Fools Like Us (Like Us) by B.L. Morticia

Blurb

Fortunately for Courtney, what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas…

Courtney enjoys traveling, so when his friends suggested Sin City, he jumped at the chance. While there, he lets it all hang loose, with the intent on snagging a “high roller.” Besides, it isn’t like he has a man, unless you count his ex, who won’t take no for an answer.

Chancellor loves taking risks. With little money and an infectious smile, he ditched a major auto manufacturer to build cars. After meeting with a handsy client, Chancellor goes for a drink. Despite the blue balls, Chancellor is resigned to thinking he spend the night alone.

Until the music starts…

Courtney uses his femme wiles to get Chancellor into bed. He doesn’t have to work hard because Chancellor is hooked. Enamored with this silver fox, Courtney is ready to take that plunge, but long-distance relationships suck ass and...

Courtney fears the awful truth will drive Chancellor away for good.

Fools Like Us is a low angst, opposites attract, age gap standalone, with snark, hot romance, and kinky sex. A femme boy who is allergic to commitment and the millionaire who has the propensity to make hasty decisions.

Look inside for more warnings.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Wow, BL Morticia's Fools Like Us is a steamy Daddy kink read.

Chancellor can't help but to notice the super hot dancing of the femme Courtney, who's in a skirt and stockings. Chancellor's always loved femme boys. What follows is a hot Vegas hookup that includes sex, sex, and more sex.

This is a story of
a super intense attraction. One taste of Courtney wasn't enough for Chancellor. Chancellor's a man who likes to take control, and desperately wants more from Courtney. Soon, they fall into a  super hot Daddy/boy relationship, with a whole lot of chemistry in and out of bed.

Their relationship is as much of an insta-love one as can be, so avoid this one if you hate insta-love. To say they get married quick is an understatement. These two men truly ache for one another, and you can feel it jumping off the pages.

The pace of the story itself doesn't resonate with me, but I still enjoyed it. They truly come together and grow through their sexual relationship. Being long distance, it all seems somewhat forced, but it's still a good read.

As for the sex, damn, you'll love it if you enjoy lace, role play, discipline, and daddy kink.

Fools Like Us is a story of finding the type of relationship one always craved, and beating the odds to hold onto it. It's about finding someone who gives you a purpose. I enjoyed this book and recommend it when you're in the mood for an ultra steamy insta-love story.
