Abandoned and alone.
Shay Nicholls has lost everything, including three babies before they were even born. Abandoned by his alpha as a failure and believing he has no hope of a future, he can’t even take the final step he needs to end his miserable existence.
Nick Carmichael has been trapped in a life he hates for far too long. When he finds the broken and desperate omega, he feels life has finally handed him the chance to become the mate he wants and eagerly steps up to care for the terrified young man.
Shay doesn’t trust alphas, even ones with gentle hands and a kind smile, but when tragedy strikes and Nick gets hurt, Shay realizes he’s been wrong.
Unfortunately, it might just be too late.

Review
My Rating - 4 Stars!
From the start, I fell for Shay and sympathized with his situation. Shay struggles with his ability to accept love, while Nick fears forcing Shay too much.
This story includes a look into the horrific mistreatment of omegas, which is always fascinating. Not ever Omegaverse book has omegas treated this way, but it's always an interesting addition to a story.
The writing is good, with a great flow. The characters are interesting and are definitely likeable. A quick story, it doesn't go too deep into things, but it's a fun tale. Heavy one the emotion at times, it is truly heart-breaking, as it includes anxiety, panic attacks, and ex-abuse.
