!

There's plenty of intrigue, danger, and action. This is Washington after all. There's romance, politics, and plenty of sexual connection. And, of course, with his dad being in the White House, Rafa has been hiding his sexuality.

Their story also includes grief and loss, and learning to make the most out of one's life. This part is wonderfully done.

I enjoy the forbidden aspect a lot, as it certainly leads to some interesting things once they are outed. I also enjoy the complex nature of the family issues.

I don't want to give everything away, but the two fight hard to be together and to be accepted among Rafa's family and Shane's colleagues. Both men get a chance for happiness and fully embrace this opportunity.

Valor: The Complete Duology is a fabulous bodyguard romance. I enjoy every moment of this Keira Andrews gem. The relationship, as well as the political factor are riveting. If you haven't yet read this one, do yourself a favor and set some time aside for it.

Love Match (Love Match #1) by Keira Andrews

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Secret romance changes the rules of the game.

Luke’s never falling in love again.

All that matters now is winning. He’s one of the best tennis players in the world. He has titles and endorsements and fans. He doesn’t need love. Especially since he’s sure he’ll lose everything if he comes out.

Then rookie Jesse walks into the locker room.

Jesse, with his youthful optimism and sweet smile. His alluring innocence.

If Luke gives in to temptation, how long will Jesse be content as secret lovers? Can two pro tennis players find love without losing their careers—and their hearts?

Love Match by Keira Andrews is a steamy gay romance featuring an age gap, the grumpy/sunshine trope, and of course a happy ending.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

I first read Love Match years ago and loved it. This Keira Andrews out for you sports romance easily holds up today as a fantastic read.

I love everything about this book. Luke and Jesse's relationship is everything I could ask for. Tennis players. Closeted. Age gay. Game play. Emotional. Love it all.

Both men are well written, multi-layered, and suffering their fair share of troubles along the way. I enjoy the way the two come together and everything that develops between them.

The tennis moments are well integrated into the story, with plenty of emotion and character development involved. The men go through a whole lot during their time playing together.

There's an age gap that plays well into the story. I enjoy that the men are at different points in their lives and careers.

Oh, and they're super hot together too.

A re-release of the author's first published book, this one is still one of my favorites. I appreciate how well written this story is. Both characters are realistic and likable, well rounded, and completely easy to root for.

Love Match is a great read. I love this Keira Andrews romance and highly recommend it. From the first page to the last, I couldn't put this one down.

Merry Cherry Christmas by Keira Andrews

Amazon Link  - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

A nice boy gets naughty...

Redheaded freshman Jeremy "Cherry" Rourke is certainly living up to his childhood nickname, although still being inexperienced is the least of his concerns. After coming out, his parents barely talk to him. He hasn't made any friends at university. Worst of all, he's about to spend Christmas completely alone in an empty dorm.

Jeremy clearly needs a fairy godfather, so football captain Max Pimenta takes him under his wing to help him find his dating groove. But Jeremy's wound way too tight. He's too vulnerable. Max can't trust some random guy with him. He needs to take care of Jeremy himself and introduce him to no-pressure exploration. It's not about romance or feelings—he's just doing the kid a favor.

Max is definitely not falling for this lonely, beautiful boy. No way.

And it's not like he can leave Jeremy all alone for the holidays. He'll bring him home to his family's maple syrup farm—strictly as friends since his parents have rules. No more fooling around. No more eager, breathless fun. No more making Jeremy shiver and blush with suggestive whispers in his ear. No more sweeter-than-sugar kisses. All nice. No more naughty.

But Jeremy's sleeping right across the hall, and Max wants him for himself. The twelve days of Christmas will last an eternity if they don't break the rules.

Shhh. No one has to know...

Merry Cherry Christmas is a feel-good holiday MM romance from Keira Andrews featuring a nervous nerd and protective, jealous jock, forced proximity, first times, and of course a happy ending.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Merry Cherry Christmas is a fantastic Christmas romance by Keira Andrews. With a college football player falling for a nerd, it's absolutely delightful!

This one starts fun, as Jeremy falls on the ice, with Max there to help him. Right away, the differences in the young men are front and center.

Jeremy's a shy freshman nerd, who's helpless when his glasses break. He's alone, has anxiety issues, hasn't made any friends, and has no where to go for Christmas. Then there's Max, a senior who's captain of the football team. He's popular, outgoing, and as sweet as can be to Jeremy.

Their random meeting leads to Jeremy finding the first person he can call a friend. With Max, Jeremy is able to find who he truly is, as well as explore his sexuality. With Jeremy's virgin status, their tale is full of wonderful first times. It doesn't take long for things to get hot though, with some steamy phone sex and lots of cum play, including some talk of felching.

Their tale has it's share of sad parts too, as my heart hurts for Jeremy and his family issues. Luckily for him, Max's family is fabulous and willing to accept and love him.

Fitting with his fun personality, Max appoints himself as Jeremy's fairy Godfather! But my favorite part is the way they just feel so damn comfortable together.

The writing is good, written in alternating 3rd person pov, and fully bringing these men to life. The author excels in combining sweet with sad, and steam with romance.

Merry Cherry Christmas is a tender, feel good college Christmas romance. This Keira Andrews read is sugary sweet and everything you could ask for. If you love Hallmark movies, make sure you read this gem!

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

I first read Cold War years ago when it was published as Cold War and Holding the Edge. I loved those Kiera Andrews books then and this story is still one of my favorites. Honestly, I am downright giddy to read this again.

From the start, I fell in love with this story. Seriously, the opening scene of hate sex and then regret is thrilling. These enemies to lovers are competitors on the ice, but the sparks fly off the ice.

Their tale is emotional with plenty of heat. The way their relationship builds, all in the mist of the Olympics, is riveting. Their entire lives have been driven by the politics of their sports and countries. Seriously, the pressure put on Mikhail is horrific. Knowing this is based on realistic events is devastating.

One of my favorite parts, other than one amazingly steamy moment, is the way the teams end up interacting in the end. It's perfectly written and just endeared me to the girls.

T
he writing is classic Keira Andrews, full of complex and likeable characters. Told in alternating third person pov, the reader easily comes to understand and care for both men. The author does a great job exploring the difficulties of falling for the competition, as well as the highs and lows of being an athlete. She also  delves into two different heritages and ways of life, bringing these cultures alive for the reader.

Cold War is a riveting story of grabbing onto love even if it's an impossible situation. It's a story about freedom, priorities, and love. Not only is this Kiera Andrews book memorable, it's a definite re-read.

The Christmas Deal by Keira Andrews

Length: 250 pages

Cover Design: Wicked Smart Design

Blurb

Will fake boyfriends become the real deal this holiday?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—except ex-Marine Logan is jobless and getting evicted. Worse, he’s a new single dad with a stepson who hates him. A kid needs stability—not to mention presents under the tree—and Logan’s desperate.

Then he meets lonely Seth and makes a deal.

Can Logan temporarily pretend to be live-in boyfriends to increase Seth’s chances at a promotion? If it provides a roof over their heads for the holidays, hell yeah. Logan considers himself straight—he doesn’t count occasional hookups with guys—but he can fake it. Besides, with his shy little smile, Seth is surprisingly sexy.

Make that damn sexy.

Shocked that Seth has only been with one man, Logan can’t resist sweetening their deal to teach him the joys of casual sex. No strings attached. No feelings. No kissing.

No falling for each other.

Easy, right?

The Christmas Deal is a steamy holiday gay romance from Keira Andrews featuring fake boyfriends, bisexual awakening, a clueless single dad with an angry preteen, and of course a happy ending.

Review

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

The Christmas Deal is a feel good Christmas romance by Keira Andrews.

The writing is fantastic and the storyline interesting. I could feel the longing and pain jumping off the pages.

When Logan and Seth agree on a deal of being fake boyfriends, then add in some sex to help one another get off, neither expects to fall in love. Personally, I adore the way the two men come together, and the way their friendship develops.

Of course, I love when lust and feelings start to complicate everything. Damn, these two are crazy hot together, as well as tender and romantic.

Logan's sexuality is an enjoyable aspect to this love story. Always considering himself straight, he never considered it gay to "get-off" with a guy. He's always been fine with having sex with a guy, but never wanted to have an emotional relationship with one. I adore his sexual discoveries and realizations. If you love GFY stories, this one is spectacular in the way the author delves into bisexuality.

The Christmas Deal satisfied all my holiday needs. It has all the romance and charm I could ask for. This Keira Andrews story is an emotional and multi-layered tale of family, forgiveness, and acceptance. And, of course, bonus points for all the holiday charm!

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Flash Rip is another great read by Keira Andrews.

Cody and Liam are two lifeguards in Western Australia. Yes, an Australia setting! Taking place in Perth, I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere.

As for Cody and Liam, one's a former Aussie Rules Football player. The other is from Canada, thus doesn't know anything about Aussie Rules and certainly doesn't recognize the famous man.

Liam's a former professional athlete who's firmly locked in the closet. Not only is he concerned about his fans, he also can't come out, as his family is very homophobic. Be warned for some disgusting insults.

Liam's never been with a man at home before, but soon he can't ignore the chemistry between himself and Cody. They are super hot together, and extremely compatible sexually. And, yes, their kinks include some bondage. Enjoy.

And holy crap, their banter is fantastic. There's some remarks that had me dying. "You always have a way with words." That sums it up perfectly. Just sit back and enjoy the humor.

For anyone who's ever seen a lifeguard rescue at the beach, this story will resonate with you greatly. I could feel the tension and the danger of the rescues jumping off the pages.

I always enjoy a story set in Australia, and this one holds up to having some of the Australian charm I look forward to. Of course, as an American, I shudder that they call oxygen "oxy." As we all know, in American that means something vastly different.

Overall, Flash Rip is a sweet story of coming to terms with one's sexuality. I highly suggest this Keira Andrews book when you're in the mood for a closeted character. It perfectly explores the reasons to stay closeted, as well as the struggles with not being allowed to be true to oneself.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Santa Daddy is a hot, kinky Christmas romance by Keira Andrews.

When Nick fills in for the mall Santa, he meets the hot elf, Hunter. The two can't help but to oogle one another, despite the 20 years between them.

Hunter's only home for a short time, ready to leave soon to find a real job now that he's done with college. Nick's just surviving, still reeling in the loss of his ex-husband. He's been lost in his loneliness and grief, working too much to try to forget his problems.

Their story is beautiful and tender. Nick wants to teach and soothe Hunter, despite knowing that Hunter will cause him trouble. Hunter needs to get over his anxious self doubts. And Nick wants to help him by grounding him. He wants to be his Daddy. And it ends up that Hunter is turned on by that idea.

What follows is some holy hotness between the two, as well as a fun and interesting love story.

As usual, Keira Andrews delivers with the perfect mix to create a heart-felt, and steamy story.
