Firm Hand by Nora Phoenix

Blurb

How can he want to call his best friend’s son Sir? Or even worse…Daddy?

Cornell is broken after losing his best friend Jonas and getting hurt himself. He’s too old, too imperfect to ever attract a Dom again.

Until Rhys.

When Rhys gives him commands, Cornell yearns to obey.
When Rhys takes care of him, Cornell wants to kneel for him.
When Rhys is everything he’s dreamed of, Cornell aches to call him Sir.
And when Rhys makes him fly, Cornell soars higher than ever before.

But there’s one problem. Rhys is twenty years his junior…and he’s Jonas’s son. How can you can your best friend’s son Sir…or Daddy?

Firm Hand is a standalone slow burn MM romance with daddy kink, an age gap, a very caring Daddy and a boy who needs it, hurt/comfort, mild D/s play, and all the feels.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Wow. I love Nora Phoenix's Firm Hand. It's an amazing May to December romance, between a godfather and his godson. I was instantly riveted and loved every second!

Cornell has known Rhys forever. Through the death of a mutual loved one, they find more than they ever could have expected. When Rhys decides to take care of the injured Cornell, no one would expect this pair of godfather and godson to become lovers. But the way their relationship develops over time is wonderfully done. It's written in an authentic and natural manner. The BDSM aspect is what brings them together, and holy crap, I love it.

Rhys is a natural caretaker and recognizes what Cornell need. This story involves pain that centers Cole, as well as touch that grounds him. The changes from being Cole's Dom to his lover is exquisite. Society would never expect a relationship like theirs, but it works and it works well.

My favorite scene has to be the first time they have sex. The emotions are high, Rhys shows so much tenderness while being dominate, and the eager anticipation jumps off the pages.

Their relationship is full of intense need and want. The author weaves a heart-warming story that starts with grief and ends in love and healing. Through their grief, they find a new relationship that involves Daddy play, pain, humiliation, and mostly importantly love and commitment.

I highly recommend Firm Hand to anyone who enjoys BDSM. Nora Phoenix delights in this tale of two men navigating the aspects of their evolving relationship. Both riveting and compelling, I couldn't put this one down.
