Ash wants a family, and is determined to continue with a surrogacy he’d begun with his ex. Bringing baby Mia home, he vows that he will be the best father he can be. Nothing in this world matters more to him than caring for his daughter, not even accidentally falling in lust with the doctor next door. Challenged by his growing attraction to Sean, and confronted by painful memories of his family, Ash has to learn that love is all that matters.
When ER doctor Sean moves in with his friends next door to sexy single father Ash, he falls so quickly it takes his breath away. The sex they have is hot, but Ash is adamant his heart is too full with love for his daughter to let anyone else in. Why is Sean the only one who sees how scared Ash is, and how can he prove to his new lover that he desperately wants the three of them to become a family?

My Rating - 5 Stars!
Single, book one in RJ Scott's Single Dads series is a heartwarming, slow burn romance.
New neighbors Ash and Sean meet under some not so good, yet funny, circumstances. After that, a friendship forms and the kissing starts.
I love these two. Ash is absolutely adorable, a complete darling, yet he's a nervous single dad to baby Mia. It's sweet as can be the way his neighbors take to baby Mia so quickly.
As for Sean, he's an ER doctor and perfectly wonderful with both Ash and his baby. And, damn, they are hot together!
Not only is this a beautiful romance, it's also a story of a complicated relationship between mother and son. Ashe's past with his mother is full of judgement and insults. Now's the time for understanding and forgiveness. It's wonderfully done and a sweet side story.
I love and adore the group of secondary characters. They're great friends, super supportive, and are full of laughs and love.
I'm excited for more of this Single Dads series. Single is absolutely wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who likes babies in their stories. RJ Scott pulls out all the emotions in this tender romance. You won't regret it!
