In this three-book set, you’ll get to experience all the passion, sarcasm, hockey action, and romance that reviewers have called “Beautifully Written”, “Surprisingly Heartfelt”, and “Hot! Hot! Hot!”
“The writing in this is snappy and awesome, the story moves at a great pace and oh it's HOT AS EVER-LOVING HELL. There's romance that never veers into a too-sappy place, it's FUNNY and full of great lines right and left, and so engaging that I couldn't stop reading it. The ending is satisfying, with our characters not becoming perfect people but becoming better together than they are apart, and that's just about as romantic as it gets.” Avon Gale – Author of the Scoring Chances series

OMG, the Point Shot Trilogy, by VL Locey is a spectacular read. Having read each book individually when they were released, reading them all together is a amazing treat!
The compilation of three romances, Two Man Advantage, Game Misconduct, and Full Strength, this tells the story of Dan and Vic, as they struggle through their attraction, some mistakes, and trying to move forward.
I seriously love this series. It's one I can re-read over and over.
Dan is an extremely loveable man. As for Vic, well, he's a brash, in your face character, who's both lovable and frustrating. He's not a sweet man by any chance, but when he's in love, he's all in.
As this is three stories in one book, there's a lot going on.
The first book, Two Man Advantage, deals with their enemies to lovers relationship. There is no love between these two men when they are selected as roommates. But following some hate sex and some awkward moments, the two fall in love. They are hot together; as in super steamy.
The second book, Game Misconduct, deals with the ramifications of a mistake that Vic made. It definitely creates a divide between the men, and spends time dealing with Vic's handling of the situation. This one had me so damn mad at times, but it definitely didn't go the way I assumed it would go, which is fantastic.
The third book, Full Strength, has the men back together and dealing with their future. They are outed and struggle with the backlash. They have to deal with homophobia, as well as the support of some of their teammates. Of course being gay and/or bisexual isn't easy in professional sports. They also have to deal with the addiction issue and trouble with exes. But it's the Jack moments that really stole my heart. I couldn't stop laughing at these moments. I adore how light-hearted and funny they are.
Overall, I absolutely love Dan and Vic as a couple. They have intense chemistry and are full of snark and banter. I couldn't put down this book full of complications, family issues, and career issues. And in the end it's full of romance as both characters experience a whole lot of growth.

This series is written in the manner we've come to expect from VL Locey. A great, detailed story, two complex men, and a whole lot of romance. The Point Shot Trilogy is a must read for any fan of sports romances.
