Take Care of Me (Taking Care #2) by Gianni Holmes

I will never quit my job at 46-years-old. Nope, never gonna do it.

Owen's no ordinary Boy

He's the Boy who declines a Black Card with no preset spending limit.
He's the Boy who asks for audiobooks when he can have anything his heart desires.
He's also the Boy who refuses to quit his job even though his young Daddy is all set to support him and his dreams.

Declan's one extraordinary Daddy

One who hates punishment but knows when his Boy needs a bit of discipline.
One who doesn't take too kindly to anyone making his Boy's life a living hell.
And one who promises to live up to his Boy's hidden fantasies.

When Owen and Declan's bubble of happiness is disturbed by external factors, will Declan be able to convince him that if he's not too old to find love, then he's not too old to pursue his dreams?

Take Care of Me is the second book in the Taking Care trilogy. This is a continuing series with the same characters. These books are not meant to be read as a standalone.

My Rating -  5 Stars!

The Taking Care series by Gianni Holmes is wonderful. Book two, Take Care of Me, is a wonderful continuation of book one, Take Care of You.

Picking up where Take Care of You left off, Declan's recovering in the hospital,  And thank god that he's ok, as book one had me scared throughout. Moving in with Owen while he heals helps take their relationship to the next level.

The Daddy dynamics are still awesome, the discipline is good, and the heat is high. Daddy Declan is perfect for the older Owen. Some scenes are so hot that you feel the sizzle jumping off the page, including some creative ways for Declan to pleasure his man while he's injured. And the trust gained between this two is splendid.

This second installment in Declan and Owen's romance is full of heat, some uncertainty, and some family issues. After all, it's never easy to introduce your younger boyfriend to your adult kids.

These two men are so damn perfect for each other. Despite their differences, and society's view on their age difference, they belong together. As well, the money disparity is also greatly explored in a realistic way.

The writing is superb, with amazing characters, a great pace, and an exquisite storyline.

Take Care of Me is a beautiful tale of learning how to let someone take care of you, as everyone deserves someone to care for them. No one should ever be ignoring their own needs to take care of others. Read this series. It's beautiful. If you're a fan of a reverse Daddy dynamic, this is a must read!
