Damn, I love HL Day's Eager for More. The second book in the EagerBoyz series, it's absolutely delicious. If you like brother's best friend romances, this is a must read! 

Cain has long crushed on his best friend's brother, Nick. Heck, he basically followed him around with hearts in his eyes. But this Cain is certainly not the one Nick remembers as that little kid. 

Both men have been living with secrets they think will make it impossible for them to find someone who accepts them. Cain's a porn star. Nick likes to wear lace panties. They're both full of fear and doubts, insecurities and hesitations. And as for the conflict and light angst, it's very well done. Nothing seems forced or unrealistic, making it natural in it's development.

Dear lord, I love this book. The writing is great, the story line sweet and sexy, and the chemistry is off the charts. Add in the kinky panties, and I couldn't love this book more. 

There are also some wonderful side characters. Bailey is fantastic and completely lovable. There are plenty of intriguing characters who I can't wait to read about in the future. 

Despite being part of a series, it's easily read as a standalone. Now excuse me while I go off and devour the first book!

Eager for More is a story of finding someone who excepts you for who you are and what you like. And, damn, this HL Day tale is steamy and satisfying. Adding it to my re-read list right now!

Christmas Riches is a powerful illustration of what is truly important in life. I am extremely impressed with this HL Day romance. 

Tom may be rich as far as society is concerned, but he's alone. His family doesn't care about him and he doesn't have any friends. Aiden meanwhile isn't rich by the normal standards, but his life and heart are rich.

Their romance is one of intense sexual connection, but some obstacles get in the way of them moving forward. They come from different worlds, with a large age gap. Tom is only 18, with limited experiences, and Aiden struggles with society's opinion. They are opposites, money wise, experience wise, and age wise. But wow, Tom's experiences at just 18 are many. Just wow!

What starts as a hot hookup that seems so wrong, ends up as so much more, as each learn invaluable lessons from the other. 

My favorite quote is "Maybe you can make me smile." I mean, seriously, if that doesn't explain loneliness to you, I don't know what will.

Christmas Riches is so much more than just a Christmas romance. The last part of the book wrecked me. I cried, I smiled, I cried some more, and I swooned.

HL Day's Temporary Insanity is an amazing romance. I love it; every single second of it. The writing is phenomenal, drawing me in immediately.

Paul hates Indy on sight, remembering him as the guy who he caught with his ex. Indy's relentless in his flirting though. 


What follows is a fantastic story of not taking the time to know someone, of not being able to get over the past. It's a story of being unable to let someone in and keeping them at arm's length.

These two are so good together. Indy knows this, but Paul can't seem to embrace this truth. From the start, their hate sex feels like more, and they slowly start breaking down walls. It's a long and beautiful journey.

This author continues to impress me with amazing characters and a great pace, as well as a meaningful and emotional storyline. The character growth is exceptional. The author does a wonderful job writing two strong characters who deal with internal hang ups, family pressure, and a society neither wants to embrace. And even better yet, she gifts these two men who fantastic banter and snark.

Temporary Insanity's a riveting enemies to lovers story. Don't miss out on this one. HL Day will leave you absolutely satisfied!

A Step Too Far, the second book in the Too Far series, is an exciting romance/thriller by HL Day. 

Mikhail/Ryan is undercover, trying to get proof of Dmitry's connection to the Russian mob. But when Jake's hired as one of Dmitry's new dancers, things get complicated. Ryan may be undercover, but he's falling hard for the dancer. As Ryan and Jake act on their attraction, lines get blurred. 

The pace is great, the writing is wonderful, and the storyline's a whole lot of fun. Their story is full of desire, self-hatred, and a whole lot of action. The suspense is non-stop, as the writing is sharp and on-point. Overall, their relationship is very complicated and they have to deal with conflicts and self loathing.

If you enjoy thrillers, I would definitely recommend A Step too Far. HL Day fantastically weaves a great suspenseful story with plenty of love and emotions involved.

HL Day's Time for a Change is fun opposites attract romance.

When Michael meets Sam, he's annoyed and bothered by the crazy barista. Sam, however, is intrigued by the serious workaholic Michael. Love these men. From the start, I love the way Sam's ADHD is written. And damn, Sam is one persistent man. 

As for Michael, he's a workaholic who's hesitant to take up Sam on his advances. After being burnt in the past by several exes, he certainly has his reasons. Written in first person POV from Michael's side, the reader can easily get into Michael's mindset and understand why he's acting they way he does. Yes, he's a total jerk at times. Yes, he lacks self confidence. And yes, his behavior's completely maddening at times. But, in the end, his journey towards taking a chance and accepting he's worthy of love is worth it. 

One of my favorite parts of their relationship is the transformation of Michael from start to end. Sam certainly helps to relax the uptight man.  

The writing is great, with a seamless flow. It's certainly no surprise to me, as I love many of her books. 

Time for a Change is a sweet and easy read. Definitely check out this HL Day book when you're in the mood for something low angst, yet full of relationship drama.

A Dance Too Far is an amazing story by HL Day. It's spectacular, hooking me immediately, and keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout. 

Valentin and Max are instantly attracted to each other when they meet. Unfortunately, Valentin's stuck living under the thumb of Dimitri, who treats him as a possession. He has to do what Dimitri says, when he says to do it. 

I love how Max is enamored by Valentin, despite his cold and indifferent persona he portrays. Max knows there's more to Valentin than he shows, if he can just see the true man behind the stoicism. Of course, if he's ever going to see the real Valentin, first he has to face a whole lot of danger. 

I found their relationship to be wonderful and full of passion. They both help the other to overcome some serious issues. It's all wonderfully developed and is executed in an excellent way.

My heart hurt for Valentin for many reasons, including his injury. He's a fascinating character who's stuck in a no win situation. His past, as well as his present, is heartbreaking. 

I loved this story. It's the perfect combination of a character we can't help but to route for, and a tender romance that will save him, mixed in with some danger. The fact that it has a ballet dancer as one of it's main characters is just a delightful bonus. The suspense and fear will keep you intrigued throughout. 

A Dance too Far is a definite recommendation for anyone looking for a good comfort/hurt story. There's a whole lot to keep you interested and the characters are wonderful. Honestly, the book is as amazing as it's cover!

A Christmas Situation is an excellent follow up of A Temporary Situation by HL Day.

It immediately picks up with the same humor and snark that I loved in the first book.

We get to follow Dom and Tristan on their Christmas adventures, which is just perfectly written. 

Honestly, this series by HL Day is exactly what I look for in a romantic comedy. I will be re-reading these books often!
