Paper Snowflakes (Snowed In - Valentine's Inc. #2) by Sammi Cee

Amazon Link - Available in KU

Blurb

Who knew a white-out could bring two men clarity?

Cameron - There’s something about an older man that drives me wild, but when he’s an amazing father too... swoon-worthy. After avoiding my secret crush for months, Mother Nature steps in and gives me a nudge—the question is, am I brave enough to take my shot?

Ryan - Raising a kindergartener at forty-eight leaves me no time or energy for emotional attachments, just random hook-ups. At least that’s what I think until I get snowed in with the luscious—much younger—teacher.

While snowflakes are falling, there’s a dog to be walked, a snowman to build, and a fire to snuggle by. Maybe finding forever isn’t as complicated as they thought.

Paper Snowflakes is a standalone book in the Snowed In - Valentine’s Inc. series, which are only connected by the same writing prompt.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Paper Snowflakes, Sammi Cee's contribution to the multi-author Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series, is wonderful.

Ryan's background, which includes his ex wife, his son, and the reason he's raising his grandson, is developed in a great manner. It's a serious storyline, yet it's handled without any angst.

Stuart
is a fantastic character; absolutely entertaining and adorable. I enjoy that he's a large part of the story, as it's completely realistic and relateable.

The writing is great, with intriguing characters, a sweet storyline, and some tender romantic moments.

My favorite scene is that which reveals the significance of the title. It's beautiful and memorable.

Paper Snowflakes is a perfect read when you're in the mood for a feel-good, angst free romance. You won't want to miss this sweet and tender Sammi Cee read.

Candy Hearts (So Over The Holidays #2) by Erin McLellan

Blurb

Mechanic Benji Holiday is so over Valentine’s Day and men who don’t get him. A weekend getaway with friends to escape the holiday hubbub is exactly what he needs. But William O’Dare—a stern and silent nightclub owner with “Be My Valentine” practically stamped on his forehead—throws a wrench into Benji’s plans.

William has spent years focused on his career, and it has cost him friendships and love. Inexperienced in the business of romance, he’s on the hunt for the perfect partner, and he’s armed with specific criteria to guide him. But William didn’t expect a hunky mechanic wrapped in satin and lace to show up on his doorstep.

Unable to resist their attraction, Benji and William agree to be secret fake valentines for the weekend, but secrets have a way of getting out. William gets struck by Cupid’s arrow, and as the weekend winds down, he doesn’t want fake or secret. He wants Benji to be his valentine for real and for keeps.

Candy Hearts is a male/male Valentine’s Day novella featuring a house party power outage, meddling friends and siblings, naughty lingerie and naughtier toys, homemade Valentine's Day cards, and a happily ever after.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Erin McLellan's Candy Hearts, the second book in the So Over The Holidays series, is a super fun Valentine's Day romance.

With an Anti-Valentine's Day weekend planned at William's place, Benji is surprised to find there's no power and the party's postponed. Suddenly William is thrown off this game by Benji and the sparks fly.

Ahh...the come-ons. "Oh sweetheart, I'd do more than entertain you. If you'd let me." What starts as some hot hook-ups to pass the time eventually turns to more.

Their story involves a romantic setting, an enjoyable and easy storyline, and plenty of steam. The men have a strong chemistry and are hot together while exploring some spicy things. And yes, there is lace, as well as sex toys! But best of all are the reasons Benji, the hot mechanic, wears his pink lace!

The writing is great, with just the right amount of depth to the characters. The storyline is enjoyable, and the dialogue great. I definitely enjoy the way the men come together as their feelings develop.

Candy Hearts is a the perfect read when you're in the mood for a fluffy Valentine's Day romance. Erin McLellan mixes some humor with intense need and want into this delightful age gap romance.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Snow Daze, Pandora Pine's contribution to the Snowed In - Valentine's Inc series, is a wonderful quick read.

Hyde's an ex-military man who's in New Hampshire seeking a reprieve from reality and responsibility. Greer's just visiting, but he's also a broken man who's looking for more from his life.

It's
a story of forced proximity, a snow storm, and an intense connection. Theirs is a story of painful pasts full of guilt and grief. It's a story of forgiving oneself and finding someone who brings you back to life. It's a tender story of finding a friend and a lover.

This
is a serious story, definitely tough to read at times, which I wasn't expecting. The writing is great, with well developed characters who's feelings jump off the pages. I enjoy the way the plot develops and that the storm doesn't bring any danger, but rather a setting that's perfect for romantic feelings.

As for Greer, I adore him but I certainly can't relate to his love of moose. lol

Snow Daze is a perfect read when you're in the mood for a sweet romance. With the combination of snow and Valentine's Day, you'll want to just cozy up under a blanket to read this one.

Abandoning Ship (Valentine's Inc. Cruises #7) by Susan Hawke

Blurb

When the seas of love grow choppy, sometimes the best course is to abandon ship!

Two years ago, Ryan Abernathy was too tongue-tied, too introverted, and entirely too nervous to flirt with his hot but presumably straight new roommate. So when Ryan’s sister swooped in and scooped the hottie up for herself, he accepted his fate and kept his crush a secret.

Sawyer Muller never meant to find himself in a fake relationship with his sexy roommate's sister. And how was he supposed to know that Ryan would become his bestie and star in way too many of his dreams?

Things get complicated when Julia Abernathy strikes a deal with Sawyer to upgrade from fake boyfriend to groom, though they only need to stay married long enough for her to get her trust fund. They plan a fun cruise ship wedding with her entire family in tow. Sawyer figures it sounds like an adventure, and when they quietly divorce later, he’ll finally be free of all the fakery.

With Julia and Ryan’s homophobic, snooty family present, the pressure is turned up… especially when Sawyer finds himself jilted at the altar and drowning in a sea of blame. His only life preserver is the Abernathy sibling he can’t admit to wanting… Ryan.

This is an mm romantic comedy set in the Valentines Inc. world. Watch out for an awkward first kiss, a record-making group wedding, and sexy competitive shuffleboard. Before you board this ship, make sure you pack a fan because things are about to heat up on board this vessel!

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Abandoning Ship is Susan Hawke's contribution to the multi-author Valentine's Inc. Cruises series. And it is fabulous!

If you enjoy fluffy, feel-good romances, you'll love this book. When Sawyer's fake relationship/wedding to Julia is cancelled, he's able to realize how strong the attraction between him and Julia's brother, Ryan is.

Sawyer and Ryan are roommates, great friends, but Sawyer's been keeping the fake part of his relationship from him. When they add romance to their relationship, it's wonderful. Sweet and adorable, I love this couple.

Again, this story is fluffy. If you're looking for an intense, angst ridden book, look somewhere else. If you're looking for a completely realistic tale, look somewhere else. Just suspend expectations and dive into this enchanting tale.

This tale includes some secrets, some surprises, and a homophobic father you will not win.

My favorite thing has to be the humor. Not only do some funny things happen, but the banter between the characters is light hearted and entertaining. Love it!

Abandoning Ship is amazing. No surprise with Susan Hawke as the author. Her writing is fantastic as always and the characters are enjoyable as usual. Be sure to check out this enjoyable gem.

Where There's a Will (Project Runway #2) by Gianni Holmes

Blurb

Can they pull off a Valentine's Day Wedding in just two weeks?

Ainsley couldn't be happier that he and Willy have settled on a wedding date even if it's on Valentine's Day. With just two weeks to plan a fairytale wedding, he is adamant that everything has to be just as he envisioned it. Maybe if he gives Willy the perfect wedding, he will feel better about his insecurities that he's not good enough for Willy. But how can he feel otherwise when his social media accounts are blowing up with perfect examples of how unsuitable he is for someone like Willy?

Will knows Ainsley well enough to brace himself for an extravagant wedding affair. As the date approaches, he can't help but notice the difference in his fiancé since Ainsley started planning their wedding. The more invested Ainsley was, the more strained their relationship becomes. Can Will soothe his fiancé's fears, or will he cancel their wedding when he learns Ainsley's odd behavior is more than pre-wedding jitters?

This book is not meant to be read as a standalone. The story follows androgynous model, Ainsley, and his partner Will from Unwrapping Ainsley, the first book in The Runway Project series.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Gianni Holmes' Where There's A Will is a fantastic follow up to Unwrapping Ainsley.

I loved Will and Ainsley before, and I love them even more now. They're funny, sweet, and so damn steamy together. In this novella, we get to follow along as they plan a Valentine's Day wedding.

I think my favorite Will moment has to be sleepy and confused Will. That scene is downright adorable and Will's so cute and loveable. My favorite Ainsley scenes are bridezilla Ainsley. Omg. Wedding planning Ainsley is perfectly him. It's frustrating but downright funny. Both men are fantastic. Ainsley's fun, loveable, and full of life and Will is just wow, the perfect guy for Ainsley.

And, of course, I love the lace!

I love every minute of Where There's A Will. I'm hoping Gianni Holmes will treat us to more of these guys in the future.

Kiss Me Tomorrow (Valentine’s Inc. #8) by Ashe Winters

Blurb

Valentine's Inc Book 8.

A Valentine’s Day blind date. A spark they didn’t expect. And a secret that might ruin it all.

Malcolm

My friends are tired of my moping after my ex packed his bags and took off a year ago. I thought I was in love, he obviously wasn’t. In order to get them off my back, I agree to one Valentine’s date that they’ll set up using the company Valentine’s Inc., which two of my friends run. What I don’t expect is the fun, flirty date with my wet dream—a young Johnny Depp lookalike.

Levi

To make ends meet, I work for Valentine’s Inc doing what I did to survive on the streets… charm the pants off men. Except, with Valentine’s Inc, the clients have to keep their pants on, which means I only have to do the charming part. It’s an easy job until I find myself on a date where the tables are turned, and I’m charmed instead. Too bad it’s against company rules to get physical with a client. For once, I wouldn’t mind exploring this crazy spark between us for something more. Then again, there’s always tomorrow… when I’m off the clock.

Just when Levi thinks things might be perfect between them, a run-in with an old friend reveals his difficult past to Malcolm before Levi is ready. Will Malcolm accept it and fully ignite the spark between them? Or will their whirlwind relationship come to a crashing halt?

Kiss Me Tomorrow is a 68k MM romance and is Book 8 in the Valentine's Inc. Series. Ten Authors. One Dating Agency. A world of love possibilities.

Review
My Rating - 4 Stars!

Kiss Me Tomorrow is a fun Valentine's read by Ashe Winters. It's part of the Valentine's Inc series, which in itself is great.

A fake date for Mal and Levi ends up leading to so much more than either man expects. Mal and Levi are wonderful together, and they are so darn loveable.

I love everything about Levi's story. It's heartbreaking, as he's had some awful, tough years. He's appreciative and hardworking and I love everything about his cosmetology school.

And Mal, dear lord, his story is such a tear jerker too. He wants what's best for his mom, but it's tough to deal with. This part is so well written, realistically demonstrating how tough things are for a caregiver.

Kiss Me Tomorrow is a great mix of realistic and unique. They work hard to make their relationship a possibility. They're understanding and patient of each other. It's a hot, steamy, slow-burn romance that's fun to read.
