Revive (Rewind #3) by Rowan Shaw

Revive (Rewind #3)

Blurb

To Patrick Lefèvre, nothing matters besides his family, his friends, and sex. He isn't cut out for relationships, and everyone knows it.

Since his divorce, Brandon Smith has had a lot going on. There's no time for hookups or one-night stands. Not until he meets Patrick—a man as elusive as he is gorgeous.

Little does Brandon know that the man he just slept with is his new therapist. And his appointment is tomorrow.

Can Patrick and Brandon deny their deep attraction and develop a normal client/therapist relationship?
Can they limit themselves to hooking up once—or should they give their passion one more chance?

After all, what harm could come from one more night together?

REVIVE is a Bisexual Romance taking place in France and the USA. Though part of a series, it is a standalone story without a cliffhanger.

CW: Some biphobia. Please read the author's note before starting the story.

Review
My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Revive, the third book in the Rewind series, is a great addition this wonderful world create by Rowan Shaw. Although part of a series, it is easily read as a standalone.

What starts as a one night stand soon turns into a client/psychiatrist relationship the next morning. Yikes! Of course, Patrick and Brandon can't deny their intense attraction, but acting on it isn't the wise choice.

Their relationship includes intense need that leads to some fun first-time moments. There's a lot of confusion and self-reflection. This story also includes a good look at biphobia, as Patrick is unable to trust bi men. This part is written in an understanding and compassionate manner.

It took me a while to get into the characters. As I don't read blurbs, I wasn't sure why things were going so fast at times. I just didn't feel the connection between these two. I had wanted more detail and more development. But then...

I love the turn it took and couldn't get enough of this story. My heart hurt for these men as obstacles were thrown their way. In the end, I cheered them on.
I love the end result and the overall relationship.

I continue to enjoy the side characters in this series. But, for this one,  my favorite character has to be Wei, who's a delightful, charming, and funny kid.

I am d
efinitely thrilled with Revive. It's a wonderful addition to this series.
