Don't ever accidentally fall for the straight guy. Especially when he's trying to pry your family's business right out from under you. I should know. Because when Hudson Wilde walks into my family's pub and begins babbling so adorably, I can't help but fall just a little bit in love. But I'm looking for Forever Man, and the sexy American is certainly not him. He's so confused about what he wants, even choosing something from the dinner menu throws him into a fuddle. But those eyes... how can I resist?
Until, of course, his business deal sends me to Hobie, Texas, right into the middle of Hudson's steady life, more gay Wildes than can fit on a dance floor, and an ex-girlfriend who may or may not be content remaining an ex. But the more time I spend with Hudson, the more I think he might be my Forever Man after all. And I may be his. Is it possible we could both be so lucky?
Hudson's Luck is the fourth book in the Forever Wilde series but can be read on its own. Beware it includes 93k words of delicious man parts touching, grandfathers meddling, neighbors nosy-ing, dogs fornicating, cats being cats, horses... ah, crunching apples? or something... and one very flirty Stevie.
My Rating - 5 Stars!
Hudson's Luck, is classic Lucy Lennox at her best! It is definitely a phenomenal story that needs to be read in one sitting, so set aside some time for this beauty.
This is the 4th book in the Forever Wilde series, but it can be read as a standalone. That said, do yourself a favor and read them all if you haven't.
At the beginning of the story, Hudson has found himself embarrassed by accidentally proposing to his girlfriend, who happens to be his boss's daughter. Not the easiest thing to deal with.
Hudson, the oldest of his siblings, is the responsible one, always following his plans and schedules. Being sent to Ireland for a bit by his boss allows him the perfect chance to let loose and try something new. Of course, he never expects to find such an interesting hookup.
Charlie has been searching for his forever guy. As he's persuaded to let loose and stop trying to put so much pressure on every first date, he ends up hooking up with Hudson.
What follows is Hudson's struggle to accept his sexuality, both men trying to figure out the depth of their feelings for one another, them dealing with the conflict of working together, as well as dealing with the fact that they live in 2 different countries.
I absolutely love both of these men. They are both captivating, entertaining, and down right fun to read about. They have a strong connection and make for such a perfect, passionate couple.
If you have read many of Lucy's Made Marian series, you will find yourself delighted by some wonderful character cameos!
As usual, Lucy Lennox manages to create a beautiful romance with fantastic characters. She is proven in this genre, and does not disappoint with Hudson's Luck. I will be anxiously awaiting the next in the series!
