RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - MF - Blocked (Boston Terriers Hockey #3) by Jacob Chance

Title: Blocked
Series: Boston Terriers Hockey
Author: Jacob Chance
Genre: New Adult/Sports Romance
Release Date: June 26, 2020

Attending Boston University was something we were supposed to do together, until Shaw Masters, my brother’s best friend, broke my heart and chased our dream without me.

Choosing bromance over romance, Shaw is now living his best life, playing hockey for the Boston Terriers while I’ve wasted a year letting my shattered heart rob me of my future.

But not anymore.

Now, also attending B.U., I’m determined to forget he exists.

Who cares if he’s everywhere I turn with his familiar, lingering gaze drawing me in?

Who cares if his presence stirs up old feelings best forgotten?

He might be the goalie, but it’s my turn to block him from gliding back into my heart.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Blocked, a Boston Terriers Hockey book, is a great brother's best friend romance by Jacob Chance.

This story is told in two distinct parts. First is when they easily fall together and are wonderful for one another. Next is when conflict arises. When they meet up again, the uncertainty is still there, but Shaw works hard to become Maddie's friend again.

Shaw, ahh Shaw. He is one hell of a lovable man. He is major book boyfriend material. So read and enjoy meeting Shaw!

I love Shaw and Maddie together. Other than their hiccup, they are wonderful as a couple. Personally, I hated the conflict, as it's one of those totally avoidable plot events. But, it still works.

There story is one of forbidden romance, doubts, and meddling. In the end, I enjoy the way they work to be together again. The writing is great, the storyline flows well, and I love the use alternating first person pov.

Blocked is an enjoyable new adult sports romance. Jacob Chance definitely left me happy in the end. I always love a good sports romance, and this one is just that. Now I'm excited to read the first two books in the series.
