Mr Frosty Pants is a rare full length Christmas novel by Leta Blake.
When Casey returns home for the holidays, he's lonely and wondering about his former best friend, Joel. He's still missing Joel, who he secretly loved. Despite Joel's not so friendly reception of Casey, Joel is secretly also crushing on his former friend.
This is a sweet second chance romance between two friends who couldn't admit their feelings when they were in high school. Now four years later, they reunite and feelings are slowly revealed.
One of the poignant parts of this tale is that the things we do and say are a result of the way we grew up. Both men have grown up with their fathers leading their way. Neither man has ever been able to escape their father's control.
They've been kept apart due to their different social standings and a whole lot of homophobia. The writer does an impressive job with the character development, and the pace of the story.
Leta Blake is well known in the gay romance genre, and Mr Frosty Pants is another wonderful romance to add to her accomplishments.
