Lily Michaels' A Granted Wish is a short read at just 93 pages, but a hell of a lot is packed into those pages.
In this gem, a Christmas party hookup between boss/employee ends up leading to more. Damn, this is a hot read as Adam's desire for Grant is intense and passionate. Adding to the fun, the employee is the aggressive one in the relationship. And no, they aren't newly acquainted, as Adam has worked as Grant's PA for years.
Grant hates Christmas, but Adam wants him to discover his love for it again. I enjoy this part a whole hell of a lot. Their tale also includes a certain someone who is guaranteed to be hated by the reader.
Despite being a short story, A Granted Wish is well developed and I didn't feel like anything was missing. It's an amazing blend of chemistry and holiday feels.
