Deserted is the third book in the Auctioned Series, following book 1, Auctioned, and book 2, Stranded.
Gray Nolan had survived a kidnapping where he was supposed to have been auctioned off to the highest bidder. He had also survived being stranded on an island, under siege from a different set of foes, and throughout the hell they’d all endured, their motto had been “Leave no man behind.”

Deserted, the third book in the Auctioned series by Cara Dee, is a thrilling tale full of action and adventure. This is not a standalone, so be sure to read the previous books, which start with Auctioned.
Combining danger, romance, and steam, Gray is on the run again in this tension filled journey, as he's trying to fulfill the promise he made. Along the way however, he connects with Darius, and makes a fantastic relationship with Jayden.
And what a breath of fresh air Jayden is. As sad as his part in the story is, oh, how I love him and smiled often because of him. His addition definitely helps lower the angst throughout.
As for Gray and Darius, you won't be disappointed with them. They come alive and their relationship develops beautifully.
This is a story with PTSD, humor, and steam. The characters are extremely multi-layered and easily weave their way into the reader's heart. The author keeps the reader riveted and fully absorbed in the story throughout. The writing style is extraordinary. All told from from Gray's pov, the reader is fully brought into the action, suspense, and developing romance. As well, the author throws in some great twists and turns to keep things interesting.
Deserted had me consumed throughout and I can't wait for the next book in this exciting Cara Dee series.
