Being a huge fan of Renae Kaye, I am not surprised that Knowing Me, Knowing You hooked me immediately.

It's a complicated second chance romance, between Ambrose and Shane who are old friends and formerly hooked-up. 

Ambrose's back in town after getting injured. He's a pro footballer and he's home to heal, as well as see Shane. But Shane's not sure how to handle his long time friend. He loves him, but isn't sure if he can actually take a risk. 

It's a tender and romantic story of the different types of love, and the beauty of building a relationship based on a lifetime of love. 

The author does a fantastic job with the writing of demi-sexuality. It's written with understanding and care. And perfectly described as falling in love with a person, no matter what the body looks like. 

I love how Renae tackles the celebrity of Ambrose. There is definitely a difference between someone's public persona, and the real person. This is handled so remarkably, with so many examples thrown in. 

One wonderful reminder from this story is that it's special when you find someone who gets you, completely understands you, and loves you the way you are.

And, of course, it's absolutely amazing that Renae Kaye gifts us with all of our favorite men from this Loving You series. It's so much fun seeing them and getting to enjoy them again.

Overall, I love Knowing Me, Knowing You, and I'm so happy with this entire series.

Oh my...The Blinding Light!  Sigh!

The Blinding Light, book 2 in The Tav series by Renae Kaye, is downright amazing and wonderful!

I absolutely adore Davo and Lee.

Davo's just a normal guy.  He's accepted that he is gay, but he doesn't want to look femme.  Not at all.  He's a football playing dude who loves to do things that make him appear masculine. And he certainly doesn't want to ever settle down with one person.

Then he meets Lee.

Of course, when he first sees Lee, he thinks that Lee is a girl and he is very attracted to her. Lee's got red hair, a cute dress and very  girly red shoes. But, wait, why is Dao finding himself attracted to a girl if he's gay? It ends up that Lee is a guy who likes to wear dresses sometimes.

This totally confuses Davo. He avoids being femme in any way and doesn't feel comfortable with femme things. So how the hell can he still be attracted to Lee?

And thus begins Davo's journey of trying to figure out how he truly feels and if he's going to allow himself to be with Lee.

The Blinding Light is truly a wonderful book. Davo and Lee men are sweet, loving and just so perfect for one another. This story became a favorite of mine right away when I read it years ago.

The Blinding Light is the 1st book in The Tav Series by Renae Kaye.

And it is wonderful!

In Blinding Light, we have Jake and Patrick.

Jake has had some problems with keeping a steady job.

He desperately needs money to help out his family so he's been struggling.

He ends up taking a job as a housekeeper for Patrick.

Ends up Patrick is not at all what Jake was expecting.

Not only does Jake seem to be very picky and rude, he is also blind.

And besides that, Patrick is very used to get his own way when people are helping him.  

To say that they butt heads over things is an understatement.

Soon though, things change and they start to become friends.  And then lovers.

And for the first time, they can each say that they have someone in their lives who will look out for them and support them.

It is a very sweet book.  

It was heart-warming, emotional, and funny.

I loved Jake and Patrick as a couple.

Next week I will discuss Book 2 in the series.
