Alex is a fun, sweet, and tender romance by AM Salinger. My first time reading AM Salinger, I am impressed, as I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to read more.
It's the story of a marriage of convenience between two strangers that ends up as a marriage of self discovery instead. After entering this marriage, Alex experiences a sexual awakening. And Finn, omg, Finn's past with his wife left me in tears. The poor man was so clueless. My heart hurt for Finn and all that he never knew, always thinking he was straight.
I enjoy all the first time moments, which end up being so important to the story and emotional as well. They are also hot.
The writing is fantastic. It's a quick read, despite it's length. It's not too deep, but it's wonderful and flows well.
Overall, I am thrilled to have discovered Alex. It's perfect for when you're in the mood for a man to discover his true sexual desires. It's a delightful fake marriage romance.
