Blurb
Betrayed by his love and dropped from his record deal, talented musician Ishmael Ivory escaped five years ago to the middle of nowhere, Oregon, to start over. These days, he’s the life of the party. The quick-witted, charismatic omega charms the pants off everybody in the small town of Orchard Ridge. He’s been tirelessly looking for his soulmate and his muse for years, but no one has been able to meet his sky-high standards.
Straight-laced accountant Damien Burns is new in town. The organized, disciplined alpha is hooked on self-improvement, and constantly strives to better himself. But after the sudden loss of his sister, he’s facing his biggest challenge yet: taking care of his orphaned twelve year old nephew, Peter. Despite excelling at everything else in life— parenting is the one skill he can’t seem to figure out.
Sparks fly when Damien shows up unannounced on Ishmael’s doorstep, and the whirlwind romance that follows surprises them both. Ishmael is thrilled to have finally found the alpha of his dreams— and his long dormant musical inspiration comes rushing back as a result.
Damien has too much on his plate to even think about finding a mate— but when he looks into Ishmael’s eyes, he realizes just how empty his life has been without a loving omega by his side.
But the whirlwind rush of emotions leads Damien to make some irresponsible choices— and now he fears his rash behavior might end up hurting his little nephew. And when Damien and Ishmael’s burgeoning new relationship is threatened by rumors, misunderstandings, and doubt— it seems all but inevitable that Ishmael will have his heart broken yet again.
What will it take for these two opposites to stay together so they can write their very own Love Song?

Review
My Rating - 4 Stars!
Love Song's a good Omegaverse romance by Braylon Black. The second book in the Orchard Ridge Omegas series, it's a fun story of healing, as two men with painful pasts, both find strength and healing through their developing love.
Ishmael's a small town musician who needs to find his muse. Damien's looking for a piano teacher for his young nephew whom he's suddenly raising. Soon Ishmael finds the alpha of his dreams on his doorstep and everything's about to change.
Their tale is one of insecurities, and the journey towards finding a purpose again. Both men have struggled with overwhelming loss and depression. Together, they can help one another to find life worth living again.
This tale is essentially about finding a family. It deals with the loss of family, and the power of healing when finding a family again.
I love the scenes with Peter, as he's a great kid who I just want to hug and protect. The way his uncle and Damien are able to give him strength is phenomenal.
Love Song's an intriguing romance. Braylon Black excels with describing the heat, tension, and chemistry, as Ishmael and Damien have overwhelming want and need for each other. If you like hot sex, you'll be pleased as the sex scenes are hot and intense. Overall, it's an enjoyable and steamy romance.
