From the get-go, The Decision has the same terrific tone as the prior books in the series by Piper Scott.
Simon and Harlow! They are everything I was hoping they would be.
Simon, who's been lusting after Harlow for a while, is suddenly a target of that same Harlow. Why? Well, when Harlow's daughter disappeared, she went to Simon's son and is now hiding in Simon's house.
No one knew that Simon worked for Harlow, or what Simon did for a living. So, now he's struggling as his worlds are colliding, and he will actually come face to face with Harlow for the first time. And that's just the beginning.
This story contains so many different plots and layers - an actress who's unhappy with her life, a vengeful co-worker, a scary ex, young love, a romance between boss and employee, heartache, and more.
Simon and Harlow's romance is gripping, emotional, raw, gritty, and absolutely marvelous! They have both been living for others, with Simon giving up his life to care for his siblings and nephew, and Harlow spending all his energy protecting his daughter as he's afraid to love again. But, together, they can start to live for themselves.
And of course we get more of the fabulous guys from the Single Dad's Support Group. They are all as funny, supportive, and inspiring as always. They truly have all become family for each other.
This series, and this 4th installment, The Decision, are completely captivating. I love all the single dads, their stories, and all the babies. If you don't read mpreg, please note that these books are so much more than mpreg. Honestly, the stories are so well developed, with so much of the content reading as if it's just a regular contemporary. Sometimes I forget that they even are mpreg. So please don't let that turn you off. Piper Scott has a hit on her hands!
