Blurb
You're right until now I haven’t dated. Ever. But for you, Lincoln Reynolds, I will. So what do you say? Will you go on a date with me?”
Lincoln Reynolds grew up cowboy. And that meant when you got thrown off a horse, you cowboy up and shake it off. You don't show fear, you don't let it shake you, and you never let them see you cry.
Matt has stood by and watched as each of his friends has found love, and he's truly happy for them. It isn’t that he doesn’t believe in love, he just knows it isn’t for him. And he had been fine with that until the night that strong cowboy fell apart in his arms. Now he wants nothing more than to be the one person Lincoln can lean on.
But for these two men to be together, Lincoln will have to realize it takes a strong man to admit when they are weak, and Matt will have to realize that everyone deserves a happy ever after.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!
Jacki James' Cowboy Rules is a fantastic addition to her Breaking The Rules series.
Matt's always been a one night stand kind of guy. Essentially, his sense of guilt is large, as he's punishing himself by not letting himself be happy. Lincoln, meanwhile, feels stuck, as he's been watching all his friends moving forward with their lives.
Matt and Lincoln are two men who don't know what they're doing, as Lincoln has no dating experience. They'll have fears and doubts they have to face. But, as they try to figure out what their rules are, I enjoyed every second.
They're are a fantastic couple who just charm the reader with little things, like playing footsies under the table. Things like this just melted my heart.
As for the sex, we knew they had great chemistry, but it's amazing to witness it. I also enjoy the surprise in their sex lives, as it's a great way to change things up from the norm. These two are just so much fun.
And of course, I love the group of friends in this book. They're nice, kind, and have created a strong family with one another. I also adore the kids.
I absolutely love Jacki James' writing style. And I love, love, love this story. It's a feel-good, emotional ride, that contains so much love.
The whole Breaking The Rules series is superb. Each book gives us a glimpse of new members to this big, extended, chosen family. And this time, we get to see Spencer. I cannot wait to read more of Spencer.
