Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!
The Taking Care series by Gianni Holmes is wonderful. Book two, Take Care of Me, is a wonderful continuation of book one, Take Care of You.
Picking up where Take Care of You left off, Declan's recovering in the hospital, And thank god that he's ok, as book one had me scared throughout. Moving in with Owen while he heals helps take their relationship to the next level.
The Daddy dynamics are still awesome, the discipline is good, and the heat is high. Daddy Declan is perfect for the older Owen. Some scenes are so hot that you feel the sizzle jumping off the page, including some creative ways for Declan to pleasure his man while he's injured. And the trust gained between this two is splendid.
This second installment in Declan and Owen's romance is full of heat, some uncertainty, and some family issues. After all, it's never easy to introduce your younger boyfriend to your adult kids.
These two men are so damn perfect for each other. Despite their differences, and society's view on their age difference, they belong together. As well, the money disparity is also greatly explored in a realistic way.
The writing is superb, with amazing characters, a great pace, and an exquisite storyline.
Take Care of Me is a beautiful tale of learning how to let someone take care of you, as everyone deserves someone to care for them. No one should ever be ignoring their own needs to take care of others. Read this series. It's beautiful. If you're a fan of a reverse Daddy dynamic, this is a must read!
