Ethan,
About last night... I could blame the bourbon. I could say I let things get out of hand, that I should have never called you, but I'm done lying to myself—to you. I know what you're going to say. You're not very good at keeping your opinions to yourself, but this can't happen. It's inappropriate, at best. I'm your boss. Not to mention, you're clearly still hung up on him. I'm not a consolation prize.

Anders~

Anders,
You didn't think it was inappropriate when you had your tongue down my throat, but I digress. As for your accusation, I'm not the only one stuck in the past, but at least I'm not running from it. I can't believe I'm about to say this… Maybe you're right. You shouldn’t have called me. Especially if you never intended to own it. Own that you wanted it to happen. Admit that you wanted me.

Not so sincerely,
Yours

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Not So Sincerely, Yours is the second book in the For Him series by AM Johnson. And damn, I love this series. The first book, Love Always, Wild is one of my favorite reads from 2020. I highly recommend reading that before jumping into this one.

In Love Always, Wild,  Anders was in love with Wilder and Ethan is friends with Jax. Their meeting in the beginning of this book is one hell of a memorable one. And damn, they get off on the wrong foot.

Fast forward and Ethan is Anders' temporary assistant. And it's every bit as awkward as you'd expect.

But, Oh man, I love Ethan. He's stubborn, charming, witty, and fully able to stand up to Anders. I love and adore his genuine personality and his desire to help people. And help Anders is just what he does.

Their texts are simply fabulous. One can't help but to fall in love with these guys and root for them.

This is a fabulous enemies to lovers romance. Their journey towards becoming friends is not an easy one, but they eventually get there. The feelings are there, but they still can't get things right, as there are past ghosts in their way. They are just so wonderful together. It's a slow burn journey for them that is well worth the wait.

And Jason, oh man, Jason. He has a brain injury and isn't independent. His addition to the story is touching as can be.

Written in alternating first person pov, I was fully brought into each man's mind. I could feel every moment along with them. Every look. Every touch. Every laugh. Everything.

I love every moment of Not So Sincerely, Yours. This AM Johnson gem had me hooked on the first page, and kept me consumed throughout.
