My Rating - 4 Stars!
A True Fit is a wonderful and tender romance by Michele Notaro.
This story has so much to offer - misunderstandings and assumptions, a missing brother, a slow burn romance, and some down right tender moments. It's a tale of the highs and lows involved with falling for someone who you should be staying away from, only to hopefully have it all work out.
It's bad enough to become friends with your boss's ex, but to want more? That is not an easy road to travel. How do you learn to trust anyone when you've never been able to trust anyone before? How do you deal with knowing the man you're falling for doesn't want any commitment?
I love Trent and Declan. The start of their friendship great, their growing feelings for each other are great. My heart breaks for Trent when he's left devastated after kissing his best friend, knowing he can never settle for just being friends with Declan. Meanwhile, poor Declan just feels abandoned again. It is all so heart-breaking.
I fell in love with the tone of this story, as it is just a feel good read, despite all the little bits of angst. It is well written, as it's heartfelt, compassionate, and genuine.
And the characters are wonderful. Following their journey from awkward acquaintances, to friends, to lovers is stupendous!
And can I just say Lace!!! If you're like me, and you love men in lace, read this book!!!
I recommend A True Fit to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance. Michele Notaro will not disappoint. And, now I need to put the rest of this series on my TBR list!

Born and raised in Baltimore, I grew up dancing and swimming. I taught dance—ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop & modern—for ten years before I had my kids. Now I’m a stay-at-home mom who reads, writes and does PTA everything—as long as I have my coffee. Two other tattooed moms and I run the whole damn PTA, and if I may say so myself, we rock it… even if I want to rip my hair out more than half the time.
