Face Offs & Cheap Shots is another riveting sports romance. This Eden Finley and Saxon James book is absolutely fabulous. The second book in the CU Hockey series, it is easily read as a standalone. But, omg, if you haven't yet, you need to read Power Plays & Straights A's because it just may be my new favorite book of the year.

In this delightful gem, we get the romance of Topher and TJ. Their tale is a wonderful mix of teammates, rivals, and enemies to lovers. It's also a fantastic story of sexual exploration with some delicious firsts.

I love the snark and banter between the two, with the hate directly related to their mutual attraction. I love it all. With a contest for captain, and a dare of a kiss, everything changes for these two.

They are super hot together, with some super steamy sex, including locker room sex. Yes, you read that right. There is Locker Room Sex!

Their journey includes first times, family issues, and college hockey. There is angst in regards to their futures, as one has a father who has already has plans set for his son. I actually love the way everything played out with his father.

Written in alternating 1st person pov, these authors are stellar. Every emotion, every movement, every single thing fully comes alive. The authors add a whole lot of snark and banter to laughing throughout.

Face Offs & Cheap Shots is a must read for fans of sports romances. It is everything I love about sports romances. It will keep you reading late into the night, as this couple is just that awesome. Just read it and enjoy!
