BLURB
Liam Murphy has kicked his drug habit and now pays for the high living costs in London as an escort. His life is finally in balance. His only problem is that he obsesses about the minimum number of times he has to bend over to make ends meet. As long as he has his emotions under control, it’ll be fine. That’s what Liam keeps telling himself until he meets the young widower Alastair, also known as Ali, whose emerald eyes remind him of Ireland.
“I...I want us to have sex as though we’re making love.”
Making love? Jaysus.
I scratch my head. “Okay. You mean more kisses and shit?”
Ali laughs.
“And shit.” His face lights up and he looks about ten years younger. “Like cuddles.”

REVIEW
My Rating - 5 Stars!
Liam For Hire, my first time reading A Zukowski, is one of those precious books that grabs your attention, losing you completely in it's world, leaving you a better person for having read it.
It is deep and painful story of Liam and Ali, full of hardships, grief, and adversity.
Liam, a recovering addict who's now a prostitute, is hired by Ali. Ali's new to the gay scene and wants to know what it's like to be with a man. Immediately though, something is different than expected. Ali treats Liam as more than a prostitute, treating him special, wanting to talk with him and spend time with him.
The author does a fantastic job with this multi-layered story of self-acceptance, self-forgiveness, and deciding your self-worth.
Both men have issues in their past that have brought them to this painful time in their lives. Liam has lost love twice, doesn't ever want to open himself up to that pain again. Ali has guilt over lying to his wife, as he never told her that he's gay before she died.
Liam doesn't think he's worthy of love, so when he starts developing feelings for Ali, he's unable to accept this love.
Sometimes you need more than a helping hand, also needing to find worth in yourself, before you can fully move forward with your life. And as an addict, Liam definitely needs to accept himself before he can move on from his current way of living.
As the overall struggle in this story is self-love and self-forgiving, I love this quote by Ali, "there's no time to waste. When we find happiness, we grab hold of it and never let go."
Honestly, just read Liam For Hire! It is well worth your time. And a huge thank you to A Zukowski for creating this wonderful story!
