BLURB

The FIRST Wilde's book. Go back to where it all began...

Jon Beatty thought he’d found the best man for him until Craig walked out. To add insult to injury, Craig's got a new lover—a woman—and wants Jon to be a different kind of best man…at his wedding.

Reasoning that the only way to get over one man is to get under another, Jon heads out to Wilde’s, the night club on Capitol Hill famous for its hot clientele and hotter bartenders. Jon just wants to get drunk and get laid, and bartender Liam Sable is more than willing to help with both.

Their one night stand turns into a rebound fling, but as Jon moves on with Liam, Craig starts having second thoughts about the break-up. His tiresome antics are the least of Jon and Liam’s worries, though. The least annoying, and the least dangerous…

NOTE: This book was previously published.

REVIEW
My Rating - 4 Stars!

The Best Man is the first book in LA Witt's Wilde's series.

It is a great book, that takes us readers on a great emotional ride.

When we meet Jon, he's being asked to be the best man in his ex, Craig's wedding. Not an easy thing to say yes to, as he wishes he was still with Craig. Everything changes though, when he meets Liam and the sparks fly. They meet up for a one night stand, which eventually turns into a relationship.

But, of course there's people around who want to cause them trouble, the kind that is likely to cause them to breakup. Even Craig and his fiancée are giving them trouble.

I really like Jon and Liam. They are both guys who have endured some crap from their exes. They are easy to root for and finding a good relationship with one another is rewarding and satisfying.

This story is well written, with some mystery and action to keep you on your toes. In the end, they will get their happy ending, but it won't be an easy road to get there.

I have re-read The Best Man several times, as I just like the plot, the characters, and LA Witt's writing style. If you haven't read it, be sure to check it out.
