LE Franks' Tasty is a cute opposites attract romance.
This is a romance between Christian, a famous chef and Andy, a cop. Christian is starting over, trying to re-start his life in a new town when he meets Andy.
As far as meet cutes go, this one is fabulous, as Christian is pulled over on suspicion of drug trafficking. I couldn't stop laughing with how Christian handled the situation.
The age gap is an enjoyable addition to this tale. But the main intriguing factor to their relationship is the food issue. Christian is a famous chef who likes to appreciate the finer side of food, talking about the flavors and uniqueness of each meal. Andy, meanwhile, is someone who can't appreciate food, as he has an issue that makes food all taste the pretty much the same.
This makes for a fascinating idea, as of course this is a major roadblock for these two being together. I mean really, Andy eats all his food covered in ketchup. What a major no-no to Christian. Can you say opposites?
Written in 3rd person, I enjoy the writing style, pace, dialogue, etc. The humor is ever present, and the storyline is enticing.
Tasty AF is a short and quick read that is sweet throughout. LE Franks will leave you satisfied with this slow burn romance.
