Gareth's Boy (Meadowfall Firefighters #2) by Anna Wineheart

Blurb

No one expects lace in a laundry room to change their life.

At twenty-one, Flores Williams has a few things his (non-existent) friends don't: a police record, abusive parents, and a colorful hobby. But the worst thing about being independent? Breaking an expensive washing machine right before your ballet audition. Flores needs clothes, he needs a job, he needs a miracle.

As long as that miracle isn't Gareth Brown.

Ten years ago, Gareth lost his husband to a car accident. These days, he hangs around with his firefighting team, trying to fill the void in his heart. When his friend makes a request, Gareth agrees: Watch Tim Williams' son. Flores is a criminal, and Gareth thinks he can stop that boy from going back into jail.

But Gareth isn't prepared for Flores to call him Sir. Add to that the fact that Flores has never been kissed. And that Gareth increasingly wants Flores to be his boy. Gareth shouldn't—he's far older. He's promised Tim that he wouldn't get involved with Flores.

As fate drags them into a whirlpool of lace, sweet punishments, and an accidental pregnancy, will the growing fire between Flores and Gareth draw them closer, or will the demons from their pasts burn them to the ground?

Gareth's Boy is a 82,000-word standalone non-shifter age-difference MPreg romance, featuring a protective firefighter, hurt/comfort, and a broken soul who learns to smile again. HEA guaranteed!
Warning: This book contains so much heat, it'll fog up your windows. Try to stay cool!!

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Gareth's Boy, book two of Anna Wineheart's Meadowfall Firefighters series, is a wonderful mpreg read.

This is a story that starts with lace and gets ever hotter. Yum!

Gareth and Flores are two men who both know loss. One lost his husband, one his mentor, and both have been greatly affected by these losses. Some of the moments that focus on these losses are tear-jerking and tough to read.

Flores is a broken man, with parents who've never even shown him love. Gareth is tasked with watching over Flores, leading to Flores not trusting him at all. The complex family issues are well done and are extremely emotional. Both men are affected and have decisions to make.
The writing is good, with two well developed complex characters and a whole lot of tenderness and emotion. I was hooked from the start, but it's a long book with a slow pace at times.

Their story includes lace as well as dresses. It includes an age difference, which adds a lot to the tale. And, it includes a marker that leads to a super steamy scene. Damn, Gareth and Flores are super hot together. Expect intense chemistry and some smoking firsts, and some hot rimming.

One of my favorite lines is "...Gareth wanted to see what Flores would look like when he finally remembered to smile."

My absolute favorite however is the snake moments. I couldn't stop laughing. Caleb is an adorable little kid who is truly hysterical, adding tremendous amounts of love and humor to this book.

Gareth's Boy is a great mpreg read. This Anna Wineheart book is a wonderful story of getting a second chance at love. It's a beautiful story of finding someone who believes in you and encourages you in life.

His Two Alphas (Men of Meadowfall #8) by Anna Wineheart

Blurb

For twenty years, single-dad Micah Davis has dreamed of the perfect wedding.
The perfect alpha.
Then the Fire tears apart Micah's body, leaving him crippled and scarred.
His confidence wrecked, his chances of finding a bondmate sub-zero, Micah has little left...
Except a secret:
The nineteen-year-old in his college classes, Spike? Micah's son's close friend?
Spike makes Micah feel desirable again.
Like Micah might just be the most important person in the world.

Spike keeps his secrets close:
He's in love with his professor. Has been for nine years.
He's been homeless. He's secretly a sap.
Then there's his alpha stepbrother, Kai, and Spike shouldn't love him, too, but he does.
Except Micah's too good for Spike, and Kai has sworn to leave Meadowfall.
Sooner or later, they'll both break Spike's heart.

Kai has a dream: To play major-league basketball. To become stronger, richer.
So he can never be hurt again.
That means leaving his hometown, and it means leaving Spike behind.
But Kai won't rest easy until Spike settles down with a bondmate... And if it's the professor Spike wants, it's the professor Spike gets.
Kai will do anything for his stepbrother.
What Kai doesn't expect... is for his own heart to be tangled in the process.

His Two Alphas is a MMM, A/A/O non-shifter, standalone MPreg romance. HEA guaranteed.

Anna Wineheart's His Two Alphas is the eighth book in the Men of Meadowfall series. And, damn, it's a steamy one.

Spike and Kai are two alpha stepbrothers who happen to have a thing for their friend's father, Micah. Spike and Kai's relationship is heartbreaking and yet heartwarming in the end. They've physically been together a lot, which, of course, is taboo, but the emotions were never able to complete their bond. Adding Micah to the mix brings their emotions to an all time high. The scenes between them, and the lack of a mark between them, is as emotional as it gets.

Then we get to add in Micah. Did I mention Micah's also their professor? The forbidden aspect of their relationship is exciting and riveting. Together, they are Hot, Hot, Hot! Seriously, the heat jumps off the pages.

Their relationship consists of fears, insecurities, and hesitation. Micah's scarred from a fire, and the scenes were the alphas talk to him about his scars are so damn tender and beautiful.

The writing's fantastic, keeping me invested throughout. It' so exciting to finally get Micah's story and to see him find love.

His Two Alphas is absolutely riveting. I love every single second of this menage romance. This scorching hot double forbidden romance is a wonderful treat that highly delivers all the feels!

The Pretense (Men of Meadowfall #7) by Anna Wineheart

Blurb

Torn apart by a series of miscarriages, Levi O'Devlin is no longer in the market for a relationship. How can he, when the alpha of his dreams craves a baby so much? Instead, Levi spends his days as a cashier, daydreaming of a better life.

Cole Lancaster had an omega, a long time ago. But a devastating accident happened, injuring Levi's friend and driving Cole and Levi apart. To escape his guilt these days, Cole works as a firefighter, borrowing his nephew just so he has a baby to hold.

It doesn't hurt that Levi's working right where Cole's nephew is... and Levi always smells so good.

When Levi's gran makes an irresistible offer—on the condition that Levi produces a great-grandchild—Levi's faced with a difficult choice: to give up the house of his memories, or to find someone to stand in as the 'boyfriend' he's been telling Gran about.

Cole doesn't mind being a pretend boyfriend, right? Never mind that Levi's heart still yearns for this alpha, and never mind that Cole's giving him another baby he can't carry to term. This is all just a pretense.

The Pretense is a 72k-word standalone non-shifter MPreg romance novel, with family bumblebee outfits, hurt/comfort themes, and an alpha who has secretly never stopped loving his omega.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Anna Wineheart's The Pretense, the seventh book in the Men of Meadowfall series, is a whole lot of fun.

It's cute and fun, as Levi and Cole become pretend boyfriends. Always one of my favorite tropes, I found myself instantly engrossed by this couple. And things get even better as their relationship escalates quickly.

Levi's grandmother is awesome, as she's quite eccentric and yet completely lovable. The camera parts are quite disturbing and I would have freaked out with them.

Be warned that an important theme is miscarriage, including a miscarriage scare, so beware if that's a trigger for you. As for the way it's written, I found it to be very well done, with understanding and compassion.

I found The Pretense to be inspirational and honest, as well as hot and intense. And don't forget there's humor. I couldn't help but to laugh out loud at the "love juices" conversation. I definitely enjoyed this story a lot.

Stepbrother's Secret (Men of Meadowfall #6) by Anna Wineheart

Blurb

What's worse than losing the love of your life? Answer: Finding out that he's now (1) a single dad and a widower, (2) your business rival, and (3) still very much your stepbrother.

Lonely and estranged from his family, Olivier wishes for love. His music shop is sinking—no thanks to Total Sounds, the new music chain in town. But that's not all: The alpha stepbrother he'd grown up loving? Eric's moving back to Meadowfall with his baby girl, and Ollie's life is officially a mess.

Eric has two goals: One, to raise his late wife's daughter. Two, to ensure that Total Sounds beats out all its competition, especially that one shop, Olivier's Strings. Except the owner of Olivier's Strings is an omega from his past—someone Eric had been truly, madly, deeply in love with. The very omega who had broken Eric's heart right outside their family home, and, unbeknownst to Eric, is still in love with him.

To escape the grief of his wife's passing, Eric confronts Olivier about their past... except Ollie's in heat.

One simmering encounter turns into another, and that new honey scent of Ollie's... It means Olivier is pregnant. Eric has his suspicions. Ollie insists that the baby isn't Eric's. Could it be...?

Stepbrother's Secret is a 99,000-word standalone non-shifter MPreg romance, with second-chance and hurt/comfort themes, an adorable 9-month-old, and an alpha who falls madly in love with his omega again.

Warning: This book contains references to past domestic/emotional abuse. Full list of warnings available on the Look Inside. If those are your triggers, please take care when reading!

I love Stepbrother's Secret by Anna Wineheart. It's wonderfully complex, with multi-layered family issues, as well as work issues.

The two step-brothers have always been attracted to each other, but they knew they couldn't be together. Eric and Ollie can't help but to give into the temptation, but their relationship involves lies and secrets that cause pain, hurt, and grief.

Their relationship is complicated to say the least. Ollie's already been outcast by his family, but he doesn't want the same for Eric. This part kills me, as Ollie wants more for Eric than he has himself.

Stepbrother's Secret includes abuse, danger, an accidental pregnancy, and insane family issues. And it's all a ton of fun! I definitely will be checking out the other books in this series.
