Fake Boyfriend Breakaways is a collection of three short stories by Eden Finley, with each taking place in her Fake Boyfriend world.
From the start, the author drew me in with her writing style. The stories are quick, flow well, and have intriguing characters. There's some fun humor, some light-hearted banter, and a lot of romance.
In the first story, Aron's looking for a rebound, and soon his best friend, Wyatt, ends up in his arms. They're an adorable couple, as they're silly, hot, and have a great connection. I definitely enjoy these two together tremendously.
In the second story, Max and Ash are best friends. Max discovers that he's pansexual and highly attracted to Ash. What follows is a complicated relationship between two best friends, who secretly love one another. But Max's ex is Ash's brother which make things even trickier. Love their friendship, and love that their timing is finally right.
In the third story, Marty and Luce meet on a blind date. Attending a music festival together, things get interesting. They make for a fun couple, have some good chemistry, and definitely are good for one another. They have an age gap, and there's some good conversations about music and how it can touch one's soul.
I highly recommend Fake Boyfriend Breakaways. This entire collection of short stories is wonderful. Each story has a fantastic couple with an entertaining relationship. They're all light-hearted, yet meaningful stories. Written by Eden Finley, it's no surprise that everything is well written.
