Open Ice Hit (The Sin Bin #1) by E.M. Lindsey & Marina Vivancos

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Vicki and Tommy aren't just enemies on the ice—they're explosive off it too...in more ways than one.

Noah Viklund doesn’t play hockey in order to make friends. That’s not what the game means to him. And he especially can’t stand the Sea Dog’s new rookie, Tommy Tremblay. After all, Tommy’s the sort of player that gets under Vicki's skin.

He’s reckless.
He’s wild.
And he won’t take anything seriously.

But when a chance meeting during the offseason shows Vicki what a good boy Tommy can be for him, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep seeing him as the bad guy. After all, how can he hate the only man who has ever made him feel worthy?

Tommy is tired of Vicki’s stuck-up, holier-than-thou attitude. He’s fought hard to get where he is, and he’s not going to let some tightly wound guy make him feel like he doesn’t deserve his hard-won success.

So, he can’t explain why they keep falling into bed together, or why he’s starting to fall for the man he’s supposed to hate.

They both know this shouldn’t work, but the more they try to push each other away, the more their souls seem to connect. The question is, will they find a way for their hearts to be vulnerable and let love in?

Open Ice Hit is a steamy MM romance set between the fictional NHL teams of the Brooklyn Phantoms and the Queens Sea Dogs. It contains hate that might not quite be hate, team as found family, sick goals from soft hands, some really stinky marine animals, praise kink a mile wide, and an unexpected journey that might just be worth taking.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Open Ice Hit is the first book in The Sin Bin series. This EM Lindsey and Marina Vivancos tale is a delightful enemies to lovers romance.

Being an avid fan of sports romances, I was super excited for this book. And, damn, it's everything I hoped it would be.

Noah/Vicki and Tommy are the perfect combination of animosity, hatred, chemistry, and love. Their hatred leads to a D/s relationship they never saw coming. It's hate sex and more hate sex, with plenty of light kink involved.

And then the feelings come. Seeing these two let their walls down and start melting for one another is fabulous.

From the start, everything between these two is complicated. The sex isn't cut and dry, they are stuck sneaking around, and they have plenty of outside problems. And of course they're rivals.

This is a story with a controlling father who causes plenty of pain and unresolved feelings. Ugh, I both hated this as it made me so angry. But it certaintly adds tremendously to the character's layers.

There's a lot going on in this book. And I enjoy it all. The sports moments are enjoyable. The obstacles in their way are great. And the issue of coming out to anyone is well done. There's an age gap that also adds plenty to this tale. And, omg god, I adore the ending.

Open Ice Hit is a riveting book. This EM Lindsey and Marina Vivancos collab is enjoyable from the start. I couldn't put it down. Definitely pick up this book the next time you're in the mood for hate sex, some D/s, and sports. You won't regret it.

Storm Bound (Cedarwood Beach #4) by Rhys Everly

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

Handsome, nerdy… oh, and he’s also my boss!

When I took the job, I had no idea I’d be working with my dream man.

He’s obsessed with my favorite TV show.
He’s kind and gentle.
And he’s also submissive.

My perfect match, in every way.

But after one too many heartbreaks, I don’t cross the line between colleague and lover.

That is until the perfect storm hits the shores of my small town.

Then, all hell breaks loose.

Is he my happily-ever-after?

Or a heartbreak in the making?

Storm Bound is the fourth book in the Cedarwood Beach small town gay romance series and is completely standalone. It contains two geeks, a D/s dynamic, a hurricane, and Greek Yaya determined to get her grandson married.

My Rating - 3.5 Stars!

Storm Bound is the fourth book in the Cedarwood Beach series by Rhys Everly.

This romance has a meeting that seems set in the stars. With
a storm that pops up at an inconvenient time and an awkward boss/employee situation, there's plenty to enjoy about this story.

I enjoy the way Charlie senses Adam's need to submit. I love the way he immediately steps in to help calm him.

This tale includes a health issue that has caused a lot of insecurities over the years. I enjoy the writing style, but something about the storyline didn't have me loving this story. I was definitely distracted by some small details, and taken out of the story at times.

Storm Bound is a good small town romance. There's lots to enjoy in this Rhys Everly read. I am glad I read it even if I didn't love it all.

Love Lessons (Love Language #2) by Reese Morrison

Amazon Link - Available in KU

“Come here,” Dustin repeated, his dark eyes serious.
Landon put his hands on his hips and stood his ground. “Make me.”
He knew he was acting like a petulant teenager, but this was Dustin. And with Dustin, he felt safe.
Please, he thought, please, please make me.

Landon doesn’t need anyone. So he’s confident that when he offers to train a nervous, sexy Dom, nothing will come of it.
But Dustin has some things to teach him, too. Because Dustin uses sign language and asks him questions that no one else bothers to ask. Because Dustin wants him, no matter how he presents his gender. Because when Landon rebels, Dustin’s there to keep him in line. And when Dustin makes him obey, it feels real.
Real enough to call Dustin his Daddy.
But these are just lessons, right?

Love Lessons has a nervous new Dom, a confident and genderfluid sub who offers to train him, age play with a middle, a bit of angst, and plenty of sign language. Love Lessons and Love Limits share intertwined characters and timelines, and should be read together.

This expanded edition features a new cover and over 15,000 new words including multiple new and enhanced scenes throughout the book.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Reese Morrison's Love Lessons, the second book in the Love series, is fabulous.

As in Love Language, the author packs a punch with the complexity of everything tackled in this book. It deals with deafness, ASL, gender-fluidity, BDSM, age play, asexuality, and more. Any of these aspects would have made an interesting read on their own. But, weaving them all together is extraordinary.

It's impressive the way that the author handles Landon, who's a multi-layered character. He can't hear, he's gender fluid, desperately needs age play, and has a lot to learn. I adore the way Landon/Nina switches ages and gender so easily. But even better, is the way that Dustin recognizes the change instantly.

And in a fascinating move, Dustin has an auditory processing disorder, which amps up the importance of ALS and communication in this amazing read.

This story includes a kink club and plenty of kink, including sensory depravation. But, seriously, imagine the issues these two men face with their hearing problems during DBSM, and everything is increased tenfold.

Landon is so damn confident in his sexuality, but he's also unaware of what he wants sexually. With Dustin's help, Landon's able to figure out what works for him, as the two struggle to figure out what works for them together.

Poor Dustin is so damn weighed down by his past. He struggles to trust himself, as well as trusting a sub. It's a complex issue and it's beautiful in the way it's handled.

This is a story of facing fears and taking chances. It includes sexual exploration and relationship struggles. They are so close, but struggle to make things work.

In addition to everything else that is tackled in this book, the author also adds in an emotional issue with Landon teaching deaf students. It's a terrific storyline on it's own, and adds tremendously to this tale.

Overall, Love Lessons is a fantastic read. Definitely check it out when you're looking for a BDSM read with a complex storyline and even complex characters.

Learning to Love (The Education of the Heart #2) by M.A. Innes

Amazon Link  - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Leon’s trusted very few people in his life…but that’s starting to change.

Finally understanding why love and attraction were always confusing for him has changed Leon’s life in more ways than he can count, but the biggest has been how he sees Morgan. They’ve gone from barely being friends to so much more but trust requires honesty, and Leon knows it’s time to start opening up about his past.

Leon’s trust is worth more than any declaration of love for Morgan.

Morgan knows how special he is to Leon and he doesn’t need the words to prove that to him…but he also knows that learning more about his boyfriend will take their relationship to a whole new level. However, when finding out more about Leon means visiting his family for the first time, Morgan is starting to realize he should be more careful about what he wishes for.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Learning to Love is a fantastic age play romance by MA Innes. The second book in The Education of the Heart series, it picks up where Learning to Trust left off. And, omg, I love it!

Leon and Morgan are a professor and student in an age play relationship together. They're trying to navigate their way through their new lifestyle. As well, they are working on their D/s aspect, with some fun master scenes.

Leon and Morgan are truly wonderful together. Each brings out the best in the another. The trust and connection is wonderful. The love between them is all consuming and wonderfully developed.

And of course, there's lot of heat!

The writing is fabulous as usual. Nobody writes age play any better than MA Innes. You might find a few equals, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better. And, as MA often does, appearances from past characters are included  which just ups the fun.

Learning to Love is sweet, sweet, and more sweet. MA Innes perfectly sums up their relationship as a full time Daddy/part time boyfriend one. If you love age play romances, this one is a must read. Granted, all of MA Innes' books are must reads.

Expensive by Amy Bellows

In a world of fated mates rich parents pay warlocks to magically tie their omega children to alphas from the “right” families. At 18, Andrew Sullivan was magically tied to a seventy-year-old man who died before they had the chance to bond. Surgeons can remove a bond, but they can’t help Andrew. He’ll spend his life aching for love he can never have.

Timber has worked as a Daddy Dom in the porn industry for over ten years when his agent comes to him with a peculiar request. An omega from New York wants to make a film with him—a private film. The contract comes with a picture of a beautiful man and long list of kinky demands. At the end of the list is a nervous request:

“I’d like you to call me ‘baby boy.’ If you wouldn’t mind.”

Timber can’t refuse a request like that.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Expensive is a thrilling, stand-alone omegaverse romance by Amy Bellows.

Both Andrew and Timber are intriguing from the start, with backgrounds that are tragic, as well as leaving them in desperate circumstances. They desperately need sex, desire kink, and can't get serious with someone, although they certainly bond emotionally.

Andrew's contract for sex with the porn star Timber leads to more than they could have ever imagined. It all starts with a connection they never expected and ends with an all consuming love. If you want heat, there's plenty of it. Public sex, some D/s, pain, mpreg, and eggs!

As for the age play, it's beautifully done. I just wanted to snuggle up in a blanket fort with them. And, omg, my heart melted with the stuffed animals. It's so perfectly sweet.

There's also plenty of emotion and angst, as they're in an impossible situation. Let's just say they have to suffer a lot before this one is over.

Once again the author excels at world building, fully bringing these men, their circumstances, and their experiences to life. It is one hell of a read.

Expensive is sexy, sweet, and totally satisfying. If you're a fan of Amy Bellows, you will absolutely love this book. If you're a fan of Omegaverse romances but haven't yet read one of Amy's books, do so now! As for me, this is a definite for my re-read list.

He’s the infamous libertine behind the most extravagant parties in Manhattan, and his exploits often lead to juicy tabloid stories. Enjoying his wealth and freedom to the fullest, Michael has the world at his feet.

A standalone novella based on the original short story Yes, Daddy. HAE, no cliffhangers.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Cabin Fever is an enjoyable story of a bodyguard and his charge. This Roe Horvat book is perfect for anyone in the mood for a hot Daddy/boy romance.

If you are expecting a romance entwined with a lot of danger, this is not the book for you. This is primarily a story of forced proximity and heat. Vincent and Mike can only fight their attraction so long before their desires take over.

This book is sizzling. The sex scenes are plenty and the two men are smoking together. The developing romance will leave you swooning, as the feelings intensify. With some hot Daddy moments, a bratty boy, and some light BDSM, these two will leave you satisfied.

Both characters are enjoyable, and the light suspense adds nicely to the fun. I enjoy the way their chemistry explodes as well as the way their connection grows.

Cabin Fever is a perfect when you're looking for a quick and sexy read. This Roe Horvat book will not disappoint.

“The rules, Michael.”

“I was literally ten steps away from the cabin, Vincent.” I wanted to defend myself more, but my voice sounded shaky and weak. I snapped my mouth shut.

His hand on my neck tightened, and he pushed me through the door. I stumbled but regained my balance. Vincent shut the door behind us and turned to me.

“Did you do it to rile me up, Mikey?” His expression stayed suspiciously neutral.

“No,” I answered honestly. “I was just bored. You were in your room doing whatever, and I didn’t want to disturb you.”

“My work here is for nothing if you don’t follow the rules.”

I knew it wasn’t his intention, but the command in his voice did things to me. I licked my lips. Don’t think about the fear. You’re safe. Look at him. His shoulders are rising with angry breaths, his eyes flashing with fury. He’s gorgeous…

“Fucking hell, Mikey. I mean it!”

“I’m sorry.” I was getting hard. He was magnificent when he was pissed at me.

“Stop looking at me like that. This is serious.”

“I know.” But I couldn’t help it. My nipples were tingling, and I had to swallow. “Will you punish me?”

“No, you fucking incubus. I’m not rewarding you for endangering yourself on a whim, dammit. You will follow the rules, Michael. How is it possible that if I tell you to keep your hands off your dick, you obey me, but if I ask you to be reasonable so I can keep you alive, you don’t care?”

He was frustrated with me. Shit. It seemed like I wasn’t getting any tonight. My nerves quivered again, my anxiety looming close. Double shit.

“My people report to me every day about everything and anything that happens in the area,” Vincent said. “It takes quite a lot of effort, but it means I can let you out to breathe sometimes. If you do this again, I’ll fucking lock you in the panic room for the rest of the week, I swear.”

“I’m really sorry, Vincent. I won’t do it again.”

He shook his head and took a deep breath, bracing his hands on his hips.

“You are the client from hell, you know that?” His words were hard, but his voice sounded gentle.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to babysit myself either. “I can double your pay.”

He chuckled at that. “No money can compensate for what you’re doing to me, Mikey.”

I drew in a breath. I was lousy at expressing emotion. Seriously, complete shit at that part. I mean, in sex, I could tell anything and everything, but actual feelings? This man worked tirelessly to keep my stupid head intact, and I only made it more difficult for him from the start because I was a sex-crazed, twisted nervous wreck. I had no words to explain to him how grateful and how sorry I was.

So I stripped naked in the middle of the room and knelt on the floor while Vincent stared, mouth parted, eyes burning. I bent my head in complete submission, arms hanging limply by my sides, and spoke quietly.

“I’m so sorry, Daddy. I promise I won’t break the rules again. Please, forgive me.”

I closed my eyes and waited.

Slow Hand (Perfect Hands #4) by Nora Phoenix

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Ford never wanted to be a Daddy. So how did he end up with not one, but two boys who need one…?

Master Ford loves his life. He’s respected in his club, has his choice of boys to play with, and is happy staying single.

When the club owner asks him to take in two abused boys, Ford reluctantly agrees. But when one doesn’t even talk, and the other is a bundle of hostility, Ford wonders if he’s in over his head.

It takes a long time to win their trust, as the abuse they suffered is worse than Ford could’ve imagined. But when he discovers that Thierry is a little and that Jathan needs a firm Daddy, Ford questions if he can be what both his boys need. And where do his own needs fit into this?

Slow Hand is the fourth book in the Perfect Hands series. It can be read as a standalone but may be more fun if you’ve read the previous books. It’s a 108k word slow burn MMM romance with two hurting boys, a man who discovers new sides to himself, and one very happy end. It features daddy care including age play.

My Rating -  5 Stars!

Nora Phoenix's Slow Hand is a great BDSM read. The fourth book in the Perfect Hands series, it is easily read as a standalone.

This is a book full of emotion, want, and a whole lot of self searching. I'm impressed with the layers in this developing menage romance.

Ford agrees to care for two broken men, who aren't the subs they think they are. What follows is an emotional journey for each man. Not only do they need to learn to read the others, but also figure out their own needs.

Omg, Thierry and Jathan's backstory is heart-wrenching. These are two men who I just want to take home and care for myself. I want to be the mother they need.

Their story includes some fascinating kink, including age play, with different age regressions, diaper play, and Daddy kink. Ford has never been interested in Daddy kink, but it ends up that this is what each boy needs from him. Most impressive is the way Ford deals with the fear in each boy. His work with each of them, individually and together, is impressive. Always a dom, but never a Daddy, he excels in figuring out what each of them needs.

This is a story of learning to understand oneself, and how oneself relates to others. It's a story with heart to hearts, self inspections, and taking chances.

It's no surprise that I love the author's writing style, as I've loved this whole series. She excels in combining heart-felt characters and a multi-layered storyline. The BDSM is very light, focusing on the Daddy kink and age play, rather than D/s.

Slow Hand is a beautiful Daddy romance, times two! Do yourself a favor and read this book next time you're looking for an intriguing polyamorous read. You won't be disappointed by the life changing journey of these three men.

I'm stuck in a straight guy's apartment. How am I supposed to deal with this?

I hadn't planned on living with Ross very long. I just needed a place to stay to get on my feet after a bad break up, and happened to be friends with his sister. But when the shelter in place order comes down, not only do I lose any chance of finding my own space; my bartending job dries up, too.

And Ross is taking this order very seriously. He grew up in a family of Montana doomsday preppers, and his rules are very clear: we've got three months of food, and neither of us is leaving—for any reason.

I don't have a ton of money, and there are bills to pay. But there are a few different ways to make some cash online—especially when the rest of the world is shut inside, too, and need something to entertain them. Who would have imagined I would end up on a cam site entertaining guys from all over the world just by being myself and having fun? So long as I wait until Ross goes to sleep before I log on, anyway—I definitely do not want him to know what I'm up to on his couch.

But Ross is full of surprises, it turns out. And I guess I am too. Because what I end up sharing with him is something I've never shared with anyone before. I just worry that things are about to get very complicated. Because every gay boy knows the cardinal rule:

Never, ever fall for the straight guy.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Shelter in Place is a fun book. This Simon Strange romance takes place during a pandemic, which had me seriously hesitant going into it. But, omg, I love it. Absolutely love it.

Do not think of this as being a book about the Covid 19 pandemic. It is not. This is a book about a relationship that develops during the shelter in place part of the pandemic. It is not scary. It will not make you think about the current situation much. Rather, this is an exciting example of what could happen while being sheltered in place together.

And it's hot. And just when you think it's hot, it gets even hotter. They experiment with voyeurism, first times, D/s, humiliation, and a one time experiment with water sports.

And it's amazing. I absolutely love this book. There's a lot to it, including sexual exploration, sexual discoveries, and the struggle with one's sexual orientation. It's emotional and amazing. And in the end there are doubts and fears.

On top of all that, it's an excellent illustration of the sexual characters in the online persona versus their sexual sides in reality. It's an interesting thing considering the world we live in, with people only showing what they want to show online.

If you enjoy sexy books, Shelter in Place is a must read. This Simon Strange read is the perfect distraction from real life. It's a cute, fluffy, and hot GFY read between roommates.

“Holy... shit,” I muttered. I looked at the camera. “Did you guys see that?”

@LuckyTom: That was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life.

@Look3r123: Shit, is he okay? Is he breathing? Did he die?

@YourDad57: Russ I think you killed him, brother. What’s in your cum?

I laughed, and swiped a bit from the end of my cock, and looked at it like I was seriously wondering. “Hell, I don’t know. Maybe I have a super power. What do you think, Cal?”

Cal opened his eyes, and I angled the iPad to make sure he was fully in frame. He shook his head, and waved a hand. “I don’t know. Gotta be something, though. Here, let me...” he reached for my arm.

I let him take my hand, and he pulled it close and closed his lips around my fingertip, nursing the drop of cum off it. He shook his head once it was clean. “Not sure. Not enough of a sample.”

I grunted, and grabbed the base of my dick to shake it at him. “Maybe you better clean this off, then.”

I couldn’t even help myself at that point. Cal glanced up at me, questioning and exciting. I gave him a nod, and he sat up as I lifted my cock so he could get to it more easily. His mouth closed over the head of my dick and my head rolled back as a shiver ran through me. Then I sank into his mouth, and maybe changed my mind about whether I could go a second time. He groaned quietly, and his slick fingers, covered in my cum, his, and some vaseline, found my nuts and gave them a gentle kind of squeeze as he took me down until I pushed into his throat and then past.

“Fuck,” I gasped, barely able to get a breath. “Yeah, fucking clean it all up, Cal.”

He grunted, leaned in, gripped my dick with his other hand, and began to work me. I shuddered, looked down and almost stopped him. I didn’t think I could really come again, not so soon, not after that. But the first one had been weak. Nothing special, nothing extraordinarily intense. Not like the time he sucked me. I tangled my fingers in his hair and moved my hips with his head, pulling away the same time he did and thrusting in slow.

It was like the first time all over again—all that head, that suction, the magic of his tongue. It made me drunk, made my tongue loose. Except this time I knew what was in his head when he did it. How he was desperate to please me, to treat my cock just right. His groaning grew higher pitched, more urgent. He fucking loved sucking my dick. And I realized that it made me feel like a god that he did. “Good,” I rumbled. “That’s good, Cal. Fucking suck it all up. Think you can make me come again? Try. Get that cum, little guy. You wanna own this dick? That’s rich. Look at you, you don’t own shit. This dick owns you, doesn’t it? You fucking dream about it, think about it all day... you want another taste. Work for it. Suck it out of me, good boy.”

Ding, ding, ding. Ding-ding. Ding. Ding ding ding.

Oh yeah—they fucking loved it.

Simon Strange loves coffee, red wine, craft beer, and men. Especially men. Especially the men you should never, ever screw...

What is it about the forbidden that gets our blood hot? Is it just the rebellious instinct to do what we're told is wrong? Those men we grew up with, the ones that were either always looking over us or always by our side—or chasing us around—the ones that say they don't want us, and would never ever... well, just this once, if you don't tell...

So that's what you get from Simon Strange. Stories of the forbidden, of the filthy, and the naughty, and the never-ever-tell, and of course, the strange. With nearly 150 reviews for his collection of erotica and romance, and an average of four and a half stars across the board, you'll almost certainly find something you like in the pages of his work.

Just be sure to bring a change of undies. ;)
